Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Scarlet and Violet using only psychic types?
Nuzlocke rules:
- Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
- Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
- All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
- Always Set mode
- No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
- No overleveling the next gym leader
Custom Rules
- No setup moves
- No terastalizing

Hey please do a Nuzlocke of Nexomon, Evocreo, Loomian Legacy and Tales of Tanorio. Along with these pokemon fan games Pokemon Solar light and lunar dark, Pokemon Sage, Pokemon Ethereal gates and Pokemon Xenoverse

I also like the idea of you can use 1 non psychic type mon but it's terra has to be psychic and you have to terra it when it comes out

I'm surprised a Psychic team did this well. I would argue the Psychic type itself didn't factor much into the success of these Pokémon beyond allowing them to exist in the same team, but the Pokémon inhabiting this type in Paldea kind of rocked on their own merits and turned out to be really diverse.
And yeah, agreed on Armarouge being cracked. If Ogerpon didn't exist, the Charcadet family would be my favorite Gen 9 Pokémon, and I'm glad both Armarouge and Ceruledge work as well as they do.

another entertaining video for sure man. have a suggestion for a challenge - "pokemon scarlet - starters only hardcore nuzlocke. you choose your starter, and have the 26 others in a box at a low level (so they dont surpass level cap) and put their name on a wheel. every time you win a nemona battle/team star/boss/gym/titan, spin the wheel and add a pokemon to the team. i did this challenge (not as a nuzlocke) and it was a fun playthrough

It would be a major challenge, but have you considered a run through the game with borh DLCs? To make it fair could allow terastalization and/or status moves

You gave me inspiration to start my first nuzlocke , i started with flying type on scarlet and i have few question , can i use potion , fullrestore after battle ? , and if level cap is 17 lets say for gym and my mon during battle leveled to 18 can i still use him during battle ?

Psychic is one if my favorite types, because while the type itself is probably on the lower end of mid, there are so many individual members of that type that give exactly zero fucks about that and decide to ball out anyway.

Btw, Uranus is the only planet that's based on Greek mythology, so you could call your Bronzong Caelus and make it based on Roman mythology like the others
Just curious, how do S/V nuzlockes work when it comes to encounters? Same thing with SWSH and Legends Arceus. Obviously with the older gens it's just based on the first encounter you get when walking in wild grass, but with gen 8+, do you just get to pick your first encounter?

i think geetas team has a really interesting concept with neat pokemon like gogoat that would make for a funny competitive team (since its basically a trick room team) but its impossible to make even remotely threatening with the regular trainer ai. its honestly a shame

you should do a nuzlocke with like starters only in a randomizer set cause I was playing a randomizer n I ran into a couple of starters

Antler when it comes to these parkour runs we have to abide by the principal there is no kill like overkill. And no one wants to play around the crit unless you're using furry grass cat
