Well why isn’t Biden being held accountable for his stolen documents case? I mean, he took the documents as a senator and vice president (source FBI). Now neither a senator nor a vice president can declassify documents. Trump actually has a defense. Will it hold up, who knows. But the reality is that Biden has zero defense. The prosecution's entire case hinges on the testimony of Mr Cohen who the defense did a good job of discrediting.
Also, something that MSNBC never reported on was the testimony of the accountant. She actually testified that she put the payment through as "legal services" because she thought that was the best category and never actually told Mr Trump about it.

If a defendant has no prior criminal convictions, and the crime in question was not violent, judges almost always sentence them on the lenient side of the guidelines. He could get probation.

Trump's decision not to testify is an admission of guilt. The only question now is what punishment he faces, if anything.

Standard jury instructions say the opposite. The decision not to testify on your own behalf is no way evidence of guilt. Juries are instructed not to consider that.
I'm not a Trump supporter but I do support the constitution. The 5th amendment guarantees that no defendant has to testify

IF he is found guilty, it will be up to the Judge whether he serves time or not. The Judge will be held to certain rules and protocols here and can't just let him walk away if he has been found guilty. It will be then either a probation order, fine OR a custodial sentence; the latter being most likely due to the fact that Cohen served 3 years for a lesser offence. The Judge will be aware of that. I see Trump getting 1 year at least.
