I like in England and for me my uni cost £12,000. But the uk has student loans so that covers it. We don’t have to pay back the loans until we’re earning over a certain amount & even then the amount we pay back each month is pretty minimal so it doesn’t cause too much of an issue. I can’t imagine paying £80,000 for a degree. That’s terrifying to me! Do Australians have loans for this? Or does it fall on scholarships and parents having college funds for the kid? Because even working a job alongside studies wouldn’t be enough to cover those prices surely?
I asked & it sounds like it’s pretty much a similar system like you have 💗 he said if you are a citizen you automatically go on those loans and then pay it back later on once you earn enough 👀 super interesting!
America is just unhinged with that😂 I couldn’t imagine how parents with normal jobs would ever be able to save that much money, especially for multiple kids 🥲
