Wish I knew I could do this 10 minutes ago, I installed ciss to bypass the sub ink tanks on pro 6000 as they were leaking… all works great now.. but I run out of pgy and it started the head filling wasted so much ink, will doing this stop it trying to fill the print head ? As if inks detected in all nozzles on the head it would have no reason to fill would it not ?
hello, how do you disassemble the plastic panels and access the gears of the first image? I would not like to break the plotter! I would like to close the valve to fill the color tubes which now have a lot of air inside, due to inactivity (I think).

I have an IPF750 and just tried pulling the ink through the lines like in your video, the inks on the right hand side of the machine flow fine(MBK,MBK,BK, the inks on the left side (C,M,Y) do NOT. I get the same result as if the valve was closed on the pump. I have made sure the valve is OPEN and try to suck ink through and no luck. im not getting air. they are not leaking, its like they are blocked. Any ideas..
I didn't realize that it had another purge pump on the left side that pumped the color to print head. I opened the valve and now i have ink going to the print head using your manual method. The problem i have now, back to my original problem is error E161-4050. if i look at the 3 color lines they all have air bubbles through them after i reinstalled the print head and the machine carried out the refilling process that tool forever to complete. I believe the purge pump is not working on the colour side. Would you agree? If so are they repairable in any way or just replace? are they hard to replace? Thanks in advance for your help.

I set automatically my Canon ipf 750 in refilling with ink, after cleaning manually of the clog printhead. the printer keeps on refilling for hours but not gets full and ink cartridges got drain and emptied. Do you have any solution for this?
you need to change the print head. why this is happening is that you did not follow "how to remove the print head from Canon ipf printers". you have to unlock the carriage or take the head out in service mode.

you can also press (information, stop, feed) and power it up an F will come up in Factory mode. then in execute tab < > press v > to get to clean tubes, by pressing the feed button you can open or close the valves without dismantling the iPF printer. in factory mode, you can test everything but I am yet to find a manual, had to make my own as Canon Service Team is like tits on a bull F#@$ Useless. more interested in a serial number that fixing the problem and DO NOT upgrade the firmware it may cause more issues if you have a flag error example error-code go to Clear Flag in factory mode and it will clear all flags except FTC Flags yet to figure this one. and then NO MORE CALL FOR SERVICE saved you $400 just there. enjoy

Can you bypass the chip easely with a canon ip720? or do we need special cardridges?

I thought the title said it's to refill the ink tanks? From what I can see it's the exact opposite of the description.

Yet to discover MAKITORI ERROR we have 2 iPF canons they both do it and they work fine
the only problem is our second printer came up with error E196 404E and we found that canon says its a PCB Motherboard error, when we found, is plug J2801 in the PCB that sends no signal to the servo motor. your issue could be something less complicated
and if you get something like error code E196 404E call for service don't be scared just get back into F and clear all flags, you're done.
