Sure those watts are awesome, but, shout out to Alyssa. Find a partner that will pin your race numbers on (oh and congrats on the engagement!)
She’s amazing!!! ❤️
Hope you come out to Bloom again next year!
Why did you but the Polygon but not the aeroad? The aeroad CF SL is like $4k and I think thats a bargain. Its also 7.8 Kilos without Pedals and stuff
partnership with bikesonlines i believe who is the only US retailer for Polygon
You met him on a street corner eh? Ben slinging more than watts it seems, haha
😂😂😂
you should link the Strava of the race itself as well!
EJ how can you do 410w normalized for a 1-hour crit but struggle to push higher than 420w on a 20-minute hill climb?
Normalized favors punchy riders like myself 👌 so a Crit with lots of punchy moments will have a high normalized power
Thanks for clarifying the front camera issues! We'll stop nagging now... We promise!!! 😉
🤣
What theeeeee hell… that street (in the crash) looked hella dark…. 😬
Right??? It wasn’t that dark lol
Crazy that the Bloom Flu got you. Did a road race the next weekend, down in Portland, and I can only speak for Cat 5, but it seems like more than a few of us, myself included, caught the worst illness I’ve ever seen
Sorry to hear! Hope you feel better!!
As someone who is trying to get into racing and lives in Portland, do you have any recommendations/advice on how to find some races?
@@robbyheiberg2091 best advice I have is to show up at Portland International Raceway around 5 on most Mondays, races start around 6. Tabor has races on Tuesday nights, but I haven’t done those, this is my first season in Oregon. OBRA has a full schedule for all types of events
@@Ejstrainingcamp How long were you off the bike for? I’m curious to see how to adapt my training program for sickness, so I’m interested in hearing your experience
@@KelvinSuddith For about 4 days, I usually let me whoop tell me how long to stay off the bike. It's really helpful!
Yo EJ where did you get the go pro mount for the polygon man I can't find one anywhere and the ones I ordered im pretty sure their lost in the mail 😂😂😂😂
On eBay haha
For what you had to work with you did very well and looked pretty good on the TT bike 😆 a bit small but not bad .
What was the elevation of this? Crit That can make a difference man your performance and definitely getting the right amount of rest and sleep. And of course eaten correctly
What a time to get sick , you made the best of it . Great video 👍
How tall are you, EJ?
And what size is that Aquila TT bike?
I’m 6 3 the bike is a 52
First first!
Let’s go!!!!
