I was a protestant ministers wife for 24yrs and involved in organized religion for 30. I saw the underbelly of "organized" Christianity and believe me there was no light there. I had a true spiritual awakening in 2020. I too had all her books and angel cards etc. I had the same inner knowing as you about the man she hooked up with. I could definitely see it in her eyes and energy. It was very sad to see and agree with your analysis about what happened. She got taken down by unseen low vibe forces...but with Pluto moving into Aquarius in 2024 The religious "good old boys club " is going down. The Divine Feminine is going to be in charge and the corrupt religious, political agendas will fall. Yes keep listening to your own intuition and guidance and stay connected to the light. I followed Doreen Virtue for years and bought a lot of her cards. I was shocked at the abrupt turn around for her and felt that she had been basically brain washed and being controlled by her husband. She gave up everything she had learned and believed and it was sad. I love her archangels book and only someone with a strong connection to the Divinity could have written this book it's so detailed. It is a great loss to the Spiritual community that she is now no longer part of it.
Yes someone who shared so much light was targeted by the dark. She's been brainwashed and manipulated into lies, cult mind. Hopefully she can wrangle herself free and find out she's been hypnotized and deceived and coerced into cult beliefs.

To avoid being embarrassed to the public, she disappeared and reinvented herself as a BAC. She was told by some dark people that she had to denounce what made her famous and rich or she would be exposed so she chose Christianity, to keep her wealth. My 2 cents. Religion does not want any of us to believe we have divinity inside, which we surely do. If we have divinity inside, then we don't need to "depend" on organized religion. If we don't depend on organized religion, we are "ungovernable". Religion is a tool for CONTROL. I don't need religion or Jesus to know how to do the "right thing". I know what that is all by myself, and with my internal divinity. Also organized religion, from way back, CRUSHED women. We were "witches", "unclean" or any variety of those terms. The fact that any religion thinks theirs is the only truth is mindblowing to me. Each region of the world has their “version” but not seeing it’s the same source we’re all talking about. Have you considered - bit like diamonds - that something (one uniques thing) can be genuine and UNIQUE and the ONLY REAL thing - with a host of counterfeits. How then is the concept / belief that there is only ONE true God, and HE gets to stipulate the conditions for coming to Him, a concept that you find unbelievable? Must ALL be right? If material things can have counterfeit, couldn't the one true God and His way, have several opposers and enemy tactics against Him and those that would come to Him [i.e. the devil] deceiving the minds of many to believe a lie and that counterfeits are also genuine? Just imagine - if you would - THIS fact, and your whole perspective could change to a more critical thinking view. May the one true God, Jesus Christ 'the way, the truth and the life' enlighten you. There's been a lot in the world that turned out not as we assumed plus IME the energies here are getting stronger which makes it so our weaknesses get more exposed, no more hiding the shadow self as easily as before! Also if she has gotten more power in her life over time as far as with finances and influence, that has its own set of challenges and temptations. Perhaps she's straying from her former direction for these reasons but sometimes people have to explore a path for a while before they realize it really does not feel so good and does not lead in the direction they had hoped. She may eventually turn back from it over time.
Thank you for your video. I completed courses with her early in 2000, and met her when came to Australia. She radiated light, and her intent was a generous one. Her teachings helped me on my path at this time. She was then with Steven Farmer. When she became involved with this Michael, she was rescuing all these animals and living in Hawaii. She started selling off her clothes and accessories, and then changed dramatically. They both left Hawaii suddenly, so what happened to all the animals she professed to help? A lot of them were rescued from Hawaii. My impression is, that when she went through a 'baptism' in the water with her partner and some other male (leader of some church), that some nefarious entity took over her body. She doesn't even look the same, or is the same energy as before. Even if someone decided to change direction, to obliterate her (good work) she has done in the past, is very odd. Agreed, that’s what I felt about her shift and detachment from her past work. The gov is obsessed with these types of spiritual practices- almost all technology emulates spiritual practices in a crude way. I believe she may have been either pestered by agencies. Or, she just wanted to do something completely different. I got the same weird vibes re: Michael. I didn’t care for her involvement with him. Perhaps it was for her safety? Or for control purposes by other organizations who mistakenly feel threatened by others.

It is most certainly a fear-based control system. We met many lovely people over the years, but their "love" was conditional. Questions regarding decisions the pastor was making got us moved to the D-list real quick. And we were not asking fellow parishioners, we brought our concerns to the elder board and pastor. Thank you for this video. I was not that much of a follower of Doreen Virtue but even I found the change she underwent very strange. I have a number of her oracle cards and they resonate more than others they speak with me and there is no denying Doreen has a special gift. I just pulled up her astrology chart to see if I can find some extra information. The first thing I noticed is that she is a double 11 in numerology, her day of birth adds up to an 11 and her life path (all digits added together) again adds up to an 11. So the spiritual path is clearly indicated for her. I don’t know anything about her partner, but at the time when she changed away from „new age“ she had Uranus transiting her Mercury. Uranus being unexpected changes and Mercury our mind what we speak about how we understand subjects how we communicate. So that makes a lot of sense. If she was corrupted it’s hard to say. She also has her north node conjunct with Neptune. While this can be another indicator of her spiritual mission, Neptune also is deceiving its unclear and we cannot really see. So it might be very confusing for her to understand what is right and what is an illusion. Personally I do not feel (and I have my own spiritual gifts and claircognizance many a times) that being into spirituality (I dislike the term New Age) goes against believing and or following Jesus. Even Jesus himself was taught a lot of this knowledge during his younger years (he studied with the Essenes) so it’s in no way contradictory. If she would have evolved organically I could understand but the way she now discredits everything that she did before is very strange to me. I do not trust that. However I do think that Doreen herself believes it.

what i heard her say is that the Reiki is bad and blasphemous . I know alot of people that got into Reiki and did not know how to handle the energy - I have several masters --- I taught people that seemed like naturals, i did not charge money and i stayed away from the groups. I am not a christian.

Like many people I followed Doreen for years. She was full of light until her transition where you could see the physical change in her, obviously in spiritual and emotional pain. It felt completely off and I could no longer continue watching her podcasts any longer. Sad turnout.
So sad for people who go from a place of love and light and using the gifts we were given by God the source to preaching sin, satan and fire and brimstone. News flash: all writing, like all creativity is downloaded. The difference is in how clear a channel the human downloader can be. Nothing special about the bible in that regard. yes same here, my wife and I used to communicate with "light beings" they turned out to be demons. Turned to the true Jesus Christ that died on the cross for our sins and rose the third and we were set free of them. It is a false light deceiving people for sure. Matthew a tax collector could count & so was likely to have been literate, as would have been Luke, a doctor. Paul who wrote most of the New Testament letters & book of Acts was a Pharisee, a scholar. Jude & James, brothers of Jesus, would probably have been literate like him. (Jesus studied & read aloud the scripture in the synagogue etc). John & Peter lived into old age & would have had time to become literate.

The question is….the Jesus that Doreen saw and “saved” her was the real one? We know dark entities can wear a costumes and depending of the people’s ego…are gonna be real or fake. Maybe somehow she gave permission to something else to take the control over her. Honestly her attitude goes completely against the unconditional love….and Jesus is unconditional love. I think she has been “hacked”.
I agree, if she were just promoting Jesus and his specific verses it would be one thing but she is promoting medieval dark ages condemnation of any spiritual belief she personally disapproves of or no longer resonates with and to me, that is not the way to make people feel the love, mercy, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

I became totally confused by her message. Throw out my cards? The devil is working on my mind? I have since seen this John you mentioned. Just watched his video for a few seconds before I shut it down. Very dark vibes. He is everything that bothers me about someone who has "reformed" and expects everyone to find Jesus, quit alcohol, stop smoking, become a vegan -- whatever. They believe their truth works for them so if you're doing something else, you're wrong. I guess what I'm saying is I think I understand what you're saying and it makes sense to me. Unfortunately, judging by some of the comments, there are a lot of people who see their path as the correct path. They don't understand we can all be headed the same way just in different vehicles. Following christ isn't a religion. You can definitely be in church for 20 years and still not have the truth. Not all churches speak the truth and teaches the gospel. I'm so glad you made this video. I've thought all the same things. How tragic that someone who taught love and empowerment was so internally fragile. If she wasn't, she wouldn't have fallen for the brainwashing that she did. Sending her all the good vibes that she returns to Love. And maybe someday, we'll read a new book by her that tells her story of being seduced by the dark side and her journey back to the Light.
I'd just like to point out here that dark is not always bad, and light is not always good, and to assign these values to them strengthens the idea that dark-skinned people are bad, that female people (associated with darkness in most cultures, e.g. the yin-yang symbol), are always bad and that polluting the night sky with light is the way to go, because darkness is bad. How can darkness be inherently bad? When you look at the night sky, do you think "This is evil"? Or do you think, "This is where everything, including me, comes from"?

Great video. Thank you for sharing this. My hit is similar to yours. I feel that she has been influenced by this man. That said, two things come up for me: one is that her energetic match to this man is a contract. Somewhere in her in 'step out ' of the oath she was clearly on. The other is that sometimes the forces that be/ were in their attempts to maintain control introduce an irresistible force. Blinded by 'love' or perhaps obsession, she cannot see his true nature as she has come under his spell, or one cast over her by another. I have dealt with 2 men in my life where this was the case. Once I empowered myself to recognize what I was dealing with (after the first one,) the second was easier to detach from. However, the second was possessed of a fallen angel, and his energy was very seductive. I considered it an initiation, which I successfully navigated, with the help of my own guides and Higher Self discernment.

If there is a “God” who is separate from us and who has all power and omniscience, then technically speaking, he is some evil genius sitting in his basement, looking at a computer screen with us living on it, and when he sees bad stuff happening to us like starvation and disasters, etc., h is laughing and just thinks it’s entertaining. Also, in that scenario, it would mean that someone created that creator. Who created him? I think it’s much more likely that Hinduism, the oldest faith in Earth, which has the oldest religious texts in Earth, is correct. Everything is made of energy. Us humans are all made of energy in a sub-atomic level; together collectively, our energy creates our reality which we experience and learn from. There are “gods”; good ones like Shiva, laxmi, and Ganesha, and there are not-so-nice ones (tricksters) like Yahweh if the bible, but none of the are the ultimate creator; they are all like regional leaders, or masters of certain realms. I didn't "follow" Doreen Virtue, but do have some of her Oracle cards and found that they were of the Light, containing positive and inspiring insights and messages to help people connect with their own Source energy. I was shocked and disturbed to find that she denounced all her good work, calling it "of the Devil," and knew that something felt "off." I still feel that turning to religion is turning to the dark, as most religions encourage people to give up their power. Christ said that we could do everything he could do plus more, and didn't want followers, but encouraged us to develop ourselves. Very unfortunate that Doreen turned away from herself. Tough to see someone with such a bright Light take a dark path.
Trust me she is right. She was born again. It happened to me aswell. Jesus died for your sins. Seek after after him and ask him for his holy spirit so you can see the truth.

Having experienced the Jesus Saves movement in the 1970s, all I can tell you is once they a vulnerable spot the tirade begins. There is no only one way but it is too uncertain for many to accept. There are many people formally saved who find themselves completely disillusioned and, unfortunately, never believe in anything again.
Omg! Thank you for this!!! I had a very similar journey. I did her Hawaii writers workshop in 2010 or so and it was amazing. And have been a huge hay house fan for years and have all her books and cards etc . When I saw her flip the way she did and saw the new version - she literally looked like a completely different person plus she divorced herself from her own work after marrying this man who reached out to her on Facebook. I even wondered Omg what if she’s a walk in now and it’s not even “Doreen” anymore. Def not the same person at all. I felt so sad when I saw her new version. It doesn’t bring peace or joy at all for me. And I grew up Catholic. It’s not the religion- it just doesn’t feel authentic. It’s like she’s possessed. She said in an interview once how badly she wanted to be accepted by the 700 club (Christian broadcasting network) in her early days. Looks like she got their acceptance now. I’ve seen this happen with people in my life - they connect with some controlling and energetically dominant person who “owns” them and they are never the same. Very scary stuff. Even more reason to give out love and light and healing energy on a conscious level 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Looking for Oracle cards I came across Doreen Virtues statement about her wrong path and some preacher. I'm a total beginner in terms of spirituality and the community connected with this way to see life and the world. So kind of an outsider 😊 but while watching her video message and the preacher's lecture I turned my back on it because I feel it's all going into a negative way to tell me I'm a sinner and bad. People who are really interested in something for example the bible they know that this book was written decades after Jesus died and the translation is not accurate and parts were deleted etc etc. I'm not religious or new age but there are some statements I remember from Sunday school - before God we are all the same, God loves all of his children, we are part of God. So if you take these statements as a parameter you don't need a book with rules and people who tell you what's good or bad behavior and scare you. That's all power play always was. I find it very interesting what people say about NDE. Bottom line: believe in yourself .☀️
Hi. Your video just came acrossed my youtube. Oddly, I have seen two others go through this change just recently. As you said, I felt something off; like it was orchestrated. A year or two ago, I kept having "V for Vandetta" vibes. What you said about 'sourse light' 'christ consciousness', ' living by love and kindness' to me, is spot on.
One of them is Molly right? Housewife of Tarot? She’s now changed her name to Housewife of Truth and quotes the Bible word for word. I’ve never resonated with the Bible always feeling it has been manipulated and have been a practicing Catholic until 4 years ago. I had the most amazing experience after I decided to leave the church. I literally heard a booming voice coming out of my chest saying ‘I’. It was so powerful, it shook my body to the core. All it said was ‘I’ and I’ve never had an experience like that since. God is within us dear brothers and sisters. He is not external in any book.
My observations during the 'transition' were that she has a history of choosing unfit partners and the recent/current one happens to operate as a covert influence.
She made this shift a few years ago. At the time I was confused but the more i watched her the more i realized shes doing it for money. And because something happened with her where the people she was close to began to shun her.
I'm sorry but none of this makes sense. Do you guys really not realize how much money Doreen made from her former way of life? If someone admits to making plenty of money off of something yet is still willing to let that go, that shows integrity. I hope it will help at least a few people to realize that she has changed for the better -- asking people to stop buying things that gave her tons of money is a genuine change of heart.

Someone I know said, "God created me and the devil created religion" to keep us separated. This is the first I'm hearing about Doreen Virtue. I never followed her but I have one of her books. And you are absolutely right.. They don't want you moving forward. Everything we see going on in the world is there to distract us and keep us in fear, anger and in that separated state. Thank you for sharing your reflection, I've had my thoughts too, but now practice the "let it go" 🙂 - I too love my deck cards, and the books I have on my shelves and for me the inspiration from her, was "perfect timing" on my journey. I decided that her material that is is in my house stays, it's in my energy and I still enjoy the inspiration when I allow it. But I had to "let her go" when she changed! The behaviour was such a dark emotional experience to so many people, and Hayhouse suffered a lot! But could the mirror in all this be, that it was an ideal part of her "blue print" to first grow the understanding of healing work, and then kick ahead the awakening into a new level? If so, then we have to be very grateful. Since her change of journey, I've followed other great people of which interestingly, most are her former students, who have moved to the next level in their work. I assume we all find our "path" as the reflecting beings we are, walking on this beautiful planet while implementing our individual level of "Christ Consciousness", each in our own pace as we are forever evolving like any other being in the Galaxy we belong to. We are all eternal beings, and we are definitely not alone in this universe. Any incarnations of our guides, are still around, and for sure someone are taking advantage of being in power! It happens all over, above and below! But humanity are on a new steppingstone of understanding forgotten history, who we really are, and what the heck is going on! The universal laws of free will, the right to choose, and the power in saying No, is where we have moved to of today. So many things are going on, what we see is covering many layers of invisible wisdom and the fights going on, are a part of evolution on so many planes that we can't really grab it. This is where religion is and has always been a "box it til you get it", but again also an easy manipulating environment. Beautifully said! I too keep Doreens Angel cards. Her book Healing with the Angels I gave away to someone who needed it, after I got my synchronistic message from my Angelic team, through the book. Once I had read the book all it did was to reawaken what I already knew in my heart. It does not matter who the messenger is, as all are used by our Creator to show us our paths. I too wondered what happened to Doreen Virtue. I also watched a recent video of hers..it was a 180 degree turn. All I know is that angels are light, they are love.
Your take on this is the first one I've heard that really makes sense. I definitely have spent too much time feeling confused and even betrayed by her. There is a LOT I have to say about how it all went down and the amount of people who never received refunds, etc. but the possibility of something happening to her intentionally (however it happened) seems very right on. Thank you for posting this because I never got closure with it and played right in to the confused, upset, disempowered vibe that you described. I promise you that if you read the evidence for Jesus' existence and know that at least that part is real and pray for him to show you he is real, you will turn to him. Jesus is real. Once you have a supernatural encounter with Him you're changed and you can't go back to the darkness. God quite literally changes your heart and mind profoundly to eschew sin and love what He loves. What Jesus gives you is far more precious and helpful on a spiritual and physical level than anything this world can offer you.
The difference is that you are relying on yourself and your own “consciousness”. Christians (not “religion”) recognize that we are sinners who need a Savior. Our Savior is Jesus Christ. The Bible says that no one comes to The Father except through Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Believing in Him as Lord who came to die for our sins is the gift of eternal life with God in Heaven. Our focus is not on ourselves or what we do. There is no way to earn salvation. It is a free gift and all you need to do is believe it and trust in Jesus. It’s very simple. God’s two greatest commandments are 1) Love God and 2) Love others.

Never followed her, nor any new age rituals. I was a Catholic and went to Buddhism, which is what resonate with me and my purpose. But I read some Hicks so I know a little of this. I stumbled upon a video from D.V. and I got goosebumps, but not the good kind ones. She is heavy, very heavy. Stuck. She can cite by memory all the chapters and paragraphs of the Bible ( I wonder which version she is on) including the verse, which display an obsession, almost like that's all she does all day. This type of attitude is the same that we in the west openly criticise when we refer to the Arabs and their study of the Q'ram. Fanatism and obsession are extremes that won't save anyone.

She seemed to get more fear based and kept taking more and more animals and then abandoned them because they couldn’t care for them. It just got more and more bizarre. I felt like you did that the partner presented with a controlling, dark energy. It was a weird shift. I remember thinking how awful it was because so much of her work was focused on providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for people to heal and explore. Then turned on the people that followed her work and presented a shaming, fear filled energy, telling people they were wrong in what they were doing because she made a change in her life. You can take any path you want but when you have millions of followers you have to be carful and responsible. Being a therapist she should have known that could be really harmful.
Spot on...the word non-judgmental is the key here. The thing is that New age Christianity has had such an affect on people and is fclearly promoting fear, fear of being left behind or refused entry to heaven.......NO ONE can stop anyone from going to Heaven for it is our home, it is where we came from and so where we return to.......the only person that stop you from doing anything, will be yourself!
I tossed all her cards. Darkness took her. I have a very good friend who changed in the same way. She went back to the Catholic Church when her only child died, soon she was telling me my angels are demons, that the world is flat (that one threw me) etc. I think she was so totally depressed when her beautiful son died that dakness was able to move in and take her over.
Respectfully, I'd like to comment on yours. A very dear person told me that if I'm having trouble connecting with my guide and all that my guide taught me because I couldn't agree with the way they lived their life, then it's a ME problem. The advice and guidance I received was meant for me regardless of the source. If it helped me then it's meant for me no matter what the person is going through as we both have our own individual and unique journeys and purposes. This approach might assist you in reconsidering all the times DV's cards would've helped you or for any such thing in the future.

Very interesting. For some reason, I have been led to learn about this woman today. Wasn't searching for her, but I watched a video where she was mentioned and now this. I'm newly awakened and I think the danger is looking outside of us in ANY context for spiritual guidance. Never been a follower of religion, because I see how dangerous it is, but even in the spiritual community, people fall into the trap of finding people to "follow". I'm hesitant to take any classes to learn how to do anything spiritual. We all want to be part of a community, but the confusion you are talking about is always what is inevitably created. I personally believe that if she was influenced by dense energy, she was an energetic match for that in some way shape or form. Maybe I've been brought here to show me the dangers of proceeding without working through personal blocks, because I have some things I need to work through. I've been working on it and it gets frustrating that I'm not there yet, because I want to move on, but spirit is saying, "no, no, you aren't over this yet. Be patient with yourself". I think following teachers can be really helpful, if they resonate with us, because we can learn a lot that we otherwise wouldn't, including how to work through personal blocks. I think WORSHIPPING teachers and believing they can do no wrong and we must follow them instead of our own inner guidance-- THAT'S where the danger is. I'd encourage you not to let the danger you rightly identify keep you from learning things that might help you. The thing is to use your intuition for guidance on when a teacher is the right one for you, and even if they are right for you at one time, when that time has passed. Also, teachers do not always come in human form. Is a teacher helping you strengthen your own connection to your own inner guidance? Then that's a teacher worth following, at least for a while. Is a teacher telling you that you have to do it their way and no other way, to do what they say and nothing else? That's a good time to walk away.

When Doreen told people to throw away her cards and books as being evil, especially the Angels and Ancestors deck, I promptly ordered it right away 😂 The cool thing is that a couple weeks ago, I drew from a few decks in one sitting, and Jesus came out of my Keepers of the Light deck again AND out of her Angels and Ancestors deck. Doesn't seem evil to me!

I remember feeling the same way about the man that she kept bringing attention too. I believe he was an artist too right and did artwork on some of her cards? I love her books about Angels; I love her cards. I also felt confused for about a minute and then I thuoght to myself, "Wow, we all have our own paths to go down, and you never know where your path will take you." I think it's a true mystery. One of the first "spiritual tools" I had was a deck of her angel oracle cards & I loved them! I bought those in 2016 & then in 2019, was drawn to learn tarot, as a way to help me develop & learn to trust my intuition. I too felt that the total narrative shift that Doreen went through was very strange & "off" when I found out about it. Yet what I've come to understand, is that when someone reverts back to organized religion, it is either through fear, or some sort of social pressure to conform in a particular way. Regardless, they have something to learn if the draw to return is there for them. I didn't know she was in a relationship, but it sounds like that man may have had some sort of influence over her mind & her heart.. & romantic partners tend to. Maybe familial expectations in some way. However, I wonder how someone so connected to angelic realms, would feel pulled back to conform & block that off & call it demonic or "of the devil". Personally, I grew up going to church & it was in my late 20's when I went through my very first awakening, that caused me to question a lot of things I was taught or told to believe & it took me on a journey, where now, I have no desire to return to organized religion, & the relationship I have developed with God, has allowed me to heal things beyond what I ever gained awareness or understanding of, by applying typical church-related guidance. Even my son at 13, gained his own clarity around organized religion, not influenced by me, yet it perfectly aligns with where I am now at 39. It definitely is a bit of a shocker though, yet also not all that surprising, when that "off" feeling is validated, because I'm no stranger to it mySelf... so many times over the years an off feeling about someone's choices & behaviors has been confirmed. or just their energy, because I can read people's energy though their photos. What I've noticed from a pattern perspective is, that the ones who are pulled back on their path into organized religion, are very often influenced by external "forces" & it's been the case every time that I know of. Someone has "gotten to them" to the degree of instilling some form of doubt in their mind & they end up surrendering to that doubt from a place of fear. Yet Doreen will learn what she needs to learn in her own time. Finally, I think it's odd that certain things or practices are considered "new age" & I feel like the term is applied a bit recklessly. Tarot, for example, while often viewed as demonic by organized religion, actually has roots in Judaism & you can see the influence throughout the cards. While I'm not saying that there aren't dark influences out there, it really just depends on the person & I feel like in Doreens' case, it would have to be someone external to her that led her back into conforming, when she had so much angelic support in what she was sharing with the world. It does make me wonder what exactly happened, what was said or done, that caused her to make such an extreme shift, because if you have so much angelic guidance & protection in your endeavors, then they certainly wouldn't guide you into something to make your life's work, then be like, "sorry, this is bad for your spiritual health, go back to church!"...
Another person made a video saying that he thought that Doreen just realized that New Age was a niche market,and that she could reach a much larger audience and nake more money promoting conventionally Christian matetial. Its also been mentioned that her current partner is Christian,and,that might have influenced her.

Perhaps she’s a woman who could not hold her own energy in a relationship, and aims to keep her ‘man’ happy…. She’s sold her soul to stay in the relationship…. Happens very often… I cannot take her current persona seriously… I love your perspective and very much agree. Religion is man made, our light is divine.
Does Doreen Virtue still collect royalties on her books and cards?. On reading her books there were messages from the Angels on how to treat nature which resonated with me YET I noticed that Doreen actions did not match the messages such as using pesticides and asking angels to bring her flip flops back in the sea while on vacation . I believe that no matter what spiritual leader or guide seeks notoriety none of us should follow like sheep. We should use our own inner guidance and hold the highest intention for ourselves. Always ask the question does this individual walk the talk?,.
They are no longer in print, by Doreen's request. She is always urging people to destroy materials that they still might have in their possession. She also warns about bootleg copies being circulated around.
Christ said he didn't come to unite... but to divide by Truth. You either abide by Christ (Truth and light) or you are in darkness. It's easy to be tricked when you dont study the bible for yourself.

Dear Stephanie, there are so much I would like to write you personally. I was so pleased and relieved that one person thinks as I. You are a great soul. About Doreen, I simply loved her. I'm not a medium but I have an acute intuition. My love of all the divine and angels grew throughout the years. So when I came accross Doreen's work, new age or not, I connected instantly with her words, her loving way to help people and of course, I could not pass buying everything that helped me even deeper on my faith. So it was a shock when I came accross ''her sudden change'' and was even more shock to see on you tube how much people who followed her have burned all of her work to go with her... But those work of hers were and still are good ! Doreen now praise the way of Jesus... but I'm really sorry... Jesus (and I'm strongly positive about what I'm saying) must be deeply saddened by the path the poor soul of Doreen is going. Jesus is not the only one into this. God, Jesus and the holy spirit (the Holy Trinity) is what is really the matter. And Doreen has always been on the right path. My fear is that she is actually turning people around in their beliefs and they are becoming screwed up and lost. She is undoing the good she's always done. I stopped drinking alcohol and come across Doreen's work Angel cards .I was really in to Crystals too .I few years back I came across a interview with a ex satanic high priest . He was also an ex freemason .He spoke of all the cards Crystals etc explaining that they may appear as light good practices but they are indeed Occult practices. The devil appears as an Angel if light does he not. I am know a born again Christian .I wondered what had happened to Doreen and then I watched a video on her testimonial on being saved in 2017 . There is plenty of research on this old eastern Occult practices out there for research. Best suggestion would be to read the bible and ask God for directions. All those Occult practices will kept you from having a real relationship with God .Doreen has apologised for her works and repented for them ..May you see this world of false light for what it really is and find your way back to the father.
I met her years ago. Nothing she told me came to be. She was working by rote. I will say she was a good writer. But in person, I think she was doing it for the money. Her heart was not in it. Now, I know nothing about Michael. He was not there when I met her. But I do know someone who turned to Christianity because of a man in her life. She, too, denounced all her former work. Women, do not let men take you from your truth.
Interesting how I came across this video - just popped up in my suggestions! I am glad to talk about this. I loved Doreen Virtue back in 2015 - 2017 ish. Listened to her radio show on Hayhouse every Wednesday. Bought her books , numerous cards and took her card reading course. Around 2017 she said she had a "vision" and it scared her. She said she saw tanks. Also around that time she had an encounter with Jesus ( as she describes). She talked about never having been baptized. She also had a newer husband named Michael. He was more 'christian" than her. Suddenly in 2017 (or 2018?)she dropped everything. Renounced her own cards and books and wanted her name off them. She did a video about her leaving new age and blamed "new age" ( pagan) for everything wrong in her life. And now she makes a living on her 'testimonies" about the dangers of new age, crystals, tarot. 🙄. It felt like a punch in the gut. Many ppl, including myself, demanded their money back for the course from hayhouse. She had a rescue farm/ranch with many animals and abandoned that. Many ppl were also angry at her at the time for scamming them for donations to her rescue ranch. Her energy was way off!!! Nothing made sense. It seems like her husband may have had something to do with it. It felt like she was going backwards. Religion is going backwards. The Divine Feminine was erased and she was erasing herself as well. I felt like she was somewhat codependent. This relationship may have pushed her back. Her energy now is so patriarchal and controlled. The christians eat this stuff up and I'm sure she is profiting from them now. I have mixed feelings about her now. Sometimes I pick up her cards but I don't feel good about them anymore because it felt like she left with such anger and aggression. She calls them demonic like all the christians who try to control women, in particular. I agree with you that division is the goal. Maybe she was a plant all along to pull people away from themselves to a darker and controlled space? I don't know. I no longer trust most people in this arena, and especially anyone who claims to channel. Some are genuine, most are just repeating phrases and claims from others and asking for money so you can eel better. Maybe she was one of them too.🤨
I totally agree with your assessment of what happened to Doreen Virtue! The last time I saw her was at the You Can Do It Summitt in Baltimore back in 2013, and the man with her I felt was very stoic and stuck energy looming over all of us, excited to get an autograph; at first, I thought he was playing his role as a protector spirit like Arch Angel Michael, but now looking back you are right, he came into her life to cause more separation in the spiritual community as we enter into the Age of Aquarius, Oneness and letting go of categories in religions. My sister is a strict Born Again Christian and, for some reason, felt my talking about the angels working on me was unholy and not in the Kings James version of the bible, and now she quotes Doreen Virtue. I found Doreen her last year on UA-cam and meditated with her everyday. My physic path was going great. All of a sudden she is gone and saying bad stuff about her work and she won’t be doing angel work anymore.??? What??? I was shocked! I haven’t found anyone who can guide me through meditation like her. Very sad😢😢😢😢
Nickie Allen the real deal. She into the arch angels and seems very authentic. She also on Utube and does meditation. I did a course with Doreen and found it to be very lame. Was the card reading course. Was mostly about selling her book and the cards. And the drama, the way she and her cohorts all dressed was ridiculous. It all was very materlistic.
This was a great video. I can relate to what you said about following Doreen (having her decks, books etc) and then wondering what the heck happened to her when she did a 180 and denounced all her prior work. When you follow someone like that and they’ve made an impact on your life then they kinda go off the rails …. You really want to figure out truly what happened to them. I agree with your observations, especially the energetic ones.
Having been part of the New Age movement for years, to then realize that it is in fact a religion, it is all about “self enlightenment”, Doreen Virtue’s shift is simple, she found the true living GOD, the Light of world. That being said, I do agree with you, her turn was agressive, yet I understand as a now follower of Christ, the clarity brings you on your knees. A wonderful place to be.
My thoughts on it….new age practice ? Just follow your heart with Love and what feels good to you in your heart. Jesus is about love, but Doreen Virtue seems now about spreading fear based christianity which I don’t think Jesus would approve of….
Hi! I follow Doreen Virtue. I was saved this past year. I watch her content. My thoughts. I think it has hit her deeply how great her son was bc she had such a huge following that she feels the magnitude of trying to reverse the damage caused. She also feels the heaviness of her sin and I think it shows. She takes her faith seriously. She’s big on repenting and having faith and following God’s laws. I don’t believe she believes that works+ faith= salvation. I could be wrong, I just believe she believes that works are important. She really loves repenting but so do it. I found myself more rigid once born again bc I was so scared of slipping back into new age sin.
Doreen’s mother was a Christian Scientist. Doreen’s own New Age teachings evolved out of the tradition she was taught as a child. I can’t pretend to know what has happened in her life, but this is the impression that I get…I think she never had full confidence in what she was teaching, and she never succeeded in doing the really deep healing work that authentic spirituality requires. Because she became a prominent New Age figure, she had to ignore her doubts and uphold her image, and this meant she wasn’t living in personal integrity, which puts a lot of pressure on a person. I think that likely destabilized her, her doubts overwhelmed her, and she became vulnerable to great fear and existential crisis. Fundamentalism offers a neat solution to such a problem…just follow the Bible and you’ll be saved. Again, I’m only speculating, but that’s the vibe I get. I don’t think that anything nefarious necessarily went on. But if there was some external influence, she was clearly already in a position to be vulnerable to it.
Thank you for this video. I was very hurt when this switch happened and felt abandoned. I even stopped using her decks and gave away her books. My late friend told me at the time that she thinks Doreen got caught again in some kind of addiction as she has been addicted to substances before. Later I realised that this switch also caused a switch in me to work on my feelings of abandonment and co-dependency. The switch also made me turn to my intuition and rely less on other's take on things. I became more self-assured and started turning away from the gurus and leaders and believing more in myself. So I hope Doreen is okay and I'm grateful for her teachings while she was in the light.
I was never a Doreen Virtue fan but I saw one of her earlier days video and I remember thinking how bright and luminous she was. Then I saw her after the change, and the energy was so different, dark and heavy, almost creepy. I don’t know what happened to her but it’s nothing good.
If you are searching, just give Christ a chance. It’s only fair to give him a chance, like everything else you’ve tried. Open your heart. To receive lasting peace, we need to be willing to lay everything else down and expect to be humbled. so if you're in the New Age, just give him a chance.
Yes! You have totally hit the nail on the head. Spiritual growth has been dumbed down for years and Doreen had too big a following to be allowed to continue on her path of awakening people. Your comment was very similar to mine. Doreen became a connector of people, she woke people up to another side of our life that is unseen mostly. Many people already had these types of feelings, some of them for years and they realised this, when they heard Doreens messages of Love Hope, and Healing! That is when it was apparent that there was a very potent awakening that was happening. And so it was stopped. The thing is.....in truth, it was too late, because the seeds had already been sown and now those seeds are now plants that are taking form and starting to grow and standup with their heads held high looking towards the Light! I also followed Doreen.. I am a Therapist. She had a stroke and it was a right brain hemisphere stroke which renders a person unable to make informed intelligent decisions. I was so Sad when she started her spirituality bashing campaign. I know her daughter in law was a devout Christian. She mentioned it many times. Her son was also a medium but gave the practice and his gift up for his wife. It hurt her, you could feel it. But after the stroke she changed. She then denied the stroke but if you look at pics of her at one point you can see the left side of her mouth suddenly has a pronounced droop. Thanks for this! I needed to hear this support today. I didn’t realize she had a stroke that would explain a lot I just thought she might suffer from Narcissistic Personality disorder or some personality disorder she was always going on about herself especially right before the conversion to Christianity she was going on and on about needing money and it was all me me me. Something seemed strange to me, too.
You can always listen to her testimony on her channel if you really want to know what happened to her. She was saved by Jesus Christ who died for our sins to save us from death. Divination is a sin and she has repented for that which is why she tried to remove all her ties to New Age practices.

Yeah, I noticed she changed after she moved from one island to the other one & started that big “animal rescue” ranch. (Can’t remember if it was Maui to Big Island?🤔) Anyway, I genuinely wonder what that move was truly about now…the details are fuzzy of why she said she decided to move because it’s been several years since I listened to her. Doreen says now that her 'Gifts' were not gifts. Anything but. Demons show up as Angelic Beings or Guides to fool people. Yes, and the only negative energy there is is FEAR. YES Stephanie, I totally remember that Michael dude that she was with, and I too felt that dark energy. She almost seemed "taken over" by him. I too followed everything, especially the angel work. I still have all the oracle decks and I still love them. It was a difficult thing to hear her proclaim overnight that this was all the devil's work. I also just read on her FAQ section that she still makes money from her previous work, and says it all goes toward her enormous back taxes from all of her profits. Makes me wonder if this "Michael" got her into financial crisis. And yes, it was a bit disturbing to follow her teachings so lovingly, and abruptly hear her say, now its from the devil. Thank you Stephanie, your video just showed up in my you tube feed, I agree with everything you have said here, im a new subscriber, the hardest part for me about Doreen's shift was the animals and what became of them, for a long time new animals would show up on the ranch and a lot of the stories she was giving out just didn't seem possible, like the gang of baby piglets who were travelling to slaughter escaped and came onto the ranch themselves past the electric fence, similar story with the kittens she found on her ranch, when things got out of hand and they were struggling for money still more and more animals were being admitted to the ranch, then she said they had all gone to rescue but people were asking her which rescues are you using to help you and she just wouldn't give a straight answer, and as far as we know she never has said , but I did see a video of her trying to sell animals, as for her spiritual work, her books and her cards she was my 1st choice, but I could always see these 2 sides of her character running parallel 😢
Well firstly, you're very pretty. Secondly, I agree with just about everything you said, except the part about Doreen being compromised. I think she's just on a new path after coming to some realisations about the 'new' age. I say this because I, along with many others, are on a similar path. However, the path many others are taking, as you can see, is running straight to Jesus and spouting the typical 'Jesus is the only way' stuff. I am certainly not one of them. I am not religious. However, after about 17 years involved with new age teachings and practices, now at age 36, I have come to the realisation that much of the new age is unfortunately deception. I didn't want to believe it, and resisted and ignored it. But the signs kept presenting themselves, and eventually it all broke through and changed up my worldview, and left me shocked at the unbelievable intelligence and cleverness those in power really do have. Long story short, this all happened around the time I started a path towards channeling and actually attracted beings that did some terrible things with me without consent, while masquerading as the light. This is when I broke down crying and asked God (not Jesus or anything biblical) for help. Then I suddenly discovered Doreen for the first time and how she transitioned, along with many others on a similar path that were waking from this deception. I realised there's truth to what they're saying. But like with just about anything in existence there's always a middle ground. I have come to the conclusion... New Age = Deceptive bubble Religion = Deceptive bubble Materialism = Deceptive bubble One thing that makes each bubble so deceptive though is when you start recognising the deception of one bubble you then just move to another bubble while falsely believing _now_ you have the truth. It's just another bubble.
While I certainly agree that all 3 of the things mentioned can be a very deceptive bubble, have you at least given the Bible a bash? (Excuse the pun 😅) It's really a profound book and in essence Christianity as explained in the Bible promotes a living breathing relationship with the creator far more than it promotes religion. From what is written in the Bible it shows that Jesus actually had very little tolerance for the teachers of religious law and a lot of grace for folk like prostitutes and corrupt tax collectors etc etc. It's worth a read, but I'd start with the New Testament. Up to you, but that's just my 2 cents on the matter
@@SweetPeteUnleashed I have started reading the Bible actually, and the Qur'an since I dated a Muslim. But I'm making very slow progress because I just don't feel that passionate about them. I'm avoiding looking to religious people or anyone for interpretations though. I think much of this is regurgitated without a proper in-depth understanding. Like with any traditions, I believe they are tainted by misinterpretations, misunderstandings, mistranslations, the Chinese whisper effect, lost transcripts, intentionally altered with propaganda, etc. I know Doreen has some arguments against this, but I don't buy the idea the Bible has been immune to all of these. Nor do I believe there is only one particular book or one particular path to God. There is always a way with or without access to a book or the ability to read etc. In saying that I've recognised at the same time there's propaganda to turn people away from religion as well, such as Zeitgeist, which did get me at first. Then much of the channelers I realised were talking to beings only pretending to be good. These beings are exceptionally good at this and I experienced it firsthand, which really helped me wake up to the new age deception. All in all, I'm taking a middle path and not subscribing to any group.

I followed Doreen Virtue for years and bought a lot of her cards. I was shocked at the abrupt turn around for her and felt that she had been basically brain washed and being controlled by her husband. She gave up everything she had learned and believed and it was sad. I love her archangels book and only someone with a strong connection to the Divinity could have written this book it's so detailed. It is a great loss to the Spiritual community that she is now no longer part of it.

It wasn’t her husband. It was her greed. She was consumed with it and her husband and oldest son contributed to that themselves. Hayhouse caught her being too greedy and let her go. To avoid being embarrassed to the public, she disappeared and reinvented herself as a BAC. She was told by some dark people that she had to denounce what made her famous and rich or she would be exposed so she chose Christianity, to keep her wealth. She’s doing the same thing but with the Christian religion and adding more fear. Whatever her truth is, I hope she finds it. My 2 cents. Religion does not want any of us to believe we have divinity inside, which we surely do. If we have divinity inside, then we don't need to "depend" on organized religion. If we don't depend on organized religion, we are "ungovernable". Religion is a tool for CONTROL. I don't need religion or Jesus to know how to do the "right thing". I know what that is all by myself, and with my internal divinity.

Have you considered - bit like diamonds - that something (one uniques thing) can be genuine and UNIQUE and the ONLY REAL thing - with a host of counterfeits. How then is the concept / belief that there is only ONE true God, and HE gets to stipulate the conditions for coming to Him, a concept that you find unbelievable? Must ALL be right? If material things can have counterfeit, couldn't the one true God and His way, have several opposers and enemy tactics against Him and those that would come to Him [i.e. the devil] deceiving the minds of many to believe a lie and that counterfeits are also genuine? Dark energy and fear overtook her. Look at her eyes now. She spreads the fear of the dark agenda and has turned on the light. I met Doreen in 2012 and had all her books and cards for years. She radiated pure light then. Her older teachings still mean so much to me. She’s just not herself. Thank you for making this video. We should all pray for her to find her way back to her true self.
There's been a lot in the world that turned out not as we assumed plus IME the energies here are getting stronger which makes it so our weaknesses get more exposed, no more hiding the shadow self as easily as before! Also if she has gotten more power in her life over time as far as with finances and influence, that has its own set of challenges and temptations. Perhaps she's straying from her former direction for these reasons but sometimes people have to explore a path for a while before they realize it really does not feel so good and does not lead in the direction they had hoped. She may eventually turn back from it over time.

Thank you for your video. I completed courses with her early in 2000, and met her when came to Australia. She radiated light, and her intent was a generous one. Her teachings helped me on my path at this time. She was then with Steven Farmer. When she became involved with this Michael, she was rescuing all these animals and living in Hawaii. She started selling off her clothes and accessories, and then changed dramatically. They both left Hawaii suddenly, so what happened to all the animals she professed to help? A lot of them were rescued from Hawaii. My impression is, that when she went through a 'baptism' in the water with her partner and some other male (leader of some church), that some nefarious entity took over her body. She doesn't even look the same, or is the same energy as before. Even if someone decided to change direction, to obliterate her (good work) she has done in the past, is very odd. It says a lot about this situation. So many people were so hurt over her actions. These actions are not from any light source. Thanks again for speaking on this subject.

Thank you for this video. I was not that much of a follower of Doreen Virtue but even I found the change she underwent very strange. I have a number of her oracle cards and they resonate more than others they speak with me and there is no denying Doreen has a special gift. I just pulled up her astrology chart to see if I can find some extra information. The first thing I noticed is that she is a double 11 in numerology, her day of birth adds up to an 11 and her life path (all digits added together) again adds up to an 11. So the spiritual path is clearly indicated for her.
I don’t know anything about her partner, but at the time when she changed away from „new age“ she had Uranus transiting her Mercury. Uranus being unexpected changes and Mercury our mind what we speak about how we understand subjects how we communicate. So that makes a lot of sense. If she was corrupted it’s hard to say. She also has her north node conjunct with Neptune. While this can be another indicator of her spiritual mission, Neptune also is deceiving its unclear and we cannot really see. So it might be very confusing for her to understand what is right and what is an illusion.
Personally I do not feel (and I have my own spiritual gifts and claircognizance many a times) that being into spirituality (I dislike the term New Age) goes against believing and or following Jesus. Even Jesus himself was taught a lot of this knowledge during his younger years (he studied with the Essenes) so it’s in no way contradictory. If she would have evolved organically I could understand but the way she now discredits everything that she did before is very strange to me. I do not trust that. However I do think that Doreen herself believes it.

Like many people I followed Doreen for years. She was full of light until her transition where you could see the physical change in her, obviously in spiritual and emotional pain. It felt completely off and I could no longer continue watching her podcasts any longer. Sad turnout.

yes same here, my wife and I used to communicate with "light beings" they turned out to be demons. Turned to the true Jesus Christ that died on the cross for our sins and rose the third and we were set free of them. It is a false light deceiving people for sure. Matthew a tax collector could count & so was likely to have been literate, as would have been Luke, a doctor. Paul who wrote most of the New Testament letters & book of Acts was a Pharisee, a scholar. Jude & James, brothers of Jesus, would probably have been literate like him. (Jesus studied & read aloud the scripture in the synagogue etc). John & Peter lived into old age & would have had time to become literate.

I have since seen this John you mentioned. Just watched his video for a few seconds before I shut it down. Very dark vibes. He is everything that bothers me about someone who has "reformed" and expects everyone to find Jesus, quit alcohol, stop smoking, become a vegan -- whatever. They believe their truth works for them so if you're doing something else, you're wrong.
I guess what I'm saying is I think I understand what you're saying and it makes sense to me. Unfortunately, judging by some of the comments, there are a lot of people who see their path as the correct path. They don't understand we can all be headed the same way just in different vehicles.
I like your concept of the Light. And I agree that "They" are trying their best to keep "Us" separated and ignorant. Politics and religion are tearing the world apart. (Don't get me started on education or the different class systems). Fear is a powerful thing and the best way to wield power over human beings is to scare them. Confuse them by focussing on mundane matters, superficial issues, or better yet, make them afraid of being different or to think for themselves.

I'd just like to point out here that dark is not always bad, and light is not always good, and to assign these values to them strengthens the idea that dark-skinned people are bad, that female people (associated with darkness in most cultures, e.g. the yin-yang symbol), are always bad and that polluting the night sky with light is the way to go, because darkness is bad.

I do have issues with religion and she changed so much and was deep into the BIBLE that I have problems with. So I just couldn't resonate with her anymore.
Great video. Thank you for sharing this. My hit is similar to yours. I feel that she has been influenced by this man. That said, two things come up for me: one is that her energetic match to this man is a contract. Somewhere in her in 'step out ' of the oath she was clearly on. The other is that sometimes the forces that be/ were in their attempts to maintain control introduce an irresistible force. Blinded by 'love' or perhaps obsession, she cannot see his true nature as she has come under his spell, or one cast over her by another. I have dealt with 2 men in my life where this was the case. Once I empowered myself to recognize what I was dealing with (after the first one,) the second was easier to detach from. However, the second was possessed of a fallen angel, and his energy was very seductive. I considered it an initiation, which I successfully navigated, with the help of my own guides and Higher Self discernment.

If there is a “God” who is separate from us and who has all power and omniscience, then technically speaking, he is some evil genius sitting in his basement, looking at a computer screen with us living on it, and when he sees bad stuff happening to us like starvation and disasters, etc., h is laughing and just thinks it’s entertaining. Also, in that scenario, it would mean that someone created that creator. Who created him? I think it’s much more likely that Hinduism, the oldest faith in Earth, which has the oldest religious texts in Earth, is correct. Everything is made of energy. I didn't "follow" Doreen Virtue, but do have some of her Oracle cards and found that they were of the Light, containing positive and inspiring insights and messages to help people connect with their own Source energy. I was shocked and disturbed to find that she denounced all her good work, calling it "of the Devil," and knew that something felt "off." I still feel that turning to religion is turning to the dark, as most religions encourage people to give up their power. Christ said that we could do everything he could do plus more, and didn't want followers, but encouraged us to develop ourselves. Very unfortunate that Doreen turned away from herself. Tough to see someone with such a bright Light take a dark path.

Having experienced the Jesus Saves movement in the 1970s, all I can tell you is once they a vulnerable spot the tirade begins. There is no only one way but it is too uncertain for many to accept. There are many people formally saved who find themselves completely disillusioned and, unfortunately, never believe in anything again.

And have been a huge hay house fan for years and have all her books and cards etc . When I saw her flip the way she did and saw the new version - she literally looked like a completely different person plus she divorced herself from her own work after marrying this man who reached out to her on Facebook. I even wondered Omg what if she’s a walk in now and it’s not even “Doreen” anymore.
Def not the same person at all. I felt so sad when I saw her new version. It doesn’t bring peace or joy at all for me. And I grew up Catholic. It’s not the religion- it just doesn’t feel authentic. It’s like she’s possessed.
She said in an interview once how badly she wanted to be accepted by the 700 club (Christian broadcasting network) in her early days. Looks like she got their acceptance now.
I’ve seen this happen with people in my life - they connect with some controlling and energetically dominant person who “owns” them and they are never the same. Very scary stuff.

Looking for Oracle cards I came across Doreen Virtues statement about her wrong path and some preacher. I'm a total beginner in terms of spirituality and the community connected with this way to see life and the world. So kind of an outsider 😊 but while watching her video message and the preacher's lecture I turned my back on it because I feel it's all going into a negative way to tell me I'm a sinner and bad. People who are really interested in something for example the bible they know that this book was written decades after Jesus died and the translation is not accurate and parts were deleted etc etc. I'm not religious or new age but there are some statements I remember from Sunday school - before God we are all the same, God loves all of his children, we are part of God. So if you take these statements as a parameter you don't need a book with rules and people who tell you what's good or bad behavior and scare you. That's all power play always was. I find it very interesting what people say about NDE. Bottom line: believe in yourself .☀️

I’ve never resonated with the Bible always feeling it has been manipulated and have been a practicing Catholic until 4 years ago. I had the most amazing experience after I decided to leave the church. I literally heard a booming voice coming out of my chest saying ‘I’. It was so powerful, it shook my body to the core. All it said was ‘I’ and I’ve never had an experience like that since. God is within us dear brothers and sisters. He is not external in any book.

Someone I know said, "God created me and the devil created religion" to keep us separated. This is the first I'm hearing about Doreen Virtue. I never followed her but I have one of her books. And you are absolutely right.. They don't want you moving forward. Everything we see going on in the world is there to distract us and keep us in fear, anger and in that separated state. Thank you for sharing your reflection, I've had my thoughts too, but now practice the "let it go" 🙂 - I too love my deck cards, and the books I have on my shelves and for me the inspiration from her, was "perfect timing" on my journey. I decided that her material that is is in my house stays, it's in my energy and I still enjoy the inspiration when I allow it. But I had to "let her go" when she changed! The behaviour was such a dark emotional experience to so many people, and Hayhouse suffered a lot! But could the mirror in all this be, that it was an ideal part of her "blue print" to first grow the understanding of healing work, and then kick ahead the awakening into a new level? If so, then we have to be very grateful.
Since her change of journey, I've followed other great people of which interestingly, most are her former students, who have moved to the next level in their work. I assume we all find our "path" as the reflecting beings we are, walking on this beautiful planet while implementing our individual level of "Christ Consciousness", each in our own pace as we are forever evolving like any other being in the Galaxy we belong to.
We are all eternal beings, and we are definitely not alone in this universe. Any incarnations of our guides, are still around, and for sure someone are taking advantage of being in power! It happens all over, above and below! But humanity are on a new steppingstone of understanding forgotten history, who we really are, and what the heck is going on! The universal laws of free will, the right to choose, and the power in saying No, is where we have moved to of today. So many things are going on, what we see is covering many layers of invisible wisdom and the fights going on, are a part of evolution on so many planes that we can't really grab it. This is where religion is and has always been a "box it til you get it", but again also an easy manipulating environment. The power in the future goes to those who reflect and become aware, and choose to say no, when it no longer resonates. And Ladies, we are here to guide into balance of the feminine and the masculine. Beautifully said! I too keep Doreens Angel cards. Her book Healing with the Angels I gave away to someone who needed it, after I got my synchronistic message from my Angelic team, through the book. Once I had read the book all it did was to reawaken what I already knew in my heart. It does not matter who the messenger is, as all are used by our Creator to show us our paths. Your take on this is the first one I've heard that really makes sense. I definitely have spent too much time feeling confused and even betrayed by her. There is a LOT I have to say about how it all went down and the amount of people who never received refunds, etc. but the possibility of something happening to her intentionally (however it happened) seems very right on. Thank you for posting this because I never got closure with it and played right in to the confused, upset, disempowered vibe that you described. Jesus is real. Once you have a supernatural encounter with Him you're changed and you can't go back to the darkness. The difference is that you are relying on yourself and your own “consciousness”. Christians (not “religion”) recognize that we are sinners who need a Savior. Our Savior is Jesus Christ. The Bible says that no one comes to The Father except through Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Believing in Him as Lord who came to die for our sins is the gift of eternal life with God in Heaven. Our focus is not on ourselves or what we do. There is no way to earn salvation. It is a free gift and all you need to do is believe it and trust in Jesus. It’s very simple. God’s two greatest commandments are 1) Love God and 2) Love others.

Never followed her, nor any new age rituals. I was a Catholic and went to Buddhism, which is what resonate with me and my purpose. But I read some Hicks so I know a little of this. I stumbled upon a video from D.V. and I got goosebumps, but not the good kind ones. She is heavy, very heavy. Stuck. She can cite by memory all the chapters and paragraphs of the Bible ( I wonder which version she is on) including the verse, which display an obsession, almost like that's all she does all day. This type of attitude is the same that we in the west openly criticise when we refer to the Arabs and their study of the Q'ram. Fanatism and obsession are extremes that won't save anyone.

She seemed to get more fear based and kept taking more and more animals and then abandoned them because they couldn’t care for them. It just got more and more bizarre. I felt like you did that the partner presented with a controlling, dark energy. It was a weird shift.
I remember thinking how awful it was because so much of her work was focused on providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for people to heal and explore. Then turned on the people that followed her work and presented a shaming, fear filled energy, telling people they were wrong in what they were doing because she made a change in her life. You can take any path you want but when you have millions of followers you have to be carful and responsible. Being a therapist she should have known that could be really harmful.
Spot on...the word non-judgmental is the key here. The thing is that New age Christianity has had such an affect on people and is fclearly promoting fear, fear of being left behind or refused entry to heaven.......NO ONE can stop anyone from going to Heaven for it is our home, it is where we came from and so where we return to.......the only person that stop you from doing anything, will be yourself!
I tossed all her cards. Darkness took her. I have a very good friend who changed in the same way. She went back to the Catholic Church when her only child died, soon she was telling me my angels are demons, that the world is flat (that one threw me) etc. I think she was so totally depressed when her beautiful son died that dakness was able to move in and take her over.
Why did you toss out her cards? I still use one of her gorgeous decks and find it helpful.
When I looked at them I was reminded of her fall and made it difficult to keep all my thoughts positive.

A very dear person told me that if I'm having trouble connecting with my guide and all that my guide taught me because I couldn't agree with the way they lived their life, then it's a ME problem. The advice and guidance I received was meant for me regardless of the source. If it helped me then it's meant for me no matter what the person is going through as we both have our own individual and unique journeys and purposes. This approach might assist you in reconsidering all the times DV's cards would've helped you or for any such thing in the future.

Very interesting. For some reason, I have been led to learn about this woman today. Wasn't searching for her, but I watched a video where she was mentioned and now this. I'm newly awakened and I think the danger is looking outside of us in ANY context for spiritual guidance. Never been a follower of religion, because I see how dangerous it is, but even in the spiritual community, people fall into the trap of finding people to "follow". I'm hesitant to take any classes to learn how to do anything spiritual. We all want to be part of a community, but the confusion you are talking about is always what is inevitably created. I personally believe that if she was influenced by dense energy, she was an energetic match for that in some way shape or form. Maybe I've been brought here to show me the dangers of proceeding without working through personal blocks, because I have some things I need to work through. I've been working on it and it gets frustrating that I'm not there yet, because I want to move on, but spirit is saying, "no, no, you aren't over this yet. Be patient with yourself". I think following teachers can be really helpful, if they resonate with us, because we can learn a lot that we otherwise wouldn't, including how to work through personal blocks. I think WORSHIPPING teachers and believing they can do no wrong and we must follow them instead of our own inner guidance-- THAT'S where the danger is.
I'd encourage you not to let the danger you rightly identify keep you from learning things that might help you. The thing is to use your intuition for guidance on when a teacher is the right one for you, and even if they are right for you at one time, when that time has passed. Also, teachers do not always come in human form.
Is a teacher helping you strengthen your own connection to your own inner guidance? Then that's a teacher worth following, at least for a while. Is a teacher telling you that you have to do it their way and no other way, to do what they say and nothing else? That's a good time to walk away.

When Doreen told people to throw away her cards and books as being evil, especially the Angels and Ancestors deck, I promptly ordered it right away 😂 The cool thing is that a couple weeks ago, I drew from a few decks in one sitting, and Jesus came out of my Keepers of the Light deck again AND out of her Angels and Ancestors deck. Doesn't seem evil to me!

I remember feeling the same way about the man that she kept bringing attention too. I believe he was an artist too right and did artwork on some of her cards? I love her books about Angels; I love her cards. I also felt confused for about a minute and then I thuoght to myself, "Wow, we all have our own paths to go down, and you never know where your path will take you." I think it's a true mystery. One of the first "spiritual tools" I had was a deck of her angel oracle cards & I loved them! I bought those in 2016 & then in 2019, was drawn to learn tarot, as a way to help me develop & learn to trust my intuition.
I too felt that the total narrative shift that Doreen went through was very strange & "off" when I found out about it.
Yet what I've come to understand, is that when someone reverts back to organized religion, it is either through fear, or some sort of social pressure to conform in a particular way. Regardless, they have something to learn if the draw to return is there for them. I didn't know she was in a relationship, but it sounds like that man may have had some sort of influence over her mind & her heart.. & romantic partners tend to. Maybe familial expectations in some way.
However, I wonder how someone so connected to angelic realms, would feel pulled back to conform & block that off & call it demonic or "of the devil".
Personally, I grew up going to church & it was in my late 20's when I went through my very first awakening, that caused me to question a lot of things I was taught or told to believe & it took me on a journey, where now, I have no desire to return to organized religion, & the relationship I have developed with God, has allowed me to heal things beyond what I ever gained awareness or understanding of, by applying typical church-related guidance.
Even my son at 13, gained his own clarity around organized religion, not influenced by me, yet it perfectly aligns with where I am now at 39.
It definitely is a bit of a shocker though, yet also not all that surprising, when that "off" feeling is validated, because I'm no stranger to it mySelf... so many times over the years an off feeling about someone's choices & behaviors has been confirmed. or just their energy, because I can read people's energy though their photos.
What I've noticed from a pattern perspective is, that the ones who are pulled back on their path into organized religion, are very often influenced by external "forces" & it's been the case every time that I know of. Someone has "gotten to them" to the degree of instilling some form of doubt in their mind & they end up surrendering to that doubt from a place of fear. Yet Doreen will learn what she needs to learn in her own time.
Finally, I think it's odd that certain things or practices are considered "new age" & I feel like the term is applied a bit recklessly. Tarot, for example, while often viewed as demonic by organized religion, actually has roots in Judaism & you can see the influence throughout the cards. While I'm not saying that there aren't dark influences out there, it really just depends on the person & I feel like in Doreens' case, it would have to be someone external to her that led her back into conforming, when she had so much angelic support in what she was sharing with the world. It does make me wonder what exactly happened, what was said or done, that caused her to make such an extreme shift, because if you have so much angelic guidance & protection in your endeavors, then they certainly wouldn't guide you into something to make your life's work, then be like, "sorry, this is bad for your spiritual health, go back to church!"...

Does Doreen Virtue still collect royalties on her books and cards?. On reading her books there were messages from the Angels on how to treat nature which resonated with me YET I noticed that Doreen actions did not match the messages such as using pesticides and asking angels to bring her flip flops back in the sea while on vacation . I believe that no matter what spiritual leader or guide seeks notoriety none of us should follow like sheep. We should use our own inner guidance and hold the highest intention for ourselves. Always ask the question does this individual walk the talk?,.

Dear Stephanie, there are so much I would like to write you personally. I was so pleased and relieved that one person thinks as I. You are a great soul. About Doreen, I simply loved her. I'm not a medium but I have an acute intuition. My love of all the divine and angels grew throughout the years. So when I came accross Doreen's work, new age or not, I connected instantly with her words, her loving way to help people and of course, I could not pass buying everything that helped me even deeper on my faith. So it was a shock when I came accross ''her sudden change'' and was even more shock to see on you tube how much people who followed her have burned all of her work to go with her...
But those work of hers were and still are good !
Doreen now praise the way of Jesus... but I'm really sorry... Jesus (and I'm strongly positive about what I'm saying) must be deeply saddened by the path the poor soul of Doreen is going. Jesus is not the only one into this.

And Doreen has always been on the right path.

I stopped drinking alcohol and come across Doreen's work Angel cards .I was really in to Crystals too .I few years back I came across a interview with a ex satanic high priest . He was also an ex freemason .He spoke of all the cards Crystals etc explaining that they may appear as light good practices but they are indeed Occult practices. The devil appears as an Angel if light does he not. I am know a born again Christian
.I wondered what had happened to Doreen and then I watched a video on her testimonial on being saved in 2017 . There is plenty of research on this old eastern Occult practices out there for research. Best suggestion would be to read the bible and ask God for directions. All those Occult practices will kept you from having a real relationship with God .Doreen has apologised for her works and repented for them ..May you see this world of false light for what it really is and find your way back to the father.
I met her years ago. Nothing she told me came to be. She was working by rote. I will say she was a good writer. But in person, I think she was doing it for the money. Her heart was not in it. Now, I know nothing about Michael. He was not there when I met her. But I do know someone who turned to Christianity because of a man in her life. She, too, denounced all her former work. Interesting how I came across this video - just popped up in my suggestions! I am glad to talk about this. I loved Doreen Virtue back in 2015 - 2017 ish. Listened to her radio show on Hayhouse every Wednesday. Bought her books , numerous cards and took her card reading course. Around 2017 she said she had a "vision" and it scared her. She said she saw tanks. Also around that time she had an encounter with Jesus ( as she describes). She talked about never having been baptized. She also had a newer husband named Michael. He was more 'christian" than her. Suddenly in 2017 (or 2018?)she dropped everything. Renounced her own cards and books and wanted her name off them. She did a video about her leaving new age and blamed "new age" ( pagan) for everything wrong in her life. And now she makes a living on her 'testimonies" about the dangers of new age, crystals, tarot. 🙄. It felt like a punch in the gut. Many ppl, including myself, demanded their money back for the course from hayhouse. She had a rescue farm/ranch with many animals and abandoned that. Many ppl were also angry at her at the time for scamming them for donations to her rescue ranch. Her energy was way off!!! Nothing made sense. It seems like her husband may have had something to do with it. It felt like she was going backwards. Religion is going backwards. The Divine Feminine was erased and she was erasing herself as well. I felt like she was somewhat codependent. This relationship may have pushed her back. Her energy now is so patriarchal and controlled. The christians eat this stuff up and I'm sure she is profiting from them now. I have mixed feelings about her now. Sometimes I pick up her cards but I don't feel good about them anymore because it felt like she left with such anger and aggression. She calls them demonic like all the christians who try to control women, in particular. I agree with you that division is the goal. Maybe she was a plant all along to pull people away from themselves to a darker and controlled space? I don't know. I no longer trust most people in this arena, and especially anyone who claims to channel. The last time I saw her was at the You Can Do It Summitt in Baltimore back in 2013, and the man with her I felt was very stoic and stuck energy looming over all of us, excited to get an autograph; at first, I thought he was playing his role as a protector spirit like Arch Angel Michael, but now looking back you are right, he came into her life to cause more separation in the spiritual community as we enter into the Age of Aquarius, Oneness and letting go of categories in religions. I did a course with Doreen and found it to be very lame. Was the card reading course. Was mostly about selling her book and the cards. And the drama, the way she and her cohorts all dressed was ridiculous. It all was very materlistic.

Having been part of the New Age movement for years, to then realize that it is in fact a religion, it is all about “self enlightenment”, Doreen Virtue’s shift is simple, she found the true living GOD, the Light of world. That being said, I do agree with you, her turn was agressive, yet I understand as a now follower of Christ, the clarity brings you on your knees. A wonderful place to be.
My thoughts on it….new age practice ? Just follow your heart with Love and what feels good to you in your heart. Jesus is about love, but Doreen Virtue seems now about spreading fear based christianity which I don’t think Jesus would approve of….
Hi! I follow Doreen Virtue. I was saved this past year. I watch her content. My thoughts. I think it has hit her deeply how great her son was bc she had such a huge following that she feels the magnitude of trying to reverse the damage caused. She also feels the heaviness of her sin and I think it shows. She takes her faith seriously. She’s big on repenting and having faith and following God’s laws. I don’t believe she believes that works+ faith= salvation. I could be wrong, I just believe she believes that works are important. She really loves repenting but so do it. I found myself more rigid once born again bc I was so scared of slipping back into new age sin.

Doreen’s mother was a Christian Scientist. Doreen’s own New Age teachings evolved out of the tradition she was taught as a child. I can’t pretend to know what has happened in her life, but this is the impression that I get…I think she never had full confidence in what she was teaching, and she never succeeded in doing the really deep healing work that authentic spirituality requires. Because she became a prominent New Age figure, she had to ignore her doubts and uphold her image, and this meant she wasn’t living in personal integrity, which puts a lot of pressure on a person. I think that likely destabilized her, her doubts overwhelmed her, and she became vulnerable to great fear and existential crisis. Fundamentalism offers a neat solution to such a problem…just follow the Bible and you’ll be saved. Again, I’m only speculating, but that’s the vibe I get. I don’t think that anything nefarious necessarily went on. But if there was some external influence, she was clearly already in a position to be vulnerable to it.
Thank you for this video. I was very hurt when this switch happened and felt abandoned. I even stopped using her decks and gave away her books. My late friend told me at the time that she thinks Doreen got caught again in some kind of addiction as she has been addicted to substances before.
Later I realised that this switch also caused a switch in me to work on my feelings of abandonment and co-dependency. The switch also made me turn to my intuition and rely less on other's take on things. I became more self-assured and started turning away from the gurus and leaders and believing more in myself. So I hope Doreen is okay and I'm grateful for her teachings while she was in the light.
I was never a Doreen Virtue fan but I saw one of her earlier days video and I remember thinking how bright and luminous she was. Then I saw her after the change, and the energy was so different, dark and heavy, almost creepy. I don’t know what happened to her but it’s nothing good.

Your comment was very similar to mine. Doreen became a connector of people, she woke people up to another side of our life that is unseen mostly. Many people already had these types of feelings, some of them for years and they realised this, when they heard Doreens messages of Love Hope, and Healing! That is when it was apparent that there was a very potent awakening that was happening. And so it was stopped. The thing is.....in truth, it was too late, because the seeds had already been sown and now those seeds are now plants that are taking form and starting to grow and standup with their heads held high looking towards the Light! I also followed Doreen.. I am a Therapist. She had a stroke and it was a right brain hemisphere stroke which renders a person unable to make informed intelligent decisions. I was so Sad when she started her spirituality bashing campaign. I know her daughter in law was a devout Christian. She mentioned it many times. Her son was also a medium but gave the practice and his gift up for his wife. It hurt her, you could feel it. But after the stroke she changed. She then denied the stroke but if you look at pics of her at one point you can see the left side of her mouth suddenly has a pronounced droop. Thanks for this! I needed to hear this support today. I didn’t realize she had a stroke that would explain a lot I just thought she might suffer from Narcissistic Personality disorder or some personality disorder she was always going on about herself especially right before the conversion to Christianity she was going on and on about needing money and it was all me me me. Even after the conversion she was me me me I’ve given up everything I have lost everything give me give me. I can respect a change in beliefs but not the fear she’s spreading along with it. When she disowned her past work I was surprised and taken aback and was puzzled as to why the sudden shift. I saw what she did as peaceful, yet empowering. I agree with much of what you said. Something seemed strange to me, too.
You can always listen to her testimony on her channel if you really want to know what happened to her. She was saved by Jesus Christ who died for our sins to save us from death. Divination is a sin and she has repented for that which is why she tried to remove all her ties to New Age practices.

(I replaced all my Doreen decks when she did her 180). He also has new ones that are just as good if not better. He also has a weekly reading that you may enjoy. Yes, and the only negative energy there is is FEAR. As we age we tend to fear death more and more, and the demagogue false "gospel" says "believe Jesus died for your sins or you will go to hell when you die." Quite tricky, satan (the ego) is! The 2nd coming of Christ that" man made" Religions have indoctrinated their followers (note the word follower, and what does it conjour up in your mind, to me it feels like the pied piper taking all the children away!!!). Is not actually Jesus himself coming back as that would mean that they believe in reincarnation, which I have been told that they don't! That for a start is a contradictions. YES Stephanie, I totally remember that Michael dude that she was with, and I too felt that dark energy. She almost seemed "taken over" by him. I too followed everything, especially the angel work. I still have all the oracle decks and I still love them. It was a difficult thing to hear her proclaim overnight that this was all the devil's work. I also just read on her FAQ section that she still makes money from her previous work, and says it all goes toward her enormous back taxes from all of her profits. Makes me wonder if this "Michael" got her into financial crisis. And yes, it was a bit disturbing to follow her teachings so lovingly, and abruptly hear her say, now its from the devil. Thank you Stephanie, your video just showed up in my you tube feed, I agree with everything you have said here, im a new subscriber, the hardest part for me about Doreen's shift was the animals and what became of them, for a long time new animals would show up on the ranch and a lot of the stories she was giving out just didn't seem possible, like the gang of baby piglets who were travelling to slaughter escaped and came onto the ranch themselves past the electric fence, similar story with the kittens she found on her ranch, when things got out of hand and they were struggling for money still more and more animals were being admitted to the ranch, then she said they had all gone to rescue but people were asking her which rescues are you using to help you and she just wouldn't give a straight answer, and as far as we know she never has said , but I did see a video of her trying to sell animals, as for her spiritual work, her books and her cards she was my 1st choice, but I could always see these 2 sides of her character running parallel 😢
Well firstly, you're very pretty.
Secondly, I agree with just about everything you said, except the part about Doreen being compromised. I think she's just on a new path after coming to some realisations about the 'new' age. I say this because I, along with many others, are on a similar path.
However, the path many others are taking, as you can see, is running straight to Jesus and spouting the typical 'Jesus is the only way' stuff. I am certainly not one of them. I am not religious. However, after about 17 years involved with new age teachings and practices, now at age 36, I have come to the realisation that much of the new age is unfortunately deception. I didn't want to believe it, and resisted and ignored it. But the signs kept presenting themselves, and eventually it all broke through and changed up my worldview, and left me shocked at the unbelievable intelligence and cleverness those in power really do have.
Long story short, this all happened around the time I started a path towards channeling and actually attracted beings that did some terrible things with me without consent, while masquerading as the light. This is when I broke down crying and asked God (not Jesus or anything biblical) for help. Then I suddenly discovered Doreen for the first time and how she transitioned, along with many others on a similar path that were waking from this deception. I realised there's truth to what they're saying. But like with just about anything in existence there's always a middle ground.
I have come to the conclusion...
New Age = Deceptive bubble
Religion = Deceptive bubble
Materialism = Deceptive bubble
One thing that makes each bubble so deceptive though is when you start recognising the deception of one bubble you then just move to another bubble while falsely believing _now_ you have the truth. It's just another bubble.

While I certainly agree that all 3 of the things mentioned can be a very deceptive bubble, have you at least given the Bible a bash? (Excuse the pun 😅) It's really a profound book and in essence Christianity as explained in the Bible promotes a living breathing relationship with the creator far more than it promotes religion. From what is written in the Bible it shows that Jesus actually had very little tolerance for the teachers of religious law and a lot of grace for folk like prostitutes and corrupt tax collectors etc etc.
It's worth a read, but I'd start with the New Testament.

I have started reading the Bible actually, and the Qur'an since I dated a Muslim. But I'm making very slow progress because I just don't feel that passionate about them. I'm avoiding looking to religious people or anyone for interpretations though. I think much of this is regurgitated without a proper in-depth understanding.
Like with any traditions, I believe they are tainted by misinterpretations, misunderstandings, mistranslations, the Chinese whisper effect, lost transcripts, intentionally altered with propaganda, etc. I know Doreen has some arguments against this, but I don't buy the idea the Bible has been immune to all of these. Nor do I believe there is only one particular book or one particular path to God. There is always a way with or without access to a book or the ability to read etc.
In saying that I've recognised at the same time there's propaganda to turn people away from religion as well, such as Zeitgeist, which did get me at first. Then much of the channelers I realised were talking to beings only pretending to be good. These beings are exceptionally good at this and I experienced it firsthand, which really helped me wake up to the new age deception. All in all, I'm taking a middle path and not subscribing to any group.
