Gorilla brothers Gentaro and Kintaro came to their beloved keepers.
They often played with and are trained by her.
When Gentaro and Kintaro were playing with each other, their father Momotaro (silverback) got angry at Gentaro and chased after him. Did Momotaro think Gentaro was bullying Kintaro?
Kintaro came to his mother Genki to sniff and touched her buttocks, but Genki didn't care and just kept eating.

Momotaro: Silverback born on July 3, 2000.
Genki: Mother gorilla born on June 24, 1986.
Gentaro: First son of Momotaro and Genki born on December 21, 2011.
Kintaro: Second son of Momotaro and Genki born on December 19, 2018.

京都市動物園のゴリラ兄弟ゲンタロウとキンタロウが飼育員さんのもとに来ました。
兄弟はよく飼育員さんのもとへ行っては、遊んでもらったり、トレーニングを受けています。
ゲンキン兄弟が遊んでいると、父モモタロウが突然怒り、ゲンタロウを追いかけまわしていました。モモタロウはゲンタロウがキンタロウを攻撃していると勘違いしたのでしょうか。
キンタロウは母ゲンキの後ろに来て、ゲンキのお尻を嗅いだりちょんちょん触っていましたが、ゲンキは気にせずエサを探し続けていました🦍🦍

The relationship between the gorilla brothers and their keeper is interesting to watch! Over the years, she gained their trust with her kindness and gentleness thus making it easier to interact in case of a problem. Kudos to Kyoto City Zoo for having such a person in the position to oversee the care of 'our' family! 💖
