It’s they turned into a park but saddens me I wish they kept the monorail and sky ride that would have been fun in the park, I can see since I was there in 1968 today they changed many things on the Hemisfair grounds I looked to see where had the lake for the water ski show with the boats, and the high pole where the Indian show rode around the pole. The Hemisfair gave me much great memories but after it was over the city took those memories out made a park and water falls. I wish they would bring the monorail back and sky ride.
What a place--and all after 50+ years. Surely it has one of the biggest collections of post-World's Fair structures. I love all the earth tone and muted colors. Does this place fit the geography of the area better than any other former Fair? The Tower would seem to be one of the underrated towers in the U.S. Thanks. 2-18-22. St. Joseph, MO (I'm 77)
I was there in 68 and it saddens me to see things gone I had some great memories at the Hemisphere with my Grandparents I’ll never forget and I thank San Antonio for putting on such beautiful fair.
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thanks for watching :)

Hemisfair is a very unique park with the Tower. I believe it's former days hold more memories for alot of folks. Thanks for watching :]
Too bad they knock down the via Fontana, midnight cowboy, and the Pearl blgs they used them for weddings, sweet 15 & 16 parties etc. Sad!
I'm not as familiar with those since only been here for less than 5 years. Sounds like some good memories :]
