Thank you for this lovely video mickey. Must be hard trying to find things to film under all these restrictions and wet weather but u still managed to pull through an amazing video. I know this sounds crazy but im sort of glad there was a flood, as it made the video different.. different sights ( the drone shot on all the flooded surroundings) and different feels. I got to see what it would be like to be stuck in a jungle resort surrounded by flood waters, and how it would feel like. And of cos, the food looks so delicious.

I'm sure the jungle resort you visited is in Phanom district of Surat Thani province. Phanom means mountain. And the district is exactly mountainous, dotted with limestone outcrops. The district is a bit overshadowed by the stunning scenic beauty of Chiew Lan dam which is not far from Phanom and draws more visitors. Actually there are natural parks, natural jungle trails in Phanom. Yes driving westwards from Phanom you are entering another province, Phang-nga, facing the Andaman sea while Surat Thani's shore faces South China Sea. So the moutainous landscape of Phanom separates the two shores/sides of southern Thailand.
