Antony Starr is such a great actor, everytime a scene like this comes on with Homelander and another person in private, i genuinely fear for that persons life.

I love how the music is all normal but as soon as they focus on Homelander slowly smiling becomes distorted and slowly fades away. What a terrifying sight, seeing that psycho alone in the room smiling and looking straight at you. No wonder Deep was terrified.
I love the lighting and background in this scene. Dim and warm sunlight coming through the windows high up in New York’s skyline really gives their meeting room an unnatural and divine look, something akin to mountain Olympus from the Greek mythology.
The absolute best result for homelanders character is him losing all of his powers and becoming just another human being I would love to see that story arc unfold imagine a person who gets to do whatever they want whenever they want however they want and suddenly that's all taken away from them
Imagine if he took Soldier Boy's blast and thought he is ok, only to try to laser him and finding out he no longer can, or try to fly away and just jump like a regular person, he'd instantly be scared shitless
