Shoutout Light, man still got it.
But Sparg0 is proving that his run is coming
so grateful that irl tournaments are back. I love this shit
Such a heart pacing grand finals omg. Good stuff to Light 👌
One of the most hypest sets I've ever seen, AND they play some jet set radio ost to end it. Never thought I'd hear it from a smash vod
One of the best sets of all time...so fast, so hype. 8 games under 30 minutes is insane. Light's redemption story post-quarantine and his grueling top 8 loser's run (where he had to play a game 5 for every set except for the first grand finals set)....the script writers went crazy
Absolutely FIERY, fast-paced set!!! Loved every second of commitment from the players and commentators.
I remember Charlie and his friend shouting Bible characters lmao
hard to believe this set was almost a year ago, I feel like I watched this live last month
I’m really happy for light. Spargo has been working so hard all this time, he keeps getting 2nd or 3rd. I hope he gets a big W soon
"It's for the history books Light! Do you hear them singing? They're calling your name Light!"
Light カッコよすぎる。
うち転がり読みからの火力高すぎて痺れる。
Lets gooooooooooooo!!!!!
It’s about God damn time! Light always comes so close but never finishes the job. The fact that he won from losers bracket and it came down to the last stock makes the victory so sweet! Love your perseverance and the ability to pick yourself back up against all odds. The best is yet to come. Rooting for you my guy!
This may just be the best Grand Finals I've ever watched!
I always forget how hype this set is man
Watching this on MoistCr1tikal stream was Insane! Congrats to Light, He did it.
12:31 what is that sdi on the jab ?! He went to the other side of fox before getting launched! Melee ??
This was the most nail biting set ever. I feel like everyone was giving their energy to Light.
8:49 - This is what being in someone's LITERAL BRAIN looks like 😂
I’ve never seen a fox as dominant as this, and so FRESH
You need to watch more light sets. He's been around for a while
I simp for this man and this just made it so much better .. congrats Light!!!
one of the best sets of ultimate ive ever seen
GGs to both, what a fantastic set. Super hype watching all of top 8 and especially this grand finals
As much as we all love light seeing Spargo lose hurt man, I really thought that this would finally be his big win. But he goes again, this set was literally 50/50, both players derserved to win. Plus this tornument proved to me that
A) Marss wil be the biggest fall on the PGR, shadow of his former self
B)Esam is the most inconsistent Ultimate player ever, he can beat anyone and lose to anyone.
Congats light, Spargo will win a major very soon don't worry about that
Lmap Jesus it's not that big a deal
I'm actually glad that Sparg0 lost this major, I think it would be a lot better if he ended beating Tweek or Leo to win his first major tournament
Fuck you mean shadow of his former self he got 3rd last tournament he is def still top 10
@@smithclaxton3357 I mean he beats Leo at Genisis, few months later there is a pandemic, he doesn't practice much as he focus's on becoming a content creator to pay the bills and now it seems everyone is a little ahead og him. He's my faviroute player, but how is he top 10 rn.
Tweek
MkLeo
Light
Spargo
Maister
Tea
Gluttony
Protobanman
Zachary
Void/Leon
Marss has lost 3-0 to Leon, he frankly hasn't gotten close to being Tweek or Leo, and he once agai got upset by an apponent (Tilde) That's now 3 big upsets in 2 months: Tilde, Leon and Axiom XL. I love Marss and I hope I am wrong but he looks very rusty at least because he hasn't practiced as much as everyone else.
@@dustinmartin6524 Leo is def above Tweek now
Just going back to this to say that this is easily a top 3 Ultimate set of all time and there's nothing you can say to change my mind.
Holy hell, first Kola and Hotashi and now Light? Man, Charlie’s assembling the FGC Avengers with his team
23:30. this is amazing. light short hop bairs at ledge all the time. he short hop baired. then full hop baired. knowing spargo would either spot dodge, or up smash. or if he rolled out. he could fast fall into dash up up smash. genius if you ask me.
seeing marss and vlight embracing each other like that is sooo nice
loved that he went straight to celebrate with marss, bromance moment
This set was insane. I recently picked up fox (again) after using him in Melee. Seeing Light isolate the weaknesses in Sparg0's play style was very interesting. Being a Samus main, it's frustrating to see that we simply get out paced. Another good thing to note of this match was the speed and frame traps used by Light. The pressure was very real. Good match to both competitors.
Those reads were very very real. A reality check indeed.
A cracked Fox is the most oppressive character in this game, I swear. So hyped to see Light playing so strong.
The fight and the climb light had to go through to get to the finals was spectacular. He put on a spectacle performance! As a fox fan, everybody can rest assure that light represents fox very well! I know dudes been grinding to become champ for so long but always fell short. Proud moment for all fox fans! Congrats light! Amazing performance!
Light is the Smash Ultimate Champion at Smash Con...
Sora comes out the next day...
I know now without a doubt... Kingdom Hearts is Light!
This set was absolutely insane. Watched it live and I popped off so many times. Light is an inspiration
Been rooting for light!
Love the fact he never match up hunts, he plays with his favorite character win or lose! F the meta! Let’s go light! Let’s go Yink mains! Yessir! #grind
This was straight Legendary to watch live. I really need to find a group to watch these with.
x2
Respect to marss my man lost to light and still was in the huddle gassing him up that’s dope
That second set was a nail biter, good lord! No matter who wins, the smash fans are winning big with these hype af tournaments. Good shit...
8:38 insane combo
R u being sarcastic
@@Atomicwaffle50 he shined then read the roll in... bro das not regular gameplay
@@Polycubism ohh he was talking about 8:48
@@Atomicwaffle50 nah that was just the combo finisher😳😳
In the end we still gotta appreciate how good sparg is. Mans is like 16 and he’s talking the absolute best to their limit. Think if your younger brother was just as good at you, at the game you guys play. Absolutely love it
It must be hard playing against the audience. Spargo is amazing... loved his gameplay
8:48 Tip for any fox players. 60% of the time this works everytime. For some reason people roll in on shine and do the work for you
"60% of the time this works everytime"
@@iamconfusion5323 math
Light deserved this win 100%. Went to so many game 5s against so many good players. Dude’s mental game is on point.
Goddaammmmnnmm game 3 had me rewinding so many times to watch these plays!! That shine when he hit the back of Spargo's shield was so big brain
Watching Light punish Up B out of shield is extremely satisfying. Watching Light parry on a platform to punish was also great.
Congrats to Light! 👏
Dude this match had definite butt clenching moments man🔥🔥🔥! Best set of the year so far! Congrats to both Light and Spargo for one of the best Smash Ultimate Sets I seen! AMAZING 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I enjoy watching Sparg0's Cloud the most!
Same, he's insane
one of the best sets of all time honestly, i was in hbox's chat and holy shit was this hype
I like how the crowd is more hype than the crowd in the game
😂
23:50 - I just noticed that Mabel in the background is actively watching the fighters (I guess specifically Player 1). But I think she specifically watches their feet. Look at her head wobbles when Fox is rapid jabbing at 23:54 :DD
