Omg your doing great! I just have a few suggestion. That hay rack wont fit enough hay, so you'll need a bigger one or you can put the hay in the litter, you could also keep the rack but put hay in the litter box. bunnies like to eat and poop at the same time so having hay in the litter box or in a hay rack above the litter box is best. I'm not sure if you free roam them 24/7, but if not that hutch isn't enough space. I would suggest you use the pen you used to keep them in as a run for the new hutch. that way they have room to run around and binky while their not free roaming. Please take this into consideration and keep up the good work!
You can put a litter pan below the hay rack it will help keep the space cleaner, Because they use the bathroom while they eat. That is how I litter train mine and makes it easier to keep clean for my bunnies bebes...I hope this is helpful. Love your bunnies and set up! Great video! 💗🐰 💕💕💕💕💕
👏🏾
I agree. That's why their butts and passed are stained yellow.
Your bunnies are so cute !!
I have 2 bunnies. One is younger and full of energy the other is older and prefers to keep to himself. I just bought two of these so they can each have their own house. They were just delivered yesterday so I'm putting them together tonight. It was nice to get a sneak preview look of what I'm up against 😂
omg the bunnies are so cute!
Guys congrats on 1k and the bunny’s are so cute 🥰
Thank you!!! And they really are😊
I was expecting for you to show step by step😳.
Because I just got one in the mail today🤷🏽
The instructions are very easy to understand! I'm sure you won't have a problem 🙌🙌 wish you the best!!
So did you like it? Her drawer looks messed up. Thanks!
The title of the video didn't say "step by step" so yeah..
i got the same cage for christmas i can’t wait!! i also have the same pineapple bed from five below my rabbit teddy lovesss it!!
That's awesome!!!
@@homesteadwannabes he so cute what his name
Ahh!! Your bunny's ears are so cute!! ❤️❤️
They made such an amazing hutch but the only disappointing thing is the mesh floor but at least it’s optional 🤷🏽♀️
Awesome little night light 😀
That new house for rabbits is great🐇🥰🥰🥰
I think so too!
amazing vid, little tip, bunnies like to eat the hay while they do their business, I say put the litter pan under the hay rack!
This hutch is abit small for 2 rabbits but as long as you take them out a lot / let them free roam most of the time then yeah that’s fine ✨
this is like the biggest cage you can get online. what would you recommend? thinking about purchasing one like the one in the video and building an addition.
@@sabrinam3914 I love how everyone that says this have never heard of dogs lol
Great idea for my bunnies.
im getting this brand cage for my guinea pigs. last christmas i bought a different brand and the wood is falling apart. i love that its on wheels as well
That's awesome! They have alot of different types to choose from!:))
What kind of bunnies do you guys have? They are just adorable!
Thank you for sharing. I have nine cats and have been looking for an alternative for a place to put their litter and give them a little safe haven at the same time. What I like about this possible conversion is the bottom tray slides all the way out and Although it is too shallow to use as a litter box, I might be able to take the pan out or cut into it to fit litter boxes so I can slide them out to clean them. I’m wondering if you can provide the space from the floor to the bottom of the pan liner so I can figure the height between that space as far as the height of a possible litter box if you could actually fit in?
That's awesome!! I haven't officially measured it but just by looking at it I would say from the tray to the floor it is at least 2 and 1/2 inches:)
@@homesteadwannabes Thank you 😻
Great video you guys. I am getting the same exact hutch within the next couple of days. But, I’m a little confused. Does the feeding station have to be in the same area as their poop box?
The litter box does not need to me near the food bowl. But a hay rack or just a bunch of hay in the litter box for the bunny to eat while going to the bathroom. It’s also great for litter training
I have my food bowl over the litter box (:
They look just like one of my lops! So cute!
Can this be built facing the other direction we're looking at getting two and putting them together like a little condo
I am getting the exact hutch for my bunny
Keep it up your videos are so entertaining and fun
I just got one and this helped! I now know how to set it up!
Great video. Couldn't help but notice that your bunnies paws and butts seem to be stained bright yellow. You should keep them from sitting on their soiled bedding. There's some health risks with that anyways. Plus it just looks gross. My bunny is all white so I know the struggle. 😅
I never had a rabbit but I would like to know some tips before getting one 💕
If you are getting one do lots of lots of research and look up how long the bunny lives and you have to have 2 or more but if you do research look up 101 rabbits Victoria Rachel and Lenin the bunny and I can’t remember to get the girls name but please do all your research and rabbits have to have very big cages or no cage at all and I have 2 rabbits so I did a lot of research on mine but all rabbits are different so please do a lot of research
@Kourtney Toni why? I have done all my research and I spent 2 years doing research so stop
Hopefully you’ll be able to free roam! It’s much better for the bun. I know this is old but good luck!
Thats so funny ur transferring ur bunny from the exact one I have to the hutch I just ordered
Ur bunny is so cute 🥺
I also want to buy the same cage thank for your tour it gives me more information
Its definitely to smmall
I love how you did not use the grid it’s very bad for their feet to idk if you knew that
I agree with you
Well it's a good thing you said something I was about to put it on as I was building it but couldn't find out how to put on the grid but thanks to the comment I'm not putting it on now thanks
It's not "very bad for their feet". It's only that way if it's the ONLY ground they have available. It's important to have different material so your bunny can choose where it would like to be. For example: in the winter they may not want to lay on a ventilated or slippery floor.
I do agree that everyone seems to gravitate to wire bottom cages. Wired bottom cages have been known to cause sore hocks, change your bunny's stance etc. But remember that this information is from bad owners (obsessive breeders etc) who don't care for the rabbits in the first place. I'm just saying.
This is from someone with a well bonded rabbit that does NOT have a wire bottom cage. Honestly free roaming or anything close to it is the best choice for a rabbit. They shouldn't be in cages. That's the sad and honest truth😢
Having alfalfa can give them sludge in their urine from eating too much calcium. Nice cages btw’
Where did you get your rabbit? So cute!!🐰🐰
From a friend 🤗 and thank you!
hi! I was wondering why you chose this one? I was looking at the AIR19 instead of this, did you see any problems with that one?
We don't have any problems with the others we just really liked this one because of its layout to be more of a hide for them! But if you like the model AIR19 you go for it!!
Is this a good size for lionhead? And put a dog play pen around it ? Is it safe to keep bunny in this cage while out and about for the day? Like food shopping ? Obviously bunny will have free roam when I am home. Just want to make sure this cage is ok for when I am out food shopping or what not. Thanks!
Yes that would be perfect!!
Really amazing
For your other play pen, how did you get the door set up? Thanks
I love this hutch its good quality but that hay is very dusty i recommend timothy or orchard grass but other than that such a good iv been a subscriber for 10 months almost a year
Oh my golly wow!! Thank you for subscribing! We really appreciate it! And yes that hay was definitely not it😂 we already switched to Timothy Grass 🤗 ❤️❤️
Ok other than that perfect love your vids!♥️
Hi! How big is the litter box size you have?
You free roam them right?
I see your using alfalfa hay, concidering how old your rabbit seems to be in the video, please switch to Timothy.
would this be a good guinea pig cage?
Yes for sure!!! An extended run will definitely be even better!!
okay..that is waaayyy too small for 2 rabbits. You also have way too much pellets in that bowl. I recommend giving them separate food bowls so you know they're both getting the correct amount of food.
thank you I'm going to get a guinea pig and I need to get the best for her
Need bigger for guineapigs
Noooo not the hutch noooooo😞
I recommend putting the hay in the litter box and not feeding that much pellets
WE HAVE THE SAME THING
I do not recommend buying this hutch as it is way too small the minimum amount of space for a rabbit is 4x4' and this hutch is only 3x2' which is not even half of the required amount of space, if you are looking for a hutch or cage for your bunny i only recommend exercise pens /playpens they are usually advertised for dogs just make sure the one you buy is at least 3' tall so the bunnies cant jump over, i bought a 4x4 playpen that is 4' tall and that was 46$ but i bought 2 of them and connected them together so now i have a total of 8x8', so for 92$ i was able to get a 8x8' space for my bunnies compared to this hutch that is 188$ and only 3x2'.
I highly recommend playpens over hutches as they are much bigger and cheaper, if you already own this hutch i recommend getting some playpens but you can still use this hutch as a cozy hidey house, Just do not keep your bunnies in this hutch for long periods of time.
How do you CLEAN the playpens? Sounds kinda gross so I need a different visual, please
@@ajzaggy3312 As long as the rabbit is litter Boxed trained it should not get that messy, I clean the litter box daily and I vacuum the whole playpen twice a week.
I will be posting a video about playpens on my own channel in a few weeks, but if you want to see it right now you can message me on Instagram @kookythebunny
Can I buy it the uk will it cost more
I would probably put them in a play pen or just free roam them and the hutch its not gonna do its way to small the bunnies are probably not happy and the hay feeder is also not gonna give them a lot of hay and remember bunnies eat 80% of hay and you can get a cage but only if its big and can give 80% of hay
Your video is the best
Nice video Julia&Olga 😍so cute bunnies ❤️ I'm a subscriber
Awesome! Thank you!!
So annoying they don’t deliver to the UK
I'm sorry 😟
Do you still like it??
The hutch?
We love it very much! The bunnies are always doing zoomies everywhere but when they are ready to rest they love to hop back into the hutch onto the highest level, sploot on their side and sleep:))
I’m getting my first bunny and want all the info and looking for a good hutch
@@lanegalvin30 this is a great option! But this is too small to keep your bunny in 24/7 unless you free roam your bunny or have an extended pen! It works great with both and I love how it has a little ramp for them to get down 🤗
@@homesteadwannabes you have such a nice array of pets/animals! When I’m older I want a small pets room :)
Hutches army good for rabbits check “bunny love”
They really are if you are keeping them in there 24/7! Just like any other cage
@@homesteadwannabes what do you mean “any other cage” rabbits shouldn’t be in cages
Exactly!
Where does he go potty though?
My girls have a ranbit
PLEASE
now you just need a UVA/B reptile light to give them vitamin D while their inside all the time;)
NO HUTCHES. WATCH LENNON THE BUNNY
Can you give me one plese
NO ONE BUY THE HUTCHES THEY ARE HORRIBLE FOR BUNNIES
Yeah if you keep them locked in them, it’s fine to have hutches as long as they’re free roamed.
Thank you! We just bought one of these after we watched your video. 12/14/2020.
AWESOME!!
Where’s the 2 movable wire mesh?
Look how small. I know it only for sleep but it's still way to small
lennon the bunny will give you great advise like not to put your bunny in a hutch
Subscribed about 9 months ago:)
Her bunny’s don’t live in the hutch hun, she already said it’s their homebase😂🙄
@@nikolina9445 I appreciate that!
J & O well I mean I was 1 minute in and you already explained that, it was quite obvious lol
Honestly no. Lorelei has loads of flaws in her care I recommend saveabunny.org
looks a little to small for a rabbit maybe consider it for a guinea pig or two
I had one of these had to throw it out the wood is toxic for your rabbit to chew on and it absorbs the pee and smells bad just use c&c panel crates ,have a big nice three story custom cage
I like everything about it except the wire
Floor which is not good for their feet :( But I do like it’s removable and you guys did decide to not use it. I would personally not use that and I would replace the floor with those plastics that are safe for the feet.
Hey I want to reach you out for some shoutout kind of thing , didnt find any contact info, could you please share it with me ?
How pounds your rabbit weight?
Thank you so much for sharing this. I have been looking into this one but didn't know what I would do with my bunny's food and water. What do you use for litter?
People just use hay, or cat litter. But make sure to have alot of hay near there litter tray.
@@islaandelleroblox8545 don’t use clumping cat litter but i heard yesterdays news is good for rabbits
I personally use compressed pine pellets and it works fine, have been using it for a good few years
Have they chewed up hutch wood ???
I have a Aivituvin and it’s doors hardly open.
Your bunny is so adorable:)
I don’t recommend using a hutch their way to small I would recommend a X-pen their are tons and Amazon for less then 40 and rlly good sizes:)
Is a 199 x 146 centimeter hutch good?
Ok I know I’m late but, I’m not hating on you in anyway just pointing out the fact that their free roam and that’s just their base :)
@@SSSabrinAAA I’m so sorry I posted that comment when I wasn’t educated about rabbits at all now mine are free roamers and they are way happier!
@@qlesia7712 having a hutch as a home base is great but bunnies rly do need to free roam they love to run and get the zoomies quite often and bein in a pen jus dosent giv them the room to do it.
I want several Rabbit videos I just inherited a rabbit from my daughter she gets pads and then I end up caring for them life's that Levi should provide them the best that I can and in this video I believe this will work for us great job girls in my personal opinion this is the best one some of the other ones were way too large for what I need for one rabbit that I plan on letting out when I can supervise
Yes it's isn't to large, but be sure to not use this to keep your bunny in 24/7. Add an extension or free roam and let the hutch be their base with food water and litter box
Just purchased and thanks for the video cause my product came with no assembly instructions....
Oh no! I'm sorry about that! And it was a pleasure:)))
Cute 💕
Thinking seriously about getting this hutch for our rabbit. Where did you get their litter box and the liner?
Only use as a home base
omg yesss❤️✌🏼
😄🥰🥰
Is the paint safe if the bunnies chew on it? Just wondering cause I got one today
Yes:) If you read their hutches details it will clarify it is safe to chew on:)) my buns chew on EVERYTHING including the outside of their hutch and they are all good!
Please do video : Our farm tour or videos whith your poultry.

Love the set up you might want to get more toys though

Can you please tell me what’s the plastic thing you had under the playpen they were in??
It came with it:)
@@homesteadwannabes thank you. I’m trying to find something to keep under mine so my bun will stop pushing it across the floor. It’s very noisy lol
what kind of bunny do you have
Holland Lop
Oooo que monos son sus conejos y las dos son gemelas wuuooo que bien me encanta su canal las sigo saludos desde chile 😍😍😍
So cute what breed?🥺❤️
Thank you! They are Holland Lops
Y husband was looking at this cage on Amazon then I can across your video it was nice to see it set up .
What size pen did you have , I am thinking of getting a pen while I am at work then the bunny can free roam when I am home or my son.
We are probably getting the hutch to.
I can't let anything near my rabbit that's chewable, she will destroy anything. Carpet, blankets, wood, anything she can get her teeth on lmao
Which would be best for 3 mini hyland bunnies?
Why the plastic in the litter pan . Why not pee pad with hay
Omg your rabbit is so cute I have a lion head rabbit
Your blankets are going to get dirty
where did you get the litter pan with the liners?
I whant that for my bunny it's so cool
They poop where they eat
Where is the litter box from?
Omg we have the same hut
I know hutches may look nice good for bunnies and look great in your house, but it is the worst thing possible
She said its there safe place the rabbit isn't gonna be in there all day...
I have some questions... you put the blanket, but is not bad if the bunny eat? Do your bunny bite you? How long took to your bunny use just the potty training and do not pooping in all cage? Do you use this basket with hay, is for eat for pee and poop?
My bunny will turn 6 months this week. Sometimes she’s bites us, today she did when I try fix her food. I’ve a little concern, because my son is 2 yo and sometimes he put his fingers inside the cage. Next week will be arriving this house for her.
Thank you for your help.
1. The bunny will damage the blanket but you shouldn't have problems with him eating it
2. Yes our bunnies bite at times! They never broke skin but it can be a little painful. They usually do it when they want food.
3. Our bunnies learned to use the litter box properly after around 14 weeks (we got them at 12 weeks old)
4. Yes the blue box is for them to use the restroom while eating their hay. You want to add a big handful of fresh hay twice a day into their litter box
About the biting I'm not really sure. But I googled it and this is what it says:
"Sometimes rabbits nip to get attention. If this is the case with your bunny, the solution is to squeal loudly every time he does it. This lets the rabbit know that his nipping hurts you. In the future, you'll find that he'll nip softer or will stop doing it altogether."
