I immediately tried it in a sparring session with a white belt, and was able to get a clean back.It's a good technique! Hi there. In the Nogi version you demonstrate, when hooking the left leg over the back of the knee, you shoot it deep to hook the far hip (like deep De La Riva). In this one it is shallow. What is the reason for this? Is it because in the no gi version the opponent is standing, so it allows more control over far leg?
