Ringo had to play the drums twice as fast as you hear in the song. It was slowed down. So when you hear Rain, how technically proficient it is and then know that Ringo played it THAT fast, you can see how he was so proud of it.
It’s so hard to pick a favorite Beatles song. Mine changes everyday right now it’s getting better a couple months ago it was here there and everywhere and Eleanor rigby. Paul is a genius man.
I believe one of the main reasons Paul loved the song Julia so much is because he met Julia not very long after his own mother died. When Paul met John he had just turned 15 (his mother died when Paul was 14) and I am sure the pain was still quite raw. John had begun to renew his relationship with his mother and he would bring Paul with him when he went to visit her. Julia felt sorry for Paul and was exceedingly kind to him and did motherly things in her inactions with him. Paul really liked Julia (he has discussed this), so it is not surprising that this song held such a high place in his esteem. Art Garfunkel of Simon and Garfunkel, who had a more beautiful voice and sang songs with much more depth (Bridge Over Troubled Water; Sounds of Silence; Turn, Turn, Turn) than Sinatra, thought Here, There and Everywhere was the most beautiful love song ever written. A.G. in his own words: ''Here, There and Everywhere of all The Beatles’ records, this one truly intoxicated me. It’s beautiful in every way a song can be. What was going through Paul McCartney’s life the week he wrote this? You have to be in some kind of magical mood to come up with something this enchanting.'' He also stated: "If music can be defined as that which perfumes the atmosphere, then Here, There And Everywhere does it like no other single I’ve ever heard. It’s supreme.”
Great video my man! Although I found it funny how you said Lennon was critical of Got to Get You into My Life and For No One - I believe it was his 1980s Playboy interview where he praised those songs.

Didn’t know that!!! That makes so much sense now
