My biggest issue with this trilogy is the look of Gotham City. It looks like this takes place in the time of Batman Beyond. Whenever I hear the word Gotham, I think of Gargoyles on all the buildings, very medieval architecture, etc. That's mostly a nitpick but I just wanted to say it. I'm fine with Batman having very high tech, because it makes sense, but not all of Gotham
That's only some of Gotham. Gotham looks like any other major city.
@@tomzhouschannel968 no
@@Dracovenatrix How? Gotham's like Chicago or Detroit with Gothic architecture it's not like it's Victorian London. The iconic thing about Gotham is its nightlife that's stated clear as hell in the comics.
@@tomzhouschannel968Gotham’s main theme should be gothic, not just some parts but should be most of the city. It should look like it is stuck between a modern day Chicago and the Victorian London. Constant raining and everything seems either red or dark. Also, the more it looks like a dumpster fire of a city, the better.
I remember wanting to watch these so bad cuz it was the first time "red robin" was animated so dope
There's also the fact that Red Robin was voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.
I own all three of these movies and have watched them several times but I still love listening to your reviews of them. You crrack me up man! Great job!
Chemo is actually an op villain, I love him, never forget he was in the first crisis
watch justice league action it is soo underrated and the potrrayal of batman is more fluid than other incarnations :)
i LOVE jla. such an underrated show. glad to see that somebody else recognizes it
Yep, I often recommend it to people who are fans of *"Batman: The Brave and the Bold"* , because it's pretty much that show but with the entire Justice League...
And there are some great Batman episodes in it, too. The one in which he teams up with Booster Gold ("Time Out", this one always gives me the feels), and the one in which he teams up with Plastic-Man & Firestorm, against Two-Face & Deadshot ("Double Cross") are favorites of mine.
I adore Harvey Dent in JL:Action, it's a shame he only appears in this one episode...
And of course, the Batman & Blue Beetle team-up against Chronos, in "Time Share", is pretty much *the* episode any self-respecting Bat-fan must watch.
And even if Batman doesn't appear very long in it, any fan of the Bat-rogues will have a blast watching "E. Nigma, Consulting Detective", in which Green Arrow & Wonder Woman have to recruit the Riddler to save Batman from Joker's scheme.
I mean, there are almost no duds in this show, there are 52 episodes and they're all worth a watch.
Im still waiting for a video on Batman Brave and the Bold and the video on Beware the Batman.
I find it funny how Batman (and Green Arrow) has a big ass Mech in this film series and the fact that Toho studios almost had a Godzilla vs. Batman (I shit you not) made
I like the charecter designs in this movie and I think that it was purely made to sell toys and once you remove it it's kinda bearable.
Batman unlimited monster mayhem in my opinion is one of the most underrated Batman movies of all time
The joker looks like an alternate outfit for Roger Klotz in Quailman fighting game.
Now, how come these movies never had Superman? I'm guessing he just wasn't part of the toy line, but still, it feels wrong to not have him as part of a Justice League.
Strange you did not mention that the voice for Killer Croc also voiced the Joker in Who is Under the Red Hood.
I've seen all of them. Every single batman property.
*Seems like every Batman video starts with “it’s rare I find a Batman movie I’ve never seen.” And in this case it’s because this video is a re upload*
Vee, I'd love to see you do a video talking about the Harley Quinn show. I know I've heard you reference it a few times but I'd love to see a full video
It's oddly strange how hard it is to find these movies, even on pirating sites. Most of clips I've found on UA-cam were in spanish 😅
Kiss cartoon
The Batwoman suit will be perfect when it fits a man. 😂
MIGHT AS WELL SEE THE SHOW!
Nightwing finds flash annoying? I will have to head canon that Wally and Barry are fighting and Wally is blowing up Nightwings phone with all of his grievances lol
I actually enjoy most of these movies. For me They are just a fun place to turn off my brain, and enjoy being in the DC universe. However the last one "mechs and monsters" I just couldn't get into. Probably because I've never been a fan of kaiju or transformer storys.
ONE HELL OF A LINE UP
Is weird that beside Silver Banshee, there's a lack of female characters like Harley, Batgirl in this movies
I don't think so, from a toy company perspective girl action figures don't sell to boys. I disagree, but that was probably the rationale, making new character designs when they're all pre established by the toy line wouldn't be cost effective.
Killer croc looks really awesome in this tho. I prefer the big buff crocodile look over the human with skin disease look
I loved this movie, and the sequel with Mr Fries
An example of a movie being made for kids but still being enjoyable would be THE lego batman movie, different tone but still fun.
1:30 - Man between this, Sonic and Hedgehog and Boulder Punching Chris Redfield, Roger's IMDB page is comedy gold XD
1:52 - GORDON?! The guy is pretty much NRS' go to man for the Joker and he's been cast as Gordon here?!
2:30 - Not gonna lie, as someone who puts Sasuke Uchiha at number one on my fictional person shit list, it still weirds me out that his english voice actor is now more widely known as the web head XDXDXDXDXDXD
2:55 - And just like that, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr.Freeze just noped the hell out XDXDXDXDXDXDXD
3:30 - It doesn't bother me, it doesn't bother me it bothers me it bothers me a lot AND THAT TILE IS STILL GREEN!! >8O
23:17 - Whoa whoa who whoa whoa, full stop, where was the robotic t-rex on the cover of this thing?! What was I happening to be looking down just as it was on screen?! Where was the damn robotic t-rex promised by the cover?!
32:07 - Yeeeeeaaah I'm just put that into my quiver of insults against white conservatives, cheers mate XD
33:00 - I know right?! The one time I didn't pack my plug suit!
Look out behind you it's Damen Wayne!
I've never seen the 3rd one but I did watch the first two. They were fine, though there were elements of these movies that even though I didn't know there was a toy line, I still knew there was a toy line. What I mean by that is I've never actually seen a single toy based on these movies but there are things that happen that only make sense as a toy commercial. For example Batman keeps changing costumes not just between films but within the same movie, his costume will randomly change based on the gimmick he's using in that particular scene. And I do use the term "gimmick" not "gadget" because they feel like the gimmicks the toys from Batman the Animated series toy line in the 90's use to have. And those Batman toys also came with recolored Batman costumes except those never actually appear in the cartoon because the writers for that show cared more about making a good story than selling the toys in the toy line. These movies clearly are focused on selling toys rather than telling a story.
I will say as glorified toy commercials go, they aren't the worst movies I've ever seen. There is still a story there even if it's a very simple one. But this really does feel like the type of story a kid would come up with while playing with the toys. I still have not actually looked it up to see if these toys really exist because I don't care to buy any of them but I'd be shocked if they did all of this weird stuff with the multiple costumes and gimmicky features only to not actually make a toy line out of them. The weirdest thing to me is that these movies actually have transforming robots in them... Ace is a robot dog that transforms into a motorcycle, I collect Transformers, that's basically what he is but I still don't care enough about this movie to see if they're actually trying to complete with Transformers making these mechs part of the movie... though if that giant robot from the 3rd movie actually transformed from Batmobile I'd be into that.
I don't understand why WB didn't market these films more, or even air them on Cartoon Network. These were silly fun films.
Yoo Batman unlimited was one of my fav
Congrat good review now I d ont have too watch the 2 movie
The 3
I loved these films
A Batman Unlimited animated series spun off from these films: it's free to watch on the DC Kids UA-cam channel and Tubi: each episode is only four minutes long.
I read Nightwing based fanfic so I heard about bludhaven being destroyed by Chemo but I assumed that was the name of like a dirty bomb with some sort of chemical inside of it not a person villian
Chemo isn't exactly memorable for the most part but I could never forget when Chemo destroyed Bludhaven.
"Might as well enjoy the show!"
Early infuso gang!!
Reupload?
Whenever he does videos on a series he will always go back and re-upload them all together in one video
The Trilogy " Animal Instincts, Monster Mayhem & Mechs vs Mutants " Their Fun and I'm glad they skip over back stories I'm done with the reboots Do we really need to get a glimpse of Bruce Wayne's parents Or Dick Grayson's Parents Dying ....... AGAIN!
They were Entertaining Enough
the penguins plan was dumb af
I admit I have a bit of an irrational dislike of these movies because they directly replaced Beware the Batman since Mattel wanted to support its own toyline instead of doing toys for the current (at the time) show. But also, it wasn't a great version of Batman by itself. Shallow characters, boring stories, and none of the charm that Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Justice League Action, or even that JLA movie for kids had.
My problem with batman unlimited is the blue suit like yeah it’s not a adult Batman series but for some reason it looks like a some what serious show plus the blue suit with the white eyes and the yellow tint around the suit is fucking stupid personally the red suit is a little better then the blue suit
Im more confused about the look of scarecrow
Sorry to disappoint. These are movies that I've seen.
This is interesting, most interesting
Interesting 🤔
Nightwings hair is offensive lose all chinstraps
Batmans cape cowl boots gloves and trunks should be black not blue.
They Should Do A Batman Beyond Reboot in This Animated Universe
I saw this when I was a kid
The bat emblem looks like a taser with wings.
It was pure fluff i just enjoyed the pretty colors and neon gotham cyber punk aesthetic. didnt take it seriously at all.
You might as well see the show.
Damien is super annoying and in everything
You are very wrong I've already seen this movies all of them
These are just cartoons. I was expecting live action.
