- Princess Kate’s “heartfelt statement” about her health this week was “full of raw honesty,” according to Daily Mirror Royal Editor Russell Myers.
The Princess of Wales released an update on her health this week, where she flagged that she was hoping to return to some public engagements as she continues to make “good progress” following her cancer diagnosis.
In a statement on Friday evening local time, Princess Kate revealed she will be attending the Trooping the Colour event on Saturday in honour of the Sovereign’s birthday.
“It was full of raw honesty, I thought, talking about the good times and the bad times of going through chemotherapy treatment,” Mr Myers told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.

Kate shines, especially when compared with Megan, which is even a travesty to do.
Every time I hear people say the “Kate”, it makes me angry. She was known as Kate during school and in her working days. Once she became Princess, her formal name has been restored. Princess Catherine is now her formal name. When she becomes the Queen consort, she will be known as Queen Catherine.
