I was very fortunate to witness this spectacle after visiting Meiji Jingu! The talent and energy and creativity of these people are impressive! I wish the audience were more into it because the performances were so fun to watch and the hardwork that goes into planning and choreographing them is just amazing! I was standing in the middle of the crowd and the vibe on stage was infectious it was making me want to dance as well. I will visit Tokyo again next year only to see this exciting event! ❤
@@runnerjoe5466 I don't know how many, but I would say it was the best Honiya I received an award called the Genki Award. By the way, Yosakoi originated in Kochi, and Torakuchifure won the grand prize at the festival there.
