Yeah I usually compare a couple of thoughtful cards in the store; there’s always at least 1 that comments on him always being there for us. I considered getting an elaborate paper ‘60’s car one that said “you can’t beat the classics” this year because my dad would appreciate the old school car, but I went with the thoughtful one instead. As funny as Taylor’s card is, my dad would not have gotten the reference. And that’s okay.

As a girl that misses her dad terribly it’s sad that many never had the chance I had to have the most loving of fathers who was the biggest hype man and greatest of gentleman to my mother me and my sister.
