A mini iPhone fits in that back pocket which I love and also I have the small in both leathers and the smooth leather is suprisingly tough - I have zero scratches on mine. In fact the smooth leather is thicker and the slouch is a bit less as the grained leather is more supple. Best bags ever
Loewe has always been for luxury insiders and its finally it's starting to get the attention it deserves. I recently got the small in black and it's the only bag I want to you use. It's practical but still chic. I'm considering a mini in a lighter shade.

Great review! I have an old model puzzle in stone blue with SHW (love the feet on it- not sure why they removed them on the new ones?). I just bought a small gate bag in caramel and pecan and it is equally as luxe as the puzzle. I love using my Loewe bags- and I rarely spot another one being carried by someone else when I’m out and about.
I have the small and the mini. If I had only one then I would have the small because as you stated, it’s perfect for everyday. The mini grew on me…it’s the perfect bag to wear when you don’t want to feel the weight of a bag on your body. It’s quite pricey for such a mini sized bag. My only regret is selling other small puzzles that I purchased for half the price they are now!

Hi Connor, understand that Loewe is removing their old line of puzzle bag and replacing it with the edge type. I was told that the edge is rounder as compared to the old version. What is your take on that? Have you seen it in person? I hope to get the old version now seeing that they will removed it from the line for a grey colour but not available except the new version. I’m struggling g to not use it and I have a lot of bags. It’s already one of my favs. Now I want other colors as well. Im Thinking about the mini but afraid it may be a bit too small. The small size is sooo roomy!

Their smooth calf is quite generous as there is still a grain :) it’s not delicate like lambskin with Chanel for example x
