Do you get the low beam out indicator on the check panel? I installed LEDs and randomly get it. The lights will also dim after a while because of that.
My e30’s round rings don’t have a mounting point for the 3 long screws just clean rings all around. Have an 86 325es does your model come with different rings?
@@slightlyMADcustoms sorry I mean holes on the outer ring that goes over the lights, I did find ones online from tuner Motorsport so I will probably purchase those thank you for the response
hey, I'm in the process of LS swapping my E30 and i figured I'd do a hellcat style set up with the intake, do u know if I can move the high beams to one side with the wiring or do i have to figure something else
Ya you can do that for sure. These headlights have both low beam and high beam functions in them. So you can wire them up however you’d like. There’s three pins on the back of the bulbs: ground, trigger for high beam, & trigger for low beam.
i know this is like 2y old but should i just cut the old mounting bit so i can keep the adjustability of my lights? i don't know if i'd want to toss that small bit of the mounting frame
I thought about that but it still wouldn’t work. There’s too much bulk to the back of the new headlights to fit inside the stock rings without completely ruining them. The method I shared works well.
@@slightlyMADcustoms what is better or I should say easier to put up a one piece front bumper or 2 piece bumper What body kit you have is it plastic or all fiberglass are the bumpers also fiberglass

heck yeah thanks for sharing, are these the ones? Motorcycle Headlight, AAIWA 5-3/4 5.75 Inch 45W LED Headlight with DRL Headlamp Projector Driving Light for Motorbike
Here’s the title for mine: Wecade 5-3/4 5.75 Inch Cree LED Hi/Lo Beam Headlight Motorcycle (black) The title you shared sounds like pretty much the same thing. I think there’s a bunch of different brands that sell sort of the same style
The bulbs that I have listed in the description have low beam and Highbeams built into them. So I hooked up the low beams on the outer‘s and highbeams for the inners. Now you could also just do whatever you’d like when wiring it
I believe the ones I bought were sold individually, so I ordered four. I would carefully read through the description and reviews to see if someone mentions it. The cost should be around $50-$80 per headlight
@@slightlyMADcustoms ahh ok nice. It seemed like they aren’t included since you said you got other bulbs. Thanks for the quick response! I’m from Calgary too btw lol I was going to order these off Amazon but they’re currently sold out.
If you search “smoked e30 taillights” there are a few options. Although I can’t recommend any. Sometimes aftermarket tailights can look cheapie person, so it’s hard to say
Personally I’m not a huge fan of the halos. I don’t think they look period correct on e30s. I have seen some E30s that pull it off really well, but it’s a tricky one!
@@slightlyMADcustoms Yeah it sure would be a tricky one. I think im just gonna do the non halos since i have an all black early bumper with a late model valence.
How exactly did you wire them up? I'm going to be doing this soon. I have a rough idea on how I'm going to approach the wiring. But I was wondering what you did and if you ran into any issues.
There’s no wiring required to install these headlights. The plugs on the back of the bulbs is the same 3 prong style as the factory ones. So just plug it in and you’re good to go! If you wanted a different set up than factory (if you want both headlights to come on as high beams, inner low beams, etc.) then just take some jumper wires and figure out which terminals do what. It’ll be pretty easy to figure out because there’s only three terminals. One is 12v for low beam, one 12v for high beam, and one is ground. Once you figure out which prong does what, it’s completely up to you how they receive power! Good luck
Tyler, check out the channel Euro garage. There's an episode called Abi installs new headlights. I have the same problem and I found that video to help me. Good luck dude.

how do you adjust them higher or lower, also did you paint the rings around the bulb?
Tighten and loosen the 3 mounting screws to get the right angle. Yes I painted the rings black

Just pull the bulb out the check panel
