The 4chan rumor you discussed was the most realistic and possible rumor I have heard yet. I would squeal like a giddy school kid if the BW Collection turned out to be a thing. And I would probably buy both versions… because I’m lame. LOL
That press conference was put forward in 2018 because of the fact that it was said that Pokémon company does not trust the switch to succeed. So once it blew up the investors needed to know if pokemon is coming out on the console or not. So instead of a press conference this time around from pokemon, Nintendo is going to drop one toward the end of the year for the new switch. With pokemon legends za and Metroid prime 4 the main focus and what they are betting on as launch titles
It would be sweet if Gen 5 would get the “Legacy Collection” treatment because that would mean that the Pokemon Company has learned from BDSP and Game Freak does not want to mess up their Crown Jewels.
I think its plausible especially now with legends game being potentially in any region no order. now gives rise to a solid legends game in unova jn gen 10 or 11. Khu i think dosent have a source anymore. I personally think bw isnt happening at the point

I think that the idea that Pokémon fans don't know what they want is a misunderstanding of what's going on. Pokémon has a massive fan base made up of hundreds of millions of people with diverse opinions. Most of us have combinations of both popular and unpopular opinions. There are going to be vocal supporters of any given thing, which will make it look like people are changing their mind left and right, but for the most part it's the same people asking for the same things, and being dissatisfied when that's not what ends up happening. And then there are people who don't have strong opinions on certain things, but will still speak up in more mild defense or opposition, depending on their leanings one way or another.
I am in the camp of people who doesn't care for faithful remakes, and would prefer something more to the tune of HG/SS or OR/AS over a BD/SP style game that doesn't really change much. If this rumor about the ultimate collection is true, I will be disappointed, and I might skip it altogether, but anyone who does want that sort of thing will be happy, and a chunk of them will be vocal about their feelings of appreciation. It's not an issue of people not knowing what they want, just different people wanting different things.

I would be better off with anime graphical ports in hard copies. The Ken Sugimori and Kouki Saitou art styles and designs are great for having plenty of fun content.
I’ll have to wait and see the design style for myself, but in theory I would love a remake/remaster. I like the idea of bundling 1 and 2 together. The only thing I didn’t like about let’s go is the catching mechanism. It annoyed me I couldn’t battle wild Pokemon. Everything else sounds really on point. I think for Arceus we also had an announcement in Feb, a trailer in May, and another one in Sep. So the timeline sounds right for that.
I remember there were thoughts about ties to Kalos in SV closer toward when the game first came out. The greyed out area of the map of Paldea where there are trainers near by that use the Gen 6 dragons. People thought naybe the DLC would be going to the Kalos region since Spain's proximity to France.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Khu works for Pokémon and / or game freak and is at their mercy for what he can release. Watch once the promo season ramps up, so will he.
They also used the name ikkaku because gamefreak also messed up their Bánkaî! : D
There are a few things you are forgetting about movies. 1 is the marketing budget. It's not apart of of the production budget. Detective Pikachu had a marketing budget of 100 million. Adding that to the 150 million production budget. It cost 250 million in total.
The second thing is that when movies make money. Half of that goes to the theaters in played in.
So Detective Pikachu actually had to make 600 million to start to make a profit. It was kind of a flop at the end of the day.
I personally believe that all the Pokémon Unova remake rumors are false and as much as I want them to happen I just don’t think that will be getting black/white anytime soon and while we’re on the topic I HIGHLY doubt that will be getting any of the classic Pokémon titles on NSO.

@@dylanbanning we are getting them this year they haven't released a game for this year yet and I highly doubt they will skip it and with all the trusted leakers sayin they heard from their sources that B/W remakes would be this year that's to many things adding up at once we are getting them I promise
Just give us the base Kalos starters and give them Megas, the fact they didnt get mega in base X & Y was astonishing. Same with Xerneas and Yveltal they also deserve megas

The mario movie budget was indeed 100 million dollars to make. Considering the sequel is coming out in april 3rd 2026. I imaged the budget is going be a liitle bigger but not that much. Plus you got remember this Detective pikachu come out during the avengers endgame hype it could have make a little more but it was still success for legendary & TPC. The mario movie was plan to come out on dec 2022 but was delayed to april 2023. Likely to finish up the movie & avoid avatar 2 release during that time.
I thought the issue with Lets GO was the simplified gameplay?
black and white collection would be a severe disappointment for me. I would rather they just release gen 1 and 2 for switch online for november and sunset the switch pokemon and use the extra time to do a reimagining of the 5th gen games because black and white on next gen and fix all the issues og black and white had. where story was fantastic but majority of the game was super lacking. triple battles and rotation battles sucked. only 150 pokemon no bro bump that up to 400 reimagine the map to be more modern.
The problem with lets go pikachu and eevee was not the graphics that was the best part about the game. its the docked gameplay was garbage. it was tolerable in handheld mode but otherwise total garbage controls were horrible and just made the game unplayable.
BDSP on the other hand gameplay was fine it wasnt the gameplay or artstyle that held it back was it was too faithful to the point they even put the worst parts of the game in there. some of it was fixed by platinum bdsp is bad because of design choices in the past that should have never been revived like the DP routing in which platinums routing was so much better.
Going through each of their teams multiple times just to make the video longer is so😭
Getting the GB & GBC Pokémon games doesn't do a lot for me. I'm much more interested in getting the GBA Pokémon games on Switch!!!

ORAS was not the same as RSE... I would buy a alternate mega universe BW game. I won't buy a chibi remaster bw/bw2 game.

People didn't like BDSP because they removed a bunch of stuff and it was extremely buggy on release. Some people didn't like the graphics, but lets not ignore the rest of this. Also, if they make a "pixel remaster" of black/white, that'd be the laziest thing. It'd be the worst.
Oof no that detective pikachu movie is really bad. Like really bad. I’d say it flopped. Anyways a remaster of gen 5 would be so cool. But i would hate they didnt even updated the pokedex to include all the evolutions for gen 5 pokemon or any gimmicks or regional variants. Can’t we just get all 1000 pokemon? How hard would it be to program 2D pixels? If small content creators could do it so can TPC (highest grossing company ever)
