The sweeper will pick up quite a bit if you lower the brushes all the way to the ground (sand, small pebbles, some gravel, etc.) However, it’s made for a lawn. The instructions tell you to set the brushes so that the brushes are 1/2” below the top of the grass. For me, that’s about 2.5” off the ground. I usually end up adjusting it a little up or down to make it perform like I want. When I do the driveway (mine is asphalt), I will drop the brushes down to where they are barely touching the surface. Anyway, not sure exactly what your application is, but if you’re keeping the odd stone off your paved driveway, this might do it. If you’re trying to separate rocks out of your yard, I don’t think this is the right tool.
Will it pick up small rocks that are 1 inch and smaller?
