The way you walked into shot, and standing next to the Bonser reminded me of the opening scene of the kids TV program Choc-a-block. "Man Cave, reporting for duty"
To solve the tire rotation problem, why not swap the sides and then you won't have to grind any clearance on the rims. Put your spacers in for the axle and its fixed. Looking forward to seeing this complete. Headlight would be nice and might come in handy,
@@NorfolkMancave wont lie, I had a bit of a laugh thinking may friend you could just swap em around be right. Also i know you were saying you were going to use a half inch spacer to clear the tires but looking at it you might want to give yourself a bit more room for some flex in the bed, might just be me over thanking it but figured better safe than sorry. Anyways Love the video my friend.
You are a hard case Adam, why pay $200 hundred pound for tyres when the $40 pound ones do the same job, common sense really.Excellent job Adam ,can't wait to see it all fi ished ,it will be Awesome.
If you put a spacer between the chassis and axle youll increase the prop shaft angle, just watch you dont end up with a binding prop shaft! Ideally you want as straight a line as you can , think about raising the bed instead.
The minimal lift he's talking wouldn't matter... besides ...if output and input yolks are parallel planes...no problem ...if they are at different angles, there is a problem. A bit of different don't matter
Looks tidy man cave 👍 a ribbed tractor type of tire would of looked good rather than that car one on the front wheel ,don't mess with the axle height be better to raise the bed a tad I reckon ?
Hi Adam, You are doing a great job on the truck you will have to put seats on the back then you can take us for a ride, not all of us together lol, Well Adam see you on the next one,🛠️🛠️🛠️⭐️⭐️👍👍.
A nice chrome period headlight with maybe some appropriate rear lights also. The truck bed fitted with English oak boards finished with a few coats of varnish. The 'Bonser' would look the business. 👍
@NorfolkMancave I bet you could build a couple of slide in benches to fit in the bed and take it to the larger event grounds for people to jump on and off or just take a tour before setting off on foot. Be handy for the older folks or families with small kids. Do it for donations to offset fuel and maintenance. Heck.... if it gets popular, build a surrey wagon to pull behind it
Bogie the Bonser, coz it's horrible snot green :) I think I'd raise the bed by raising the pivot bar - the chassis has 2 holes in it at that point, so you could make 2 simple steel bar brackets with vertical holes (2 for the chassis, one for the bed pivot bar above those) and raise it an inch 1/2 or so?
looking good, can't not sit quite see properly if you turn the wheel around will the wheel not sit in between the the rails of the body or will the tyres be touching the main chassis
That's a optical illusion mate. The chassis rails are not parallel. It about a foot narrower at the front than it is the back. And the chassis is only about 6 feet long.

Lol. I like to make a entrance 🤣🤣🤣

You right there, I think Adam had a brain fart! You've only got to swap the wheels over and the tread faces the right way. 😂
Agreed, the air valves are outside.
hahah my thoughts as well. Im thinking while watching.. well just swap sides mate.
Yeah done them straight after I stopped filming. Noticed I could have had them the right way. 🤣🤣🤣

Adam. I looking forward to having a drive on Bobby the Bonser. She is looking good😀
that bonser is one of the coolest things I have ever seen
Glad you like it buddy. Few more vids to come yet. 😀😀
If you make bonser axle spacers triangular(deeper at back than front) , then pinion shaft will be running more in line with prop shaft.
That's an idea. 😀
Love it it's grate looks nice little truck
Thanks . Should be good fun once finished. 😀
Hi there from what i see you have to wheels right as valves are on out side so just change them from left to right . But as allways a great show
Yeah done them straight after I stopped filming. Noticed I could have had them the right way. 🤣🤣🤣
Adam how about putting a little bit longer bed mounts on the where it pivots
Yeah think I might go for that option. 🤔
Swap your tyres around Adam as they say new set of eyes solves many problems 😂
Yeah done them straight after I stopped filming. Noticed I could have had them the right way. 🤣🤣🤣
@@NorfolkMancave there's me thinking you might have got on the beers Adam brilliant channel as always mate keep up the good work

I think some would say I'm. Ummm Tight... 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I'm just careful 🤣🤣

Bit of box section job done
Sounds about right sir. 😀😀
it was great to see more work on the bonser looking forwards to the next bonser vidio
Coming soon buddy. I'm enjoying working on that. Just struggling to find the time now it's dark as 4pm. 😪😪. I hate winter for that reason.
Yes look good and gen hope get it running
Looks tidy man cave 👍 a ribbed tractor type of tire would of looked good rather than that car one on the front wheel ,don't mess with the axle height be better to raise the bed a tad I reckon ?
Yeah I'm on the hunt for one. Like you say that car tyre don't look right.
Thankyou for another entertaining video. Really looking forward to you enjoying your first ride on the truck.
I can't wait to drive it. Will be so cool
🤣🤣

Great idea. Guinness world record coming up, how many youtube viewers can fit on a 3 wheel truck. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
A nice chrome period headlight with maybe some appropriate rear lights also. The truck bed fitted with English oak boards finished with a few coats of varnish. The 'Bonser' would look the business. 👍
Yeah I may well do that. Would look good I think. Would set it off maybe. 🤔
Adam, you don't need to modify the wheels, their handed, and you simply have them on the wrong sides.
LoL...I was about to type this ....
Yeah done them straight after I stopped filming. Noticed I could have had them the right way. 🤣🤣🤣

as the old Norfolk Rally's motto used to say@@NorfolkMancave "Do Different" lol
Call it “The Caveman”
The tyres are need changing round, when a tractor runs over you the tyre smiles at you !
Yeah done them straight after I stopped filming. Noticed I could have had them the right way. 🤣🤣🤣

Lol. It's John Deere Green 🤣🤣🤣. Yeah think I might just raise the bed a bit. Leave axel alone.
Hi mate put a 90 on exhaust and go out the bottom 👍
I did think of that bit it would be tricky to get round the chains and chassis. I will have a closer look tho.
Hi adam dont know about bobby the bonser more like babbs the bonser. cheer mate.
Babbs is cool 😎
I would've called it Bon the Martin Bonzer.,or little Bon the Bonzer.
Bon Jovi 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's cool
From your Arkansas hillbilly switch the left and right .. Rim and Tires tread will be right
Auto correct sorry
Yeah done them straight after I stopped filming. Noticed I could have had them the right way. 🤣🤣🤣
The wheels need swapping from side to side. The tyres are facing the wrong way
Yeah done them straight after I stopped filming. Noticed I could have had them the right way. 🤣🤣🤣
The axle mounts look out of square with the chassis rail
That's a optical illusion mate. The chassis rails are not parallel. It about a foot narrower at the front than it is the back. And the chassis is only about 6 feet long.
Bodgie the Bonser would be more apt!! 😂😂
Lol. Not a fan of the colour??
I like the colour but you always say that people call you a bodger 🤣
