My wife's at work and I had nothing better to do before work tonight, so I pulled stats from the video. First series against Birmingham saw 31 total pitches; 29 KN (22s/7b) & 2 SL (2s0b). Second series against Biloxi saw 43 total pitches; 32 KN (23s/9b), 7 SL (4s/3b), & 4 4SFB (4s/0b). Four seams were effective once they were thrown, the only contact led to an infield fly. You threw a knuckleball 82% of the time, and it was put in play quite a bit. Recommend diversifying the pitch selection for sure. The motion is modeled after Kimbrel, but I'd say follow his pitching M.O. as well: get ahead with the heat, sit them down with the breaking balls. You're experiencing Tim Wakefield Syndrome right now. Either the knuckleball dominates, or it becomes batting practice; there really isn't an in-between. In the grand scheme of things, it IS just a video game and completely unimportant, but I'm also a Braves fan so I want to see S. Johnson make it to Truist Park 😂
As someone who primarily does pitcher RTTS, the control and break minigame although tedious. The higher levels will incorporate your other pitchers and be harder to hit as you approach level 5. Loving the mini series, would love to potentially see a dual series upload for 24 with a batter/fielder and a pitcher.
Like you said, K’s help you level up quicker. I would recommend using a 4 seam or cutter as your primary pitch, and then use the knuckle/slider off of the primary pitch.
You have to remember.. yes you’re getting perfects. But the accuracy on some of your pitches that state “perfect” is like 65% - 80%. You’re not going to hit the exact spot unless you’re 100% -perfect
You should consider turning the strikezone off. It makes it a lot harder to make sure you’re throwing strikes and makes it more realistic in my opinion
The knuckle ball isn't represented as well as it has been in real life the past 10 or so years. For example, RA Dickey said he used to throw 2 different knuckle balls; a hard 1 and a soft 1, 1 had more control while the other had help from the wind. Now that I'm typing this out, that may be an interesting thing to look at. See if Slider has less control of the knuckle ball on windy days.
To get the diamond knuckleballer easier you'd have to play as a starter. You could make a new closing pitcher afterwards and keep the diamond level on it. Also lucky coin is a good ritual item for relievers.
Mix your pitches up you throw a knuckle all the time. Only throw slider once or twice a video and never a 4seam. Mix it up you'll be harder to hit off of
come on man even u gotta know u keep throwing the same pitch in a row they'll eventually time it up use the slider and fastball more to either get u into 0-1 0-2 counts then use knuckle or vise versa u would have a lot more SO if u mix it up more even pros don't throw the same pitch all the time in a row batter will get a hit or a HR sooner or later JMO!!
I just hate how you throw the same pitch over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over not even trying to pitch effectively
You’re getting hit because you actually moved it up to legend compared to your other videos hahaha but it’s better this real a 63 shouldn’t be striking out the side each time
30 - 40 minute videos of this series is definitely a must, I love how this is going so far
100% we need that

I speak for everyone and yes we still enjoy it

Please keep doing more of these, they are very entertaining and fun to watch😊
Please please start throwing different pitches
Arm strength makes your fastball velocity increase
It most definitely does not. It only affects fielding.
Digging the series Mighty
Same

Mighty maybe in 24 you should make a two way player like Ohtani is so you can pitch and hit and yeah triple uploads would be great.
Toggle your attributes and see all of them
Mighty...u gotta mix in ur other pitches, not throwing just ur knuckleball...
5:37 it says edge strike in the top left corner 😂😂😂
I have a 90 overall SP knuckleballer. The knuckelball doesn’t really break any different at 90 than it does at 55.
I’ll watch longer videos too. Appreciate the content 💪🏼
Battle tested gold perk is insane, i just tested it and my knuckleball moves so much more now.
Get some good sequences in there! One at bat the guy was all over your KN and you gave him 3 in a row
Thanks Mighty! I love your videos! Keep them coming!

He's having a hard time in double a without giving up runs and getting hit why would he do that it don't make sense
I definitely would not mind longer videos loving the videos!
Yanno.....velocity affects speed
Love the series so far!
30 - 40 minute videos of this series is definitely a must!! ❤
The best mlb the show channel on youtube. Keep up the great content
Longer episodes would be great, keep it up

Dude, at this rate, you'll be playing for the Utica Unicorns.😂😂😂😂
Yeah I would love to have the longer videos they would be good for when I am at work
Fire
When you keep throwing meatballs down the middle, of course they will hit them lmao.
That glove is OD
Od?

Do a two way player next year
Gotta have a pitch rotation for lefties and a different one for righties.
The show 24 you need to be a catcher its such a good change for pace.
Knuckleballs were never meant for strikeouts tho. It was a pitch designed for ground balls and even weaker fly/liners
Get the axel grease ritual item. It gives you h/9, k/9, break, and velo
Mix your pitches up you throw a knuckle all the time. Only throw slider once or twice a video and never a 4seam. Mix it up you'll be harder to hit off of
More uploads and longer videos!!!!!!
45 min videos of slider johnson bet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never use level 4 perks like break IV, velo IV... You lose points in something. In I through III you just get pluses and no negatives
Slider needs to get called up already
you should have a knuckle fastball and screwball
Do more and longer videos
I don't think he cares that yall telling him to mix up pitches or he would have already 😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Slider johnson = Shohei babe Ruth
I wonder for a closer role his stamina is high besides that why does this looks so easy it doesn’t play like that in franchise mode.
Do triples uploads

I just hate how you throw the same pitch over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over not even trying to pitch effectively
Why does he look like he’s made of spaghetti?
Please make them use
You keep throwing knuckleballs. Set it up better
You’re throwing the same pitch the game is gone pick up on it and they are gonna start getting hit change the pitches up
U get too excited to record thats funny bro relax😂
I think you should keep the videos between 15 and 20 minutes.
You’re getting hit because you actually moved it up to legend compared to your other videos hahaha but it’s better this real a 63 shouldn’t be striking out the side each time
