Margaret, You are so lively and have a wonderful sense of humor so STOP saying you are "getting freakin old"! I am 10 years older than you and I know getting things done takes a little longer but I feel being in your company is a hoot and you are NOT old- you are delightful!
How I can empathise with you Margaret. I am 74yrs old now. Living alone in 4 beds, 3 baths that I don’t need, can’t manage the upkeep of etc. Yet the thought of packing up, selling, finding somewhere is overwhelming! I applaud you for your courage and candour. Good Luck ! ❤
Me and my husband are kind of in the same boat. He is 75 and I am 68 yrs old. Its is expensive to pay someone, we just cant afford it, but to move is overwhelming and rent somewhere else would be too high.🫣 what a conundrum.
Honestly our move to down scale was the best thing we did for are finance, mental health, the secret is to make lists and plan ahead. I know you are doing this alone, but you will not regret making this important life change. We now can lock up and leave and do some travelling home and abroad. Your home is looking great to sell. Sending love ❤😊 Rosie O from Devon, England 🏴
Volume is fine! Lisp?? No! Love blinds down and open! The house looks so cozy, clean, and comfortable! You are doing an excellent job with this move! - Belinda
In the winter, we are if we are older….in winter of our life, we fight getting depressed, not getting out, overwhelmed with basic life…..I hate your selling the house or did I miss that…keep positive as I know you will. Life is like your highway experience things just pop out. If it was not for our Heavenly Father I think I would have lost it the last 3 years. The only thing I can do is know, He is in control of everything.
Put things you want to give to people in their own mailing box. You can add a note when you are ready to send it. Once it leaves your hands let it go. What they do with it is up to them. You can’t expect people to feel the same about your belongings as you do. In your note you can explain why you thought they were important but that’s it. LET GO. ❤❤❤
You are going to get through all this, I just listed my house I’m a retired hairdresser as well. I don’t think I’m going to get asking price and it drives me nuts. My agent hired a photographer instead of using a cell phone it makes a huge difference. Then you get the feedback of every single person that comes to view the house, that’s when you want to ring their neck. Don’t let it steal your joy, keep the faith 🙏🏼
I don’t have a problem with the volume. It’s perfect to me. Never noticed a lisp but wasn’t looking for it. I would love to like in your place. It’s so cute and cozy. My daughter in law is a realtor and I showed her your video. She said nice place. Window blinds down. Pillows and afghan away while pictures are being taken. Just so people can visualize their belongings in that space. Other than that just perfect. Thank you for sharing. Also I’m very excited for you. New beginning. Yay.
At 75, I have never learned dear Margaret. I have told myself very sternly and repeatedly that I will begin exercising at the beginning of January.....it is now the 14th and here I sit watching UA-cam and checking my email all day. It is 1:36 pm here in north central Florida, my Christmas decorations are all still up, I haven't exercised and I am really aggravated at myself.🙄. You have been on the run and working....I have not....I am sort of ashamed of myself.🙃
NO shame! We are all walking (or crawling) our own paths. Everyday is a new opportunity. If I didn’t live that way, I would be in a fetal position in my bed at all times! You’ve got this!
@@e.agoraphobicdickinsonpoet660 The halfway house is what I call the house (tongue in cheek) that I will be living in until my addition is built on my sons house. It’s the house his family will be moving out of in the next couple of weeks. He is keeping it as a rental property. I need the money from the sale of my house to build the addition. Lots of moving parts! Thanks for asking.
Hi Margaret, just met you here today on UA-cam. I work in real estate and you’re doing great with prepping your home! Also, enjoyed your sit down real life details coffee chat ! thanks for sharing your experiences and stories with us here!
Your house is really nice, neutral and not cluttered - a few tweaks and it’ll be perfect. Personally I would put some extra Knicknacks away, remove any Christmas things like the cushion and anything that suggests there’s not enough storage so yes put the rack away that us on the back of the closet door - the white blanket will look lovely on the back of the couch and tie in with the side unit (the wicker ones) if you could put plain white bedding on your bed and a matching curtain I think that would look fabulous and airy - those are my only suggestions really which says to me that the house is really really good as it is. Good luck with the sale and your new adventure - 70 is the new 40! Enjoy a fresh start - love from U.K
Hi Margaret, Your house looks so clean and well maintained. I know this is a stressful time but think of it as an exciting new chapter in your life. So many new adventures with your precious granddaughter await! Best of luck for a quick sale.🏠
Nice to stumble upon your videos. Because we are close in age and I live alone I am going to subscribe to your channel and look forward to hearing more from you.
Your house looks lovely Margaret. You have done an excellent job readying for selling. I went through this process a few years ago and despite the stress it all worked out well. I still feel proud of myself at what I accomplished and you will too, especially when settled in your halfway house and eventually your beautiful new home. Volume is fine and I haven’t noticed any lisp. Cheers!
I’m 65 and I’m old. It’s considered elderly, a senior citizen . I’m enjoying it now that I’ve embraced it. There is a difference between frail elderly and a senior ( old).
Pack the things for Dennis and give them to him later at a personal visit. Put the documents that your going to need in your underwear drawer so that you’ll know where they are. Your sound/volume is just fine. I don’t notice a “lisp” at all! Blinds down. Unfortunately people aren’t into china anymore. I think the laundry room turned out great! I also think that you did a great job at preparing your home for showing! 💕
I am almost 70 and decided to sell my house that we had built 25 years ago. Husband is now in a nursing home, so I'm doing it all. It's amazing how much stuff we have. I'm enjoying packing and giving stuff to Goodwill. But once I start going through wedding stuff, it's going to be emotional. Hang in there! We can do this.
Remember it’s only “stuff” people more important! I can easily throw a lot out. It took me a long time but I did it. Now I’m not a slave to my things! ❤
Margaret, we are in the same spot. I'm a little older than you but I put my house up for sale 2 weeks ago and it sold in 2 days. I have to be out next week. I'm glad you have everything packed so you can just pick up the rest and leave. You are a delight!
Hi Margaret sound is fine to me and what lisp 🤔 The moment you started to think about what was the desire in your heart you were emotionally out of your home and it’s so exciting . So glad to hear about your kitty😻Have a happy week
Hi Margaret, I love your name because that was my mother's name. I just stumbled on your channel, channel surfing, and I love it. I am 71 live close to Yosemite , Ca. In the process of getting our home in the mountains ready to put up for sale. It is just getting to hard for us to live the mountain life. Have lots of stuff to toss out that none of my kids want,go figure. You are a hoot to watch. You inspire me that I can do this one more time in a move. Lots of hugs ❤
Your home looks good to go - most new home owners want to paint and renovate things to their taste - its clean and well maintained so take it easy - You are such a kind heart - God Bless
Hi Margaret! House looks incredible! Just from my RE experience .give Kathy the jewelry..lol Take down the family picture and ditch the cute pillow. Keep the blanket but either drape it over the side of sofa or lay it exactly middle of back of sofa. I predict an offer within 10-14 days of listing. You rock, lady.
I’m so glad you made it through the flooded road ok! Super scary!! And glad the cat is back to normal in spite of the heartless and money motivated vet office!! I wouldn’t go to them now even if I decided to do regular visits! I would use a blanket to catch them. Larger less chance of them escaping before you can grab them. Thoughts after overview…blinds down, hanging shelf on closet door should come out because anything attached is considered to go with the house (not sure about decorative ones), put deodorant in a drawer, toothbrush and paste in cabinet if not already. Have you cleaned the blades on ceiling fan in the living room? BREATHE Margaret!! 😉👌👍💕💕💕
I haven’t looked through the comments yet so may be repeating something someone else has said. 15:23 Has that blue bottle of product got a home? 15:49 Take the basket shelf and pack it into storage. When we bought a house once it was such a welcome surprise to find there was a full set of cups plates etc. and a tray with coffee tea and sugar. Our first night we went and bought takeaway and sat down at the table and had our first meal in that house eating from that dinner set. When we sold that house we left the dinner set there with a note of why we left it behind. Things are looking good.👍
That wasn’t the popcorn; norovirus is making its rounds. Yikes! I’m nearly 82 and I’m looking for the perfect place in the closest city. I’m bored out here in the country. I intend to move first, taking only things I love. When it seems like the time, I’m hiring someone to hold an estate or moving sale and then listing the house. I’ll give my sons the plastic letter boxes where I put their diplomas, art work, baby pictures. BTW, I’m buying some new furniture. I can afford to, and it’s my money, after all.
Ideas..... love the blinds open, Nothing on the ottomon, move pillow to the couch. Remove folding chair leaning on the wall and put deodorant in the drawer. A green plant next to the "family sign". In the laundry room, put the outlet cover on so it doesn't look like a project. The house looks beautiful! Great job
❤ I really enjoyed your video today, I'm excited about your moving boy your house looks really really nice, and you did an awesome job with your patch over your washer and dryer❤ you are one amazing lady❤
Your house is looking really great. You've played a blinder considering how much you have on at the moment. Best of luck with the sale. Volume is perfect and never noticed any lisp! 🙂
Sound is great! I hear no lisp. House looks great. When I sold our house I took everything down and realtor said to add some wall art to make it homey. I think yours looks good. Take care and good luck hope your house sells fast. I think you should take the throw and pillows away. Blinds I think down. If you have a showing at nite lights on in each room.
Hi Margaret, your home is so nice and very well kept! I’m sure you will sell it fast! You asked about the sound quality of your videos. I would love it if you could adjust the volume to make it louder. I use the caption setting, but still have trouble distinguishing certain words. Maybe it’s your Boston accent, which I adore! Love all of your videos and your zest for life. Wish I had your energy! Thanks so much for another interesting video! Good luck with selling your beautiful home!🤗
So good to see you Margaret, I was starting to get a bit concerned about you. Please, leave the cream throw on your couch, it makes it more homey and warm inside. You want to not have it bare, it won’t show well. Yep! Blinds down looks really nice. It’s 12 degrees here in good ole Oklahoma, and flurries. Your house is always spotless. Looks really nice. Oh, save your jewelry for your grand daughter, as she gets a bit older she will have fun playing dress up. My grand daughter had so much fun dressing up and wearing my mom’s( GG) costume jewelry. She was like 4-5 when she started playing dress up in my gowns and mom’s jewelry. Sooo Precious. I have faith that your house is going to sale within a few weeks of being listed. Oh, are they advertising on MLS? Hope so. That Mulitple listing service it allows all brokers to see one another’s listings of properties for sale with the goal of connecting homebuyers to sellers. Ok, I’m done too.
Would you believe I forgot for a moment that I have a granddaughter who might want the stuff? Never thought I would have a grandchild!!! Good grief! It’s about 40 here now, warmed up in the last two hours, but there are snow flakes drifting about. Yes to the MLS. Thanks for checking in!
O she’s incredible 🌺 always climbing up on something or using a ladder. I’m 10 yrs younger and I can’t do those things 🤷🏼♀️ she can sit on the floor and stand back up like a 30 yr old.
You ARE NOT OLD! I am almost 72 and lately am allowing myself to feel alive, vibrant and capable of all the things I want to do. I believe when your husbands health changes you take on their condition and age without realizing. My husband is 80 and i find myself categorizing that way. Be intentionally YOUNGER!
I felt the same way with my Sons childhood memories so I photocopied the most minimal things I wanted in case my son decided to toss & just bought a small clear tote & gave it all in person to him & said here is your childhood memories in a box if one day you would like to reflect on them & just let it go & wished for the best...
This is my first time viewing your videos. I'm trying to understand what is happening so it all makes sense. I'm unsure of what you mean by a halfway house. My understanding is it's a place for those released on parole go before they are fully released, or an addict trying to stay off their addiction in an attempt to reintegrate them into society. Is that what you mean? I am glad your kitty got better. Such a stressful thing. I am definitely an animal person. It's upsetting how the vet there treated you to refuse your kitty. I'm sure it is probably very rare there but see if there's a vet near you who graduated from Texas A&M. Those are the best vets, hands down. I am exceptionally particular about vets with my fur babies. Awe, so sweet! I loved watching you & Charlie chase each other around in his spot. It made me curious about how many cameras do you use? Doing the overhead shot was perfect. I really liked the close up shovel shot as well. Do you do your own editing? I know many have someone else do theirs so they can just focus on new content.
I am being facetious when I say halfway house (and probably in poor taste). I am selling my house to pay for the in-law addition BUT need somewhere to live in the meantime…hence the name. Thanks for watching. And yes, do my own editing. I find it fairly easy.
@@MargaretbeingMargaret That is funny. At first I was like...that doesn't seem right...then I thought...well, maybe she's in England or something and perhaps it has a different meaning, lol. 🤦♀️😂 I appreciate your clarification 😄 now things make a lot more sense ☺️👌
Margaret you look great. All you're doing & going through isn't affecting you. On Dennis 's things, I'd save them. Just me who packs away stuff like that. I don't know what D thinks. You have your home looking lovely. I can't see well but just wiping as you are around door handles & light switches for spots or smudges. Yes your laundry back wall looks 100%better. Personally, I'd take down the picture by your bed with family. Definitely leaving up all scenic pics. I don't notice a lisp that's worsening at all. But as a fairly new subscriber I just take it as that's how you sound. I am hard of hearing so I have to put the volume up & add captions. So glad your kitty is better ❤. Do take care. I am a few years older than you & not in your good shape physically but as life goes I hurt my neck & still recuperating a week later. Best wishes for your photos for listing and believing you'll get better offers than expected. Thank you for sharing another video! Have a wonderful week!
Yes, the laundry area looks much better. You are making good progress and this will all soon behind you, Margaret. My god, that flood would have scared the crap out of me! Yay, the kitty is better!
I adore you, Margaret! You have 10 times the energy that i have. 😊 I am 62 and live with my husband and adult son who both work all day. It is so lonely during the day, then i found you. I may have to start a channel so people will stop thinking I'm crazy for talking to myself or my dog!😂 But compared to you i am really boring!😮
Hi Margaret! For the photos and things for your son, take photos of the most memorable items or whatever you want then give them to your son and it’s up to him what happens from there. You’re welcome. 🥰
I just found your channel & you are adorable! Will have to watch your videos to understand the back story. Must tell you to be very careful with popcorn at “our” age. I just turned 71, and had a horrible diverticulitis attack the week of Thanksgiving. Worst pain ever. I knew I had a couple of diverticuli but most people over 50 do. They say to avoid nuts and popcorn. I had eaten popcorn the day before. Wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. Your house looks perfect. I’m sure it will sell quickly.
I just found you! I am delighted! I am 75 yrs young, widow (widower?) and struggling financially to stay in my home . I actually would have no problems moving but in my very small town I don't have a lot of options. I've got to go back and watch your videos to find your story. I'm so happy to find you!!!
Margaret, I feel that the sound is fine and I'm not aware of lisp. When I moved to this in-law 24 years ago I put my china and silver out and use it. I don't have any other room to put it. Just an idea. So glad to hear your cat is better. You've done a great job on your house.
because of my hubby health issue we sold our home 18 months ago and move back near our kids I did not want the up keep of a house like lawn fixing things so we move into a apartment we waited for to get builkdt. I list my house and it sold 24 hours later with 3 differnt offer and each was above list price but at 76 and hubby 78 I made it with help if my family I left many things the new owner were using for their retired home lots of land and wanted to homestead with animals and chickens etc but they were 2 years away from retirement smart planing on their part. My apartment style in all one floor no stairs and attach garage I will we made the right thing and I am enjoy a more layback life. Hubby be 890 in May and I will be 78 in April.
Hello, Margaret! Your house is perfect for showing. I'd leave the throw on the couch. It adds a touch of coziness. You don't have to take down your rack inside the closet. Just make it clear to potential buyers that it does not stay. Your china is beautiful. I was going to suggest your DIL may like to have your set of china, but you answered that question. Your laundry room looks MUCH better. Not perfect, but I agree the volume is very low. I just crank up the laptop volume to the loudest setting and turn up the video volume and I can hear you fine then. I do not hear a lisp though. I do hear your lovely New England accent, but I haven't picked up on a lisp. It's 6 degrees here and -13 wind chill. We've had rain, freezing rain, and snow. Just enough to cover the ground. It's cold enough all I want to do is hibernate. The sun is shining brightly so I like that part. Have a great weekend. Rest up for next week! See you next time!
Your black cat is talking to you! I’m almost 70 as well. No one believes me. They still think I’m in some sort of professional learning mode because I don’t act like 70 at all or “close to 70”. Hah! Anyhow, you’re doing pretty darn well but don’t eat the crappier popcorn (get some at a health food store) and don’t eat it very often and certainly not late at night. I know so many who get sick eating it because it’s not very digestible. Be good to yourself and have way too much fun at 70, okay? 👍 👌
Hi Margaret, Please be kind to yourself! You are going through a lot right now!! In my life, from 2002 to 2022 I moved 13 times!!! I did that looking for the “perfect” job until I realized there is no perfect job. Tomorrow ( 1/15/2024) I am going to have my right knee replaced! I am a nervous wreck AND I am a very strong Christian. I know that I just need to let go and let God! I am in agreement with your mom about JFK. Personally, he is my favorite president. I have told you this before but IMO your house is very well taken care of. I believe that your house will sell very quickly!!!! I really admire the fact that you are full time caretaker of Michael’s child. You have a lot of energy!! Elizabeth
Hi Margaret great video as always. I always have to turn volume on my tablet to Max to hear you but not a problem to do that. I am 79 and probably slightly deaf anyway lolxxx
You and I are the same age. I must say, I'm jealous. Here I sit with a bum knee, waiting for Ortho visit on the 22nd. I fear a knee replacement is looking at me. Ugh. You move around so well. Gotta go back in videos to find out where you're going. Moving is such a job!
Lol, I KNOW I need hearing aides, yet I hear you fine! I've also noticed no lisp. People are weird, but then... so am I. Keep on moving Margaret, my best wishes for you in Christs power alone
I have the same stove - approx. 28 yrs.old - and you can change the time of the oven cleaning. The automatic time is 4+ hours, but I just set it for 2 hours - and it works just the same! I have a complete set of Royal Doulton china - service for 10 - and I haven't used it in about 10 years. We used to entertain quite a bit (mostly business) and I used it all the time, along with silverware and crystal. I bought it right after I came to the US in 1982. In the UK and Australia we used Scandinavian style dishes - but when I came here, my neighbors were amazed that as a Brit I didn't have the fancy stuff and I was intimidated into buying some! No one seems to use it anymore - how times change. I would sell it in a heartbeat, but my husband thinks my Son and DIL would like it. He's completely wrong -they aren't interested - but for some reason is dead against me selling it. You've done really well getting the house in order - hope it continues to go well!
I had no idea you can change the cleaning time. Shows you how often I have done it! LOL. I really don’t understand why anyone would use fine china anymore. It’s a lot of work. Thanks so much for posting.
I'm on disability benefits and my brother help me out. I can't drive do to eyesight. I'm in my 40s, I rent my family's rent house wich is in a trust fund. That being said, I take care of everything. What I get litte I get from government doesn't alway help. The 3 bedroom, one bath 100s yrs old house with firewall, old 100yrs old window and up keep is more then both me and my brother can handle. I'm tired of trying to help him with up keep on yard. I definitely understand, we are both tired of the house and dealing with family member who won't allow my brother name on house. So taxes are very pricey. I put my name on a waiting list for low income apartments, and he's saving up for an RV. I have been slowly getting rid of stuff I don't need,do this sometimes twice a year.
❤❤ stay stress free ! Enjoy your beautiful grandbaby. They will stage your beautiful place. Oh do a snoop in the attack.. Make sure your renter is ready also. Stay safe & warm.
Yes, blinds down but open, maybe put the throw somewhere else in a drawer. Karate chop the throw pillows on the couch, put your purse and water bottle in a cupboard or something. A vase and flowers might look good on your kitchen counter where it says Family.
Hi Margaret. Think of saving the china for your granddaughter, she may really want it. Also put jewelry in a pretty box and she can play "princess jewels" with you when she is a toddler and beyond❤😂🎉
Put throw away, blinds down but open, Christmas pillow goes away, pictures down ~ you've done well. Om 72 headed to divorce and a move/house sale in the next few months. Its a good thing, God is opening doors ~ best wishes ~ ❤
Your sound is fine...it's lower than some others...but I can hear you fine with and without my headphones. You sound very calm and your voice is soothing. All the best to you.
Take better care of yourself lady. I know inside you feel like 25, with all those projects, but you need to make sure to rest and eat healthy and take care. Everything is going to be fine. Your house is always immaculate, even if you don't think so. I'm sure your property will sell quicker than you think. I used to sell Real Estate years ago and believe me your house will show just great, most people don't put the effort in. We are in the middle of the Artic Blast here in SE Indiana, but luckily just a little skift of snow. Try to relax, breathe, it will all work out. If no one wants your china set, I would leave it at the house with a note to the new owners, who knows they may want it... just a thought.
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately I have always had only one speed…full throttle! I drive everyone around me crazy!🤷♀️. I would rather have a little snow (emphasis on LITTLE) than the Arctic Blast. Please keep that over there!
Oh Margaret the house looks great 👍 Sound is fine my end and definitely don’t hear a lisp. Nooo don’t go into the seller …. You do make me laugh. Have a great week with your darling granddaughter xx
@@carolescharactersmaybe autocorrect “helped” a bit too. It’s always giving me the wrong spelling or a word I didn’t want to use. I use the predictive keyboard with my Apple devices and sometimes it will put out the word I want, I go to tap it and it gets moved into another section (there’s three). Not helpful at all.
Sound is good for me. I would take the picture down over the bed. the blinds look better down. The photographer will give suggestions on what to leave out if you aren't sure. (they did for us, although we had most everything put away, even in a drawer for photos). It will all work out just fine. We lived in our house during the time it was being shown, so sometimes it wasn't perfect.
@@MargaretbeingMargaret we sold our house 2 years ago. Planned to move to another state next to the one we were living inPut the house up for sale on November 11. Closed December 16th and moved to another state December 27th with the moving van arriving that morning and we each drove our cars It was more hectic to get our rental house in the other state arranged as we were both working full time from home.
Just found your video, so I have a few questions, but first I want to say, your house looks lovely, the volume is perfect and I am 82 years old so my hearing isn’t that great anymore but I did not have to turn my volume up, and I do not hear a lisp. I like it better when the blinds are down and I don’t know where you live, but where I live down here in Savannah with the way, the market is a lot of things are being overlooked by buyers as far as what you have on the walls and stuff like that. I always thought that if I walked into a house and it was so bare and it looked so cold. I always like to go in to see a home that’s lived in and comfy. But I guess nowadays things are changed. You mentioned somewhere in your video about going to a halfway house and I don’t understand what that Is. Maybe you mean it’s halfway between where you are now and where you’re going lol anyway, I wish you all the luck and I am going to subscribe.
Thank you so much for subscribing! You nailed it…I am being irreverent about the “halfway house”. It is a temporary rental until we build my apt over the garage at my son’s house. Have to get my house sold to afford the build!
just discovered your channel...good luck on your sale of your home and the move...I 'm also a "Margaret" but lack your fantastic sense of humor...Best Wishes for a fantastic day!
Volume is fine…. I’m use to hearing a slight lisp my husbands dentures do that to him. He has gone back to the dentist three times to have them re-fitted and they still don’t fit properly and he paid almost $6000 for that set!absolutely ridiculous. Put every light on in the house even if it’s bright outside ….I’d take the shelf off… I’m betting the house sells quick … is your tenant staying ? I guess that’s important …. I cannot wait till the spring when we put up our house … I want to move closer to my youngest .. she’s in Weymouth . It’s weird weather today .. we hit snow then rain a bit if thunder and wind .. cold wind too.
I dread dealing with refitting. The tenant does hope to stay, she’s willing to live in either apartment. I agree about the weather…it has decided to snow right now!
Your kitchen is so pretty! Sounds like you might have had food poison from the popcorn...don't know for sure. You sound very happy! I gave my daughter all the pictures I didn't want and if she tosses them that's ok. I know what it's like to have too much stuff. I downsized so my storing is limited and why store things anyway at my age.😂
Margaret, your volume is perfect. I can turn you up and I can turn you down. This is not a sophisticated computer. If I can do it... Your "lisp" doesn't sound lispy at all, just a charming speech element. Your house, of course, looks great. I think the laundry room patch job came out amazing! I would leave it up to the realtor showing the house whether the blinds are up or down. I would open them up and let all the light in. Makes the room look bigger. Somebody is out there looking for that china. It's lovely. Don't dump it. Can you have an estate sale when you're alive and well? That sort of thing will SELL. Leave the throw on the couch. It doesn't look like an old blanket. In Boca, you see cashmere throws over sofas in all seasons. You're so ahead of the game on this. Just don't go sailing off the road in rotten weather. PS: Is your tenant going to be able to clear out when the house is shown? I hope. Hang in there kiddo! Get some rest. We're all rootin' for ya!
Lol, thanks Ellen. I was upstairs today for the attic access and she has done an admirable job cleaning up, I think the realtor will let her know what he needs her to do. She really wants to stay in the house, so she will be amenable to what they suggest. Take care!
I just subscibed to your channel. I'm delighted to listen and watch all your tasks you've decided to do! I have adult children with all there baby books at my house. I know I need to give them to each my daughters. I think your son would be delighted to receive his baby book, I bet his heart would well up with so much love. You've given me that nudge I need to get there baby books done so I can give them as Christmas gifts. Your home looks lovely nothing needs to be done. Everything looks in order! P.S. Gal I'm here to give you some sound advice. Always... lock your front door when you walk inside your home. I noticed you just walked in with no concern for your safety at home. Please be mindful of your safety at all times. Think security at all times.
lol. Most times I don’t even close the door. I have been lucky to live in a very safe area with vigilant neighbors. Thank you SO much for joining us and thanks for posting.
I don't hear a lisp..it looks better with. The blind down..place looks wonderful. I don't think it matters if the blanket is on the couch. And your sound is great
The house looks wonderful. You've done well. I think the volume is fine and I don't notice any changes in your speech. Try to relax. Gosh, you've earned a rest!
Margaret, You are so lively and have a wonderful sense of humor so STOP saying you are "getting freakin old"! I am 10 years older than you and I know getting things done takes a little longer but I feel being in your company is a hoot and you are NOT old- you are delightful!
Oh thank you!
- Belinda
Thanks for the feedback!
LET GO. ❤❤❤
Great advise
Excellent advice.
They say you spend the first 45 years aquiring things and the next 45 trying to get rid of it all 😂😂😂
Yup!
Yuck. Does not sound like fun!
I'm doing the same thing. Got an offer so hopefully it will close at the end of the month. The photographes make a big difference. Good luck
@@debbywickman1103 I got an offer on the first showing, it’s amazing how many of us are doing the same thing. 🌺
Yay.
Good to know! Thank you so much!
Great comments 😊❤ good luck with your sale. Looks perfect. 😊
I’m pretty sure there’s more than 3 of us in this particular crowd! 😜😂
Me to! Glad I'm not alone in this. Maybe if I wait long enough my daughter will gettired of looking at it and take it down for me. 😅
Can I ask where you are moving? What is the halfway house?🤷♀️ Your house looks lovely, btw.
Lol. I saw that you are in Real Estate and my first thought was…ut oh, now I’ll hear the truth! Thanks for joining us!
New to your channel. Just turned 60 recently and life is definitely changing. Enjoyed getting to know you a bit today.
Thanks and welcome aboard!
Great post and nice ideas. Thanks,
You do so much , it amazes me how a 70 year old can do all you do I just turned 70 and I watch you and get inspired
love the positive comment! We are capable of so much more than we think! Go for it!
Hi Margaret, Your house looks so clean and well maintained. I know this is a stressful time but think of it as an exciting new chapter in your life. So many new adventures with your precious granddaughter await! Best of luck for a quick sale.🏠
Thank you so much 😊
The volume is fine. No lisping sound! House looks beautiful! 💕💕
Ok thanks!
Wow, everything looks amazing. You did a great job volumes fine and I don't hear a lisp. Your home is absolutely spotless. I love it.😊

Greetings from San Francisco! Just came across your channel. It’s delightful! I wish you all the best with the move. By the way I love your china!
Thank you and welcome aboard
Just found your channel and I really enjoyed this video! Can’t wait to have some time to binge watch.
Hope you enjoy!
Nice to stumble upon your videos. Because we are close in age and I live alone I am going to subscribe to your channel and look forward to hearing more from you.
Welcome aboard! Make sure you keep posting and add to the conversations.
Cheers!
Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for your post. Love it!
Sound is fine. Ignore the moaners😊❤ house looks ready for sale. Perfect.😊
You have a much tougher road than I. My wedding stuff was the easy part. Best wishes on this difficult journey
@@mariloubircher1805 WOW! Are you going crazy try8ng to get everything done? Congratulations!
Wow that must be hard by yourself! Where will you go, to a condo or apartment?
Hi Margaret sound is fine to me and what lisp 🤔 The moment you started to think about what was the desire in your heart you were emotionally out of your home and it’s so exciting . So glad to hear about your kitty😻Have a happy week
Great to hear from you!
Thank you so much! Welcome and thanks for posting!
Yes, I agree, blinds down..😀😀
Your home looks good to go - most new home owners want to paint and renovate things to their taste - its clean and well maintained so take it easy - You are such a kind heart - God Bless
It’s a two family so I’m not sure how much someone will be willing to do. Thanks for your post!
New member here - you are adorable!! Love your home!! The volume is just fine and I'm not hearing a lisp at all. Great job
Welcome!! Thanks for posting. Keep the comments coming!
Your house looks great Margaret, spotless. I wish I had half your energy. Prayers for a timely sell on your house. Enjoy that baby❤
Thank you so much!
Hi Margaret! House looks incredible! Just from my RE experience .give Kathy the jewelry..lol
Take down the family picture and ditch the cute pillow. Keep the blanket but either drape it over the side of sofa or lay it exactly middle of back of sofa. I predict an offer within 10-14 days of listing. You rock, lady.
Ok will do Thanks!
The volume is definitely fine and I love the slight lisp. No complaints by me. Good luck with the sale! 👍🏽
Such great questions! I didn’t think about the deodorant and toothpaste. That makes sense! Blades have been cleaned. Thank you!
Things are looking good.👍
Thanks for your thoughts. I’ll check them out! What a great story. Maybe I’ll leave my china!!!!
Sounds phenomenal! Enjoy!
I’m never bored in the country. Funny how different we all are.
This is my first time seeing you . Volume is great. I didn’t even know or could tell you had dentures. You are so nice.
Thanks and welcome. Hope you subscribe and stay with us !
Ideas..... love the blinds open, Nothing on the ottomon, move pillow to the couch. Remove folding chair leaning on the wall and put deodorant in the drawer. A green plant next to the "family sign". In the laundry room, put the outlet cover on so it doesn't look like a project. The house looks beautiful! Great job
Thanks for the tips!
I'll be 70 in July! Looking to move into my own apartment in July. I really hate moving, but hopefully, this will be my last move!! I can relate!!
Good for you! Keep us in the loop!

Thanks for listening
Your house is looking really great. You've played a blinder considering how much you have on at the moment. Best of luck with the sale. Volume is perfect and never noticed any lisp! 🙂
I learned a new phrase! Play a blinder. Thank you!
Sounds great!
Oh thank you! I will tweak the volume!
I’m 51 and haven’t learned yet, you give me hope 😂😉
Well at least that’s something! LOL
What energy! I am amazed.
It’s really just stubbornness.
I felt the same way with my Sons childhood memories so I photocopied the most minimal things I wanted in case my son decided to toss & just bought a small clear tote & gave it all in person to him & said here is your childhood memories in a box if one day you would like to reflect on them & just let it go & wished for the best...
great idea.
@@MargaretbeingMargaret
That is funny.
Great post. Thank you so much for your input!
Yes, the laundry area looks much better. You are making good progress and this will all soon behind you, Margaret. My god, that flood would have scared the crap out of me! Yay, the kitty is better!
Nice to see your post. Thanks!
You're welcome. ☺ I was the one who suggested the spackle.😊 It does look a million times better.
Thanks again! It was a good call!

Thank you!
But at least you’re not crazy!
Hi Margaret! For the photos and things for your son, take photos of the most memorable items or whatever you want then give them to your son and it’s up to him what happens from there. You’re welcome. 🥰
Hello Margret, Your volume is perfect. Wouldn’t want it any louder. You’re doing a fine job. Take care.
Good to know!
Thank you so much for joining us! I didn’t think of that with the popcorn! Think after being so sick, I will willingly give it up!
I just found you! I am delighted! I am 75 yrs young, widow (widower?) and struggling financially to stay in my home . I actually would have no problems moving but in my very small town I don't have a lot of options. I've got to go back and watch your videos to find your story. I'm so happy to find you!!!
also, sometimes people have to go on antibiotics with diverticulitis, so keep this in mind!
Margaret, I feel that the sound is fine and I'm not aware of lisp. When I moved to this in-law 24 years ago I put my china and silver out and use it. I don't have any other room to put it. Just an idea. So glad to hear your cat is better. You've done a great job on your house.
Maureen, you are a better woman than I. I can barely be trusted to wash Tupperware! Thanks for posting. Hope your New Year is going well.
because of my hubby health issue we sold our home 18 months ago and move back near our kids I did not want the up keep of a house like lawn fixing things so we move into a apartment we waited for to get builkdt.
Thank you for sharing. Sounds wonderful!
Thank you for your post. I think I will tweak the sound on the next video, let me know if it helps. Stay warm!
Great comments. Cold here in Devon, England too. Spring just around the corner fingers crossed. Love to all. 😊❤

Hi Margaret,
Please be kind to yourself!
Elizabeth

Welcome!! (and thank you)
Your house looks great as usual...blinds down 😊 the sound is perfectly fine on my end, and I don't hear you speaking differently.
Good to know! Thanks!
You and I are the same age. I must say, I'm jealous. Here I sit with a bum knee, waiting for Ortho visit on the 22nd. I fear a knee replacement is looking at me. Ugh. You move around so well. Gotta go back in videos to find out where you're going. Moving is such a job!
Get the knee done. Everyone who has done it is happier. Thanks for your post!
Lol, I KNOW I need hearing aides, yet I hear you fine! I've also noticed no lisp. People are weird, but then... so am I.
Keep on moving Margaret, my best wishes for you in Christs power alone
Thanks!
Absolutely no lisp. House looks beautiful. To much popcorn is not good. It is difficult to digestion, I can no longer eat it for that reason.
Thanks for the post. It’ll be a long time before I eat popcorn again!!

In fairness - In only just realized this! I thought I'd try and see if you could. and it worked!@@MargaretbeingMargaret
Sounds like a plan. Hope it happens sooner than later for you.
❤❤ stay stress free ! Enjoy your beautiful grandbaby. They will stage your beautiful place. Oh do a snoop in the attack.. Make sure your renter is ready also. Stay safe & warm.
Thank you Margaret
You are so welcome
Yes, blinds down but open, maybe put the throw somewhere else in a drawer. Karate chop the throw pillows on the couch, put your purse and water bottle in a cupboard or something. A vase and flowers might look good on your kitchen counter where it says Family.
Wait til you see the photos. (I can’t wait). Photographer said blinds all the way up!
Hi Margaret. Think of saving the china for your granddaughter, she may really want it. Also put jewelry in a pretty box and she can play "princess jewels" with you when she is a toddler and beyond❤😂🎉
Great ideas!
Put throw away, blinds down but open, Christmas pillow goes away, pictures down ~ you've done well. Om 72 headed to divorce and a move/house sale in the next few months. Its a good thing, God is opening doors ~ best wishes ~ ❤
Glad it’s a good thing for you. Life is full of surprises! Thanks for the feedback and keep us in the loop!
Your sound is fine...it's lower than some others...but I can hear you fine with and without my headphones. You sound very calm and your voice is soothing. All the best to you.
Everytime someone says I sound calm I crack up! Happy you think so!
Oh Margaret the house looks great 👍
Sound is fine my end and definitely don’t hear a lisp.
Nooo don’t go into the seller …. You do make me laugh. Have a great week with your darling granddaughter xx
I didn’t check out the cellar…Not going to ruin my day!
@@MargaretbeingMargaret haha …. I knew I had spelt cellar wrong 😑 but I just couldn’t get my head around it for some reason 🙄 xx
Good to know. Thanks for posting!
But it must have felt so good to get it done!
Sound is good!
I can hear you and your home looks 👍 great
Good to hear!
Blinds down you sound great 💕
Thanks!
just discovered your channel...good luck on your sale of your home and the move...I 'm also a "Margaret" but lack your fantastic sense of humor...Best Wishes for a fantastic day!
Thanks so much! 😊 Hope you stick around and keep posting!
That’s how I feel, too.
Take care!
Your house looks great and I prefer the blinds down. The volume is fine for me and I have not noticed a lisp. 🙂
Good to know!
Thanks so much for your post!
Careful putting stuff in a safe place. Every time I move it to a safe place I forget where that is and always look where I had it to begin with.
Oh, you just described my entire life!
