I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!

It's gorgeous! You might want to check out Rinske Doune for big flowers. She did a series about a year ago on large canvases. It's a different type of bloom but they are stunning. I'm taking the course on it but have not started it yet.
