The scary thing is it seems very possible that’s the path he was trying to put himself on. And you’re absolutely right that making it far enough in that arena would have made him effectively immune from prosecution. The public will continue to watch. However, it probably be reduced in the bankruptcy trustee helps make the case that monies are being returned to investors and depositors. Right now they wouldn't factor it in because it was a hypothetical of what might happen down the road.

For those of you wondering… a federal prison sentence can be shortened by 54 days a year for good behavior. That means that he will serve at least 22 years.
