      Honestly man huge respect for your game but I don't care if icm says it's a shove, no way in that particular spot is risking so much for so little worth it, if you raised and Villian 3 bet and you shove, totally behind that, but just open shoving with your ICM being so important just can't be correct

      actually this is a very complex question. I'm sure pure EV Pav is correct, he really is a top tier player with very clean thought process (considering ICM as well, since he is the one placing very big ICM pressure opn the opponent). On the other hand the move feels a bit out of line, but we might be misleaded by the result oriented thinking. For sure grows variance a lot but proibably highest EV.

    • @JJR0694
      @JJR0694 2 роки тому +2

      The eV is just such a massive assumption that everyone is playing correct ICM. What happens if theres someone who's overvaluing KQs or AKo behind, can't know that for sure. Huge risk, for marginal +eV is just a mistake

    It’s not a bad jam but you have such an edge with your skill level and understanding, combine that with the chip lead and it’s not worth it for you specifically. Idk if you can plug in your skill edge as well but I think it’s something to consider. Also you can’t assume people understand icm or are as disciplined as you are. Some people will call Q/Q or J/J there and idk if that changes anything. Your my favourite and I really do feel silly questioning your decisions but I know your a thinking player and it’s something to consider. Great score again Pav, congrats bro!!

    • @JohnJones-yk5qk
      @JohnJones-yk5qk 2 роки тому +1

      I agree with you expect the part where you say it’s not a bad jam, risking that much with 3 players behind and 2 of them enough to do serious damage, to win an amount that will make ZERO difference to your stack, also being chip leader and bully poker isn’t open shoving, it’s raising lots of pots , but open shoving 50bb looks weak

    • @ALLinPav
      @ALLinPav  2 роки тому +2

      actually, you can assume they have a basic understanding of ICM. and even if sb calls JJ/QQ, my jam is still better than mr. anyone else calling off and doubling through me is not a big deal. literally worst case scenario is SB waking up with QQ+ (and i block KK) and i'm still in it. unfortunately ppl focus on the worst case scenario, instead of all the EV in open jamming and folding out the AJo+ re-shoves on me.

    • @daltonlambert1409
      @daltonlambert1409 2 роки тому +2

      @@ALLinPav I completely agree with your analysis, it’s actually spot on and deduced with perfect understanding of the situation. This is exactly why I knew I was wrong but also knew you were down to earth enough to explain it to me. I think you’ve responded/hearted/pinned all my comments and it’s much appreciated. I think the only part I gave to much weight too I guess is random things like people not being as versed in icm as they should be/ are viewed to be, maybe someone’s on tilt and clicks call with J/J too quick before thinking out of frustration, and the fact that I truly believe you specifically have more of an edge than even you realize sometimes and I am not good enough to calculate all those things to know if you should take the jam weighing positives vs negatives. Considering your right about everything especially sb needing Q\Q, K/K(which you block) or A/A to call which is extremely rare for him to actually wake up in that spot with it, and you avoiding being jammed on by sb with hands like 9/9,10/10,J/J,A/K,A/Q,A/J, and maybe even A/10sorK/Qs when considering all those hands you make fold vs the almost impossible times he actually has Queens through Aces it’s the right shove. Thank you for taking the time to clarify this for me, I’ve said it before your my modern day super system but I learn way more and it’s free content. Thank you sir🙏💕

      @@ALLinPav we can all learn, you know in that position the shove wasn't needed, I watch you a lot and no way your folding QQ AK JJ to an open shove from the big stack bully, you do not make that move with a monster, why because you understand ICM and no one calls except KK QQ AK, so losing value. So at the level you play you polorised yourself to weak, k10 JQ suited low pocket pairs... love watching you but that move is basic poker relying that people are willing to blind out, you never do so why should you think everyone else will.
