Battling high seas and big smallmouths, legendary Great Lakes angler Steve Clapper took home the win in the 2007 FLW Tour Open on the Detroit River. In the event, Jay Yelas also claimed the Angler of the Year title, and Bryan Thrift beat out Andy Montgomery for Rookie of the Year.
