Ditch the Leupold scope and put something on with a parallax adjustment that goes at least down to 25 yards. Then get a better rest and your 457 will likely tighten those groups up.
I humbly disagree. Scopes without parallax are designed for closer than 200 yards. The issue more at hand to tackle is the bench setup being more stable and not removing the head from the cheek weld during the grouping. The last group shot is good evidence of no parallax issue as it is a very tight group and the others a consistent with a pulled shot or a flyer. Parallax would have shots dancing everywhere.
@@DavidBnks02 I need to build a steady platform, currently, they are hand laid stones, wonky/uneven, hence the short table and not so ideal shooting setup. Rifle is fantastic. i probably can do much better with a better ground/platform setup. may be in summer.
Depends, if this is the rimfire variant of the 3-9 VX Freedom then the parallax is set to 60 yards and is perfect for this type of shooting. I do agree about the bench...
@@thisandthat1080 We work with what we have to use. I was at a local range and I just sat the gun flat on my hand and still shot a .32" group at 25 yards. For rimfires you plan on hunting with I find the need for an ideal bench setup not needed and gives me a more realistic accuracy I can expect when shooting. But I will say these guns are extremely capable seeing as the CZ 457 MTR is the same as our gun with a different stock.
Nice man. I think I'll be ordering this set up this week.
I once had a457 CZ It loved Wolf match extra ammo! I hate to say this but my CZ shot almost as well as my 1710 Anshutz. It was a fine rifle.
I have the exact same rifle/scope setup and love it a great combo 👍
So do I!
Is it possible to shoot at 200m with this scope? what ammo do you recommend thanks
that things shooting bulk ammo very nicely

Thanks for the suggestion.
