T yes the prices in Europe are way cheaper than the US plus vat tax refund. I went to Paris and bought the LV horizon 55 for $2000 cheaper. I was like the lady in the IKEA commercial screaming “START THE CAR” while running out the store 😂😂😂. Love the bag

Right! I was Googling in LV, like wait. Been trying to find my size for a year AND it's over $300 cheaper plus the VAT refund back. So mad I didn't have more time to shop solo, but the trip was about my mama, not me. 😭😂

Mom was spot on!! I actually flew to Madrid to purchase my medium Puzzle bag in 2020 and it was the BEST decision I made. Got it for such a great price.
It is so sad that people come to Madrid to buy this insted of visit Prado, Thyssen, eat cocido, hell even to watch Real game.

Karen Britchick has this bag in the same color and blue. They wear very well and she loves it! Your mom gets an extra gift this Christmas with her wise words. I shouted out loud when I heard the price difference due to you being a traveler. Talk about manifesting...and you weren't even looking. So glad you left Portugal with it.
I still remember my first and only purchase of a luxury handbag like it was yesterday 5/5/2015..lol.. it was the LV Artsy bag. I went to the LV store on Fifth Ave. in NYC I intended to get a completely different bag but fell in love with the Artsy which was also more than what I intended to spend, but I said to myself you're here, you LOVE it and you can afford it so I purchased it...I felt so warm inside and full of joy you could not tell me anything that day!! So I get it...yes was my happiness in that moment derived from a material item... YES!!! But also in realizing that I never thought as a child I would EVAAA spend that much on a handbag but I work hard, I got a bonus and I just simply deserved it and have no regrets!!!! Manifesting another luxury purchase soon!! 🥰❤️

I loved that you acknowledge Loewe! I also think that JW. Anderson was the real game changer here. Before him, there had been some efforts to update the brand, but it was still widely seen as bags that elderly Spanish ladies carried to church.

I love it. That is how I was acting with the Gucci Blondie bag. I like the 70's look and I wanted that bag but not at $3500. Went to Paris in July and bought the bag for $2200 after the VAT. Girl I thought I committed a robbery I got such a great deal. Enjoy your beautiful bag.

Loewe’s appeal is that it’s understated so you have to know the style and am glad they haven’t changed that. I have 2 puzzle bags that I love. Thinking of getting the elephant bag for when I’m on mom duty.

I'm glad that you went on and got the bag since the exchange rate is favorable to us. I've been buying bags in Europe since a teen in the 1970s as it has always been less expensive there than here for certain bags.
I'm so glad that Loewe upped its game and got Anderson on board. I remember Loewe way back in the day when it wasn't hip to say the least.
I have one small Puzzle in fuchsia and and both a true-orange-color one and a black one in medium. I also had a large one in black, but sold it as it was too big. The only one that's not pre-owned is the medium black one.
The price mark of the Puzzle has skyrocketed since my first one in 2019. I got the fuchsia one for $905. before the tax and the orange one for a little more. Both were pre-owned, but not one flaw anywhere on either bag. They looked brand new. That was before the Puzzle craze really took off and before folks were really into them like now.
Enjoy your bag and remember to buy what you want. Different people have different ways of spending their hard-earned money. Some spend it on expensive cars. I live in the land of expensive cars, but choose not to have an expensive one. But, I prefer really good handbags and long overseas vacations. Different strokes for different folks.

You’re so eloquent in all you do. I just can’t get enough of your channel. So glad your momma talked some sense (cents) into you and encouraged you to buy the bag. Love the history lesson as well. I felt this way about my Chanel Classic double flap that my husband purchased for me over 10 years ago. It still looks brand new because I’ve carried it all of 5 times. I was so excited to get it. I gotta say this was the best...I love a good history lesson, I'm all about the history and love bags from old fashion houses...and like a mother review said, your contents amazing.. I adore a good story keeps me engaged and your funny as hell.. Just info you didn't ask for, but here it is.. I was looking fora small puzzle , accidentally got the classic or medium size, not a bad thing for me because it's still feels small enough.. AND it has the feet, gotta love feet!! mine is basic black, 'cause that's the way I roll. The one thing you did point out and it is sooo right... subtle , classic..no overt logos.. Don’t worry about the ageing. The Puzzle is my most used bag and years later, looks newer than those I’ve worn a quarter as much. It’s the best bag EVER. You could basically run it over with your car and it would bounce back. ENJOY!

I too have been looking at this bag for about 3 years and finally took the leap last week. I purchased it from a popular big box retailer for a marvelous price using my employee discount. Picked the medium in the exact same color. I love that the medium has the feet. Read somewhere this bag is being discontinued and the Loewe "edge" puzzle will take it's place. I hope not.

I can't wait to get back across the pond next year during sale season. I got super lucky earlier this year and caught a large Ferragamo Studio bag in a light blue color for 950EUR, which at the time was about $1250 USD, in Charles de Gaulle Airport on a layover. This bag still retails for $3,500! I still smile at that purchase when I think about it. It's the most I've ever spent on a bag but definitely has set the bar high. Lord, please be a fence and let me get my hands on a Chloe saddle bag this holiday sale season in Miami 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I got my Loewe double flamingo bag for about $2300 in Paris compared to $3900 in the US! A big time win!!! The double bag reminds me of bottega clutch, but the Loewe bag is more interesting with the 2 tone and shoulder strap. Plus it’s the softest, most supple, buttery leather!
I love your new Puzzle bag. I purchased the mini in multi forest green, lime green, tan, and off white from Fashionphile in excellent condition. It's one of my favorite handbags. After I purchase the small Puzzle and the Hermes picotin I will be in purse heaven and its a wrap for me. This was a great video and thanks for providing the history behind Loewe.

LISSSENNNNN JW Anderson is THE ONE you hear me. He did the thing with LOEWE. I absolutley agree that he did for LOEWE what Daniel Lee did for Bottega. The puzzle is THAT BISH. I first saw this bag back in like 2018/2019 and OMG I fell hard. Its one of the bags that never fallen out of favor for me. Im looking for this bag pre loved specifically because I want the older version with the metal feet and the different strap. BUT LISTEN the way these prices are structured: my heart and my wallet hurts. And I actually really love the slouchy nature of it so thats a big pro for me. Im so so so happy you were able to add this beautiful piece to your collection. Its incredble!

Hi Tashira! I completely understand the contentment behind handbag purchases. I haven’t bought a new luxury handbag in probably over a year or two. I absolutely love my collection! I purchased years ago a few bags that I never thought I would have including the old standby‘s like the Vuitton speedys and neverfulls And a couple of classic leather Vuitton bags as well. Obviously I am Vuitton girl through and through. And I think what took me over the edge is when I had a special bag made by Vuitton that contains my initials the monogram and black leather as opposed to the Vachetta leather. Oh I absolutely love that sweetie it fits everything I need and it was made just for me in Paris. I don’t need any other bags. I mean I have a few other classics like a Fendi baguette and a Chanel lamb skin bag and of course Balenciagas. But I really do think I have gotten to the level of purse peace. I can only see myself adding new luxury bags only in the occasion that they’re very very very special. Plus the prices in the streets are astronomical!

I was so happy when I went to Paris in August. 1st time that Euro was so close to the dollar! Got some luxury sandals marked hundreds less than US and got that VAT tax back. They even got me on the way out at the airport. Snagged a belt I wanted! I love your bag! I love it in that color.
