- Thank you to Mia, with Bellies En-Route for this half day of downtown Cairo food tour.
If you want to go on the same tour I did, check the link below:

What I really enjoyed about this tour was of course the food, but it was more than food. It is about the people of Egypt, the history, culture, and blending of cultures. This tour helped me learn what is typical in household and every day life of someone living in Cairo. Mia has such a passion for the people of Egypt and showing that maybe Egypt isn't everything it is portrayed on the media, but instead should be experienced in person with the local smiles and love.
You got the best food guide mate .... She is awesome and has lots of knowledge about Egyptian foods

"This is molokheya, there are a few people who don't like it, we don't talk to them"
Yeah that pretty much sums it up 😂😂 had me howling 😂😂
I really love this tour guide I've seen her in a lot of videos she has a brilliant own way
btw I saw her once in reality with a family from Brazil in Sheikh Zayed at Arkan Mall, I was a seller at "Tortina" but unfortunately I couldn't make sure if she was or no, i wish I could see her again
I want this lady to take me on a food tour . I am coming to Egypt next week .
Those lil sausages with the Koshari ARE SOOOOOOOO GOOD
best taste of all foods.this is it baby
Egypt has some very good vegetarian food... impressive..
actually its rooted to the christian coptic culture, the optic fast days where people don't eat meat or milk
Egyptian food is amazing and amazing vegetarian foods. Most have zero meat.
This video needs to be recommended more!! Max always comes through with great food and travel content.
Wow! Looks amazing!
Man the editing is on point

Great food tour!! Could you please list the names of those places where you tried..thanks
بلدي الحبيبة 🇪🇬♥️
Welcome to our country Bro❤
The only thing you didn’t have is proper ful Medemmis. Not mashed.
Also there is a better place to eat kushary where they serve it with a spiced tomato sauce and topped with lots of fried onions (not shallots) and chic peas.
This dish is uniquely Egyptian and goes back to Ancient Egyptian times.
Mulukyiah does have a distinct flavor. I like it best over white rice.
This was a good video overall and makes me miss Egypt. ❤️
Ive been a huge fan of Mark Weins, ever since he first started out. However, he's gone a slightly different direction I haven't been a big fan of. I never comment on UA-cam videos, I just watch as for me, it's more of a "time to relax" after I'm done working or just before bed.
Max, I see you've probably found your niche. I've followed you for almost a year and now I'm commenting for the first time. The Phillipine videos have been my favorite so far. However, I see (with this video), you're going towards the "food travel" way and I'm liking it. But please, keep atleast some of "the people interactions" alive. In the end, the interactions with the people is what some of us really liked. We love to see the livelihood of others.
Much success, Rigo.
She's awesome. I wish i had someone like that in Egypt

If you just add pickled or fried eggplant , it would have been the heaven
I have a question
How do you guys keep your stomach okay or functioning while you are traveling and eating food from different countries. I am following your videos since you were in Pakistan and I was wondering how come one can try different street foods without having any stomach issues 😀
Do you take any supplements or probiotics
It's a pity you didn't list all the places you visited. Great video.
Even though I just finished my dinner, your video make me hungry, I`m putting Egypt in my traveling bucket, and hopefully I will be there this coming winter. Thank you and your sophisticated sweet young lady guide for this mouth-watering video. 🌹🌹
I like your video 😍😍
Hi Mate, nice video, which camera do you use for recording your videos ? Thanks

البنت دي ذكيه جدا والاكسنت بتعتها امريكي خالص في اول الفيديو كنت بحسبها امريكيه مش مصريه عاش عليها
Love a bit of gee
Reason why so many food UA-camrs are in Egypt is because Sonny's Egypt vlog made them looked so bad, they are inviting all the UA-camrs to make the place look better
Sonny was fine. He was just in a bad mood over his camera.
تمام جميل جدا ما اسم المطاعم وعنوانها خاصه الفلافل
What month In Egypt was this
you know how to enjoy food.
How can I get her to be ny Guide ? I'm Go visit Egypt.
Reupload?
Yeah, I decided to put it on my second channel
@@dailymax24 thanks for clarifying. I got excited assuming new episode! It was one of the best series. 👌
I m curious how they got introduced Ghee into their traditional cuisine? Ghee has its roots in India ..
Ghee is traditional Egyptian cuisine
@@elchagie in India we call clarified butter, Ghee.. which we make at home
@@NoMatterWhat27 the same in Egypt from thousands years , maybe it is common food for old civilization like Egypt and India .
❤❤❤ 🇪🇬🤍🤍🤍🇦🇪
What does the Quuur-aaan have to do with this video clip? Talk about mixing apples and oranges, lol!
How is the place in 14:35 called? Thank you so much
5:26 Egyptians love acid 🎉😂 that’s how the pyramids were built I bet.
This isn't music it's holy quran
Hows your colon bro after that tons of garlic
Egypt isn't really a culinary country. I could never mix various pastas with rice, lentils and beans, onions, despite all the sauces and condiments they heap on it on one plate! It's slop. If I went to Egypt, I think I'd stick to a more correct Turkish or Lebanese menu. Always found it amazing curry isn't eaten in Arab countries too!
Deguelas
This egyptian girl can speak english man dammit
French fries with taamiya ?! Woman, you're not good in the head...
I love Israeli falafel 🥙
