I gotta measure my back windows, uggghhh. I'm building out my Tahoe currently, on a budget, small budget lol. I'm removing all seats except the drivers though. Building one side of shelves so I can have one open and able to see.

I miss my Tahoe. Was a P.O.S that kept blowing transmission parts but it was a fun truck when it was running. Just didnt have the $ to build it out. Looking for a clean 2 door Tahoe now 🤞

Nice. I still like the Suburbans better, though. I can use all the space I can get. Lol.

Not bad. Only thing I didn't like was, the basket for me would have to be centered and the shower wrapped around it.

Nice! I really like these builds you do, and if one is focusing on more serious off-roading, I can see the short wheelbase and short of overhang of the Tahoe being a real plus.

Since my personal "daily driver" is a '99 Yukon I found this pretty interesting, thanks! It's been awesome for hauling kids, but since my girls are growing up, and 2/3 of them are now over 18 I've been toying with the idea of converting it at least a bit- First step would be to remove the rear seat which should be simple, but with a big family it's made a huge difference at times... I've also camped in it by myself as it sits.

Maybe since a Tahoe will be used by one person, use the smaller mattress which will give extra crawl or storage space on the opposite side. Also, I’m waiting for your solar panels to be on an adjustable track so that it can be angled one way for summer, another way for winter, and an in-between position for spring and fall. This will greatly enhance how much solar power you get. Another guy did a video of the angles and drilled holes in his tracks to be able to accomplish this.

I really wonder what it would look like with a twin bed that folds up, and on other side have a sink and stove top. I mean I am looking that this Camper and just thinking to myself, where would they cook, where are they going use bathroom, how would this work at all when it comes to living in. All I am seeing is a bed and a small light and wood that doesn't even look like there is any insulation at all....

I have an O4 yukon SLT that I love, my wife just found a 1999 Yukon Denali In super mint condition and wants to buy it, I'm a little surprised she wants something so old but the condition makes it desirable, do you think a 1999 would be worth getting or would you recommend the next style?
    Anyone's opinion welcome, thanks 😊

Have you compared fuel mileage before and after conversion? I have stock 265s on my 06 lt 5.3. I am curious what changing to 285s will do. I currently avg 15.2 in town and and 18.5 to 19 traveling. If I pull my 14ft enclosed cargo it drops to 10.5 to 11.5.......My wife’s 07 Yukon xl with 5.3 does the same. I really need to road trip over from Pokey and visit and buy a hat and shirt. Keep up the good work.

This has me thinking since I have a 2002 Tahoe with 243,000 (new transmission at 202,000), and the vehicle is a pleasure to drive. How do you schedule with those who live a ways away? Turn around time once you have the vehicle at your shop?

Got a couple of questions, what model of rooftop basket is that? Is there a limit on how much weight can be carried on the roof of one of these Yukon/Tahoe/Suburbans?
Also trying to order some merch from your website and I don’t see an option to select a size when I add a T-shirt to the cart. Is there more than one size available?

Since the Tahoes are not Suburbans ya really can't refer to them as "SUBOVERLAND", WHAT ARE YA GONNA CALL 'EM??? Put your thinking cap on! Seriously, I like what you were saying but right now, my personal focus is on Suburbans or even a van, because I want the extra space and storage… BTW, I really like the "design" (so to speak) of the cut-outs for your cubbies on this model. Y'all keep up the good work!
