What is Proteomics and why is it important?

In this first episode, Bioinformatics Scientist and Product Marketing Manager, Margaret Donovan, Ph.D., and Senior Director of Discovery, Research and Tech Development, Daniel Hornburg, Ph.D., talk about the importance of studying the proteome and some of the challenges researchers face. Proteomics research is enabling us to dive deeper into the molecular landscape of human health and disease, but researchers need access to the right technology and technical and biochemical support to effectively read and capture the sea of information and more lowly abundant proteins.
