Love the layout. ❤️ A tiny suggestion….try the ladder with the blankets over on the short wall beside the new entry table. Brings the colour over that way and fills the empty wall. It looks a tiny bit crowded with everything on the tv wall. When you take the tree down, either make yourself a tall DIY planter using outside branches (the same colour as your pallet actually) in a pot and put little twinkle lights on it and leave it up. Not a lot of twinkle lights but a short strand. Lights up the corner and adds a little light. We put Mickey Mouse twinkle lights on our tree and it looks pretty cool. And for the different seasons, I add hearts, or bunny images, flowers or autumn leaves. It’s on a timer so it comes on at dusk and goes off at 10 pm. Google DIY tree. Nice job Momma!
I'm 56 and live in a rather large single family home and I absolutely LOVE all your videos, ideas, and what you've done to your sweet home... It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL and you are absolutely AMAZING!!❤ I do have one suggestion and that is to keep one of your end tables and use it next to your sofa, on the side of the couch where you moved your tree.. You can place a lamp on it, some family pictures and your family/company would have another surface for drinks or something. Then you wouldn't need a floor lamp in the corner. Please lmk if you like this idea. Love you and your channel!!🦋
Love love everything you’ve done. The only thing I would adjust is moving the sectional in a little more so when you walk in the door it’s not so close. It’s all so beautiful
The living room is lovely! The only change I would make is push your sectional more into the living room away from the door- 1. It allows more clearance 2. It will save the back of your sectional from dirt and grime from hands (who won’t use the back of the sectional to hold onto to remove or put on shoes or bump against as you take out trash or haul in grocery bags or their items?) and dust coming from the opening and closing of your doors. Your home has come such a long way from when you took possession of it and your style has certainly evolved too!
Kristin - it is absolutely lovely and that side table is perfect! Since you asked - quick suggestions. First, I would move the sofa a few inches closer to the tv to give a little more clearance to the entry. A pretty peg board on the wall next to the door would be great. Second - a floor lamp next to the couch where the tree is would be great. After you move the tree, I would move the blanket ladder and basket for balance to the other side of the tv and put a nice floor plant to help soften the space and bring in some color. You could even get an uplight behind the plant. Have a great day!
That turned out soooo beautiful! Well done girl. Google how to put pool noodle pieces between your curtain pleats. I cut my pieces about 3 inches and put them between the pleats. The curtains hang so much nicer. When you take your tree down maybe you could put up an artificial ficus or fiddle leaf tree. Have a happy week. ♥️🦋🦋🦋
I love it, everything looks so much nicer. I couldn't imagine what it would look like but you did an excellent job. That's a great idea about a plant but I can also see a nice lamp there too. You might end up pushing your couch closer to your tree to have a wider entry. And then once you get a different mat that will look super nice. You can get some nice shoe and boot trays now that don't look so bad. 💕💕👏👏🦋🦋
🦋💙🦋 LOVE IT THIS WAY!!! Yes, like someone said, a little tree like olive or ficus with white like to replace the Christmas tree that way you'd be able to keep your sparkle up all year round! Love ya Kel!!❤❤❤
I absolutely love the new arrangement of the furniture! I love the curtains and the entryway table too 😊 I agree with some other comments that maybe get a really nice fake tree to put in the corner once you take out the Christmas tree...you could even add fairy lights to the fake tree/plant. If I may make a suggestion, maybe just scoot the sofa a little more towards the TV, that way it's not right up against where the door is at. Other than that, it absolutely looks great! 🦋
It’s turned out lovely Kelly👌🏼 my only suggestion would be put a spare scrap of 2x4 under the the window behind the couch, to act as a spacer for your curtains to hang naturally without the couch sliding back into them. Seriously it looks so homey and welcoming.
This looks great Kelly! I’m old enough to be your momma, but your energy inspires me! As a mom, I know your mother must be so proud of you. An idea about that corner would definitely a floor lamp, but why not add some great indoor plants! That’s a great window to utilize!
I second all of this! I, too, am old enough to be your momma. I have so much inspiration from you. 4 years later, my countertops are just as wonderful as when I tried your DYI. ❤
Looks great! I would move the couch a little ways from the front door though. You’ll have an issue with the couch getting dirty when people come on the door.
I love the final makeover. Turning the furniture around made such a difference. Just a friendly reminder, when you get a moment you should add some weatherstripping to the front door to prevent air coming in along with creepy crawlers. I'm sure you have thought of this already. Have a blessed week. ❤️🙏
Looks so nice. Unsolicited suggestion…..when you take down your tree push your couch down about 12-15”. Will open up your entry way a bit more. You’ve done a great job creating a cozy, welcoming home. 🦋
Your house is looking great Kelly! Love the new living room look. Suggestion: Put the pillows in a basket that are on your new entry table. It'll polish the look. Enjoy your week 🦋
Kelly , thank you so much for sharing the tip for hanging a mirror 🪞 r whatever by placing tape on the back and punching a hole where the nail will go. This is just in time for me, after I paint a picture frame then putting my grand babies pictures in. On the wall it goes . I’m excited ❤
BE CAREFUL, it looked like your long runner rug is slippery on your floor. Maybe you can get some two sided tape to fix that issue. I love how you decorated your home❤❤
🦋 the living room turned out beautiful. As you live with it a while you will probably make some tweaks. I think you will need to move the couch a few inches to give the door entry a little more space. I like the runner there, but between the vent location and the door pushing it, maybe some kind of mat would be an option. Having something there would be functional to catch any tracked in dirt. Your vision for your space and determination are amazing.
🦋 EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!!! I love the entryway table and mirror!! I want one!! After you take your tree down, one of those fiddle leaf fig trees ( fake) in a wicker basket would be really cute in that corner!!
You made an excellent, excellent choice to move your living room around!! I cannot believe the difference it makes !! Seriously makes it so much more cozy, it looks like it flows so much better ! I really really love it ! The curtains just make it all come together, and totally warms up the space ! Oh if you move your sofa just a little bit towards your tv, you could put a sofa table behind it, along the back side like where your door is. More storage, another area to decorate, just a thought 🙂 Oh can you put carpet tape on that rug so it doesn't move? That might help! I was wondering about the baseboard, when you do that...I think that'll be another thing when done...it'll be like everything just comes together with a finished look ! I literally can't wait to see all these great things you're doing with your home!! Love love love !! 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
The living room turned out so cozy and beautiful just add two baskets on the bottom shelf of the entry table with the cushions inside with a throw cover that's gives an elegant looks thanks to sharing your awesome video.
Lovely, Kelly. I agree with the comment that the TV wall looks crowded. Moving the ladder would help. As for a replacement for the Christmas tree, I would suggest a large maybe glass (pale blue-greenish) with really large leaf in it. I’ve seen it in decorating magazines lately. Some green “nature” would brighten and warm things up. Wish I knew how to add a photo to my post!🦋🦋🦋
You did great Kelly, it’s giving that cozy and warm vibe! Thanks for the motivation, now I want to change around my living room 😂. Have a great week 🦋🦋🦋🦋
Looks fantastic! One suggestion:you may want to keep an end table because when you take your Christmas tree down you will probably want some light in that corner. So save an end table and lamp for that.
Great job!…. As for the Christmas tree, I just think of mine now as a holiday tree and decorate for each season. Right now it has Valentin’s deco. So, it never gets put away.
Love your room! Lovethe entryway table. Love the rug idea. But get another entry table for behind the couch. Tou will need to push the sofa forward a little. Just use a smaller rug at front door. Curtains! Yah! Scoot the sofa out from the wall about a foot.
Love this arrangement so much better. You could put something small at the end of the sofa so you could set a drink or something on, it wouldn’t have to be an end table. 🦋
I’m so loving how your home is coming along, you should move the rug in had by the front door to the kitchen like in front of the sink just a idea. But so love how you changed the living room around 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Looks great ❤. Awesome job. They have little corner things to keep your area rug. It maybe too light for that. But Amazon has them. It really looks fantastic. 🦋🦋🦋
Looks good. Need things for the walls. Amazon has a clock where it's just the hands and numbers that you put on the wall. Can make it as big or small as you want. It's practical, fills up wall space, and affordable...and pretty cool too 😊
It looks great. It actually looks bigger now, and the room has more definition. For what to put where the tree is, I would do a wooden spindle floor lamp or possibly another matching cabinet.
Everything looks great Kelly. I know you must feel so accomplished. You have done so well for you and your children. Perhaps, a small accent chair or rocking chair with a small table & lamp in the corner. Just a small side place for yourself or a guest. It would be really cute. 🦋🫶. Have a great week.
Like the new look for the living room, once you do take down the Christmas tree you could put an end table and maybe a bean bag for a reading area for the kids.
Your house looks really nice. It looks very cozy and warm. Can’t wait to see your next video. Your decorations look so pretty. Have a blessed Sunday.🦋❤️
Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I’m so happy for you that you are finally rearranging the living room the way that you want it. ❤ I love how you organize your boys gaming equipment and your chargers in baskets that way they won’t break easily and they are organized and not all over your house. ❤🦋🦋🦋🦋
It looks so good Kelly! I love the drapes. Make sure the couch is out enough not to mash them. I do think you need to move the mirror down still. It should be eye level in the middle of the mirror. Everything looks so good. I really like this arrangement. I love all of your videos. Can’t wait to see what you do next.🦋
🦋 I would pull the couch out just a little bit away from the window so it's not tight against the curtains..as a mom I remember doing this and kids would get to jumping around on couch and down came curtains..just a thought😊
Love the layout. ❤️ A tiny suggestion….try the ladder with the blankets over on the short wall beside the new entry table. Brings the colour over that way and fills the empty wall. Love it!! You could get a nice artificial tree (ficus, palm, etc) to warm that corner up when you take the Christmas tree down!!
Olive trees are a nice touch to a room also. 😊

I love how the living room turned out! 🦋

Looks great! Maybe put some tall greenery on entry table.
Butterfly 🦋 beautiful outfit you're wearing 🦋

Looks great! You could put double barn doors over the opening your homeschool room. 🦋
🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 beautiful! After the tree you could always put your throw ladder there!
You’re a very handy and independent! Way to go! Looks great. Butterflies 🦋
I really like the division between the living room and the school room . The living room is so soft looking and peaceful....hugs
I love the new layout of your living room.❤ It's so cozy and inviting. You've done an awesome job! 🦋🙂
Beautiful living room 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Definitely option 3 or 4. Your house is beautiful!
It looks great. It actually looks bigger now, and the room has more definition.
For what to put where the tree is, I would do a wooden spindle floor lamp or possibly another matching cabinet.
I like this arrangement much better. It looks more cozy and comfortable.
I love the room it actually looks so much bigger.
Everything looks beautiful! I think a pottery vase with greenery would be pretty in front of mirror. It is beautiful! Thanks Kelly Jennifer 🦋

Like the new look for the living room, once you do take down the Christmas tree you could put an end table and maybe a bean bag for a reading area for the kids.
🦋
Love the new living room set up, 🦋🦋🦋🦋
🦋 Beautiful! Carpet tape the underside corners of the runner rug in front of the door.
It looks so so good. I wasn’t sure on the change but everything looks so balanced and perfect. 🦋🦋🦋
Love the look. Baseboards or quarter round would really finish the look of the floors in your home as well.
Love the way your living room turned out
Love the way you turned the sofa around that was a good choice it came out perfect
Wasn’t sure i would like this set up more than how it was but it turned out so much better!!
I love this! The space is definitely well used now! Maybe one of those bigger lamps with a big shade for the corner... 🦋
Love it.. a swing basket chair would look great in the corner when you take down the tree! Reading nook..
Just love the new things you do 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Your house looks really nice. It looks very cozy and warm. Can’t wait to see your next video. Your decorations look so pretty. Have a blessed Sunday.🦋❤️

Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I’m so happy for you that you are finally rearranging the living room the way that you want it. ❤ I love how you organize your boys gaming equipment and your chargers in baskets that way they won’t break easily and they are organized and not all over your house. ❤🦋🦋🦋🦋

🦋 I would pull the couch out just a little bit away from the window so it's not tight against the curtains..as a mom I remember doing this and kids would get to jumping around on couch and down came curtains..just a thought😊
🦋 I'm enjoying watching you organize your home!
