@@NoUserU Ice-shroom having the same name genuinely saves him from being a Tier 3 plant, unlike Mega Gatling Pea, who’s a Tier 3 plant because he differs from PvZ1 Gatling Pea name-wise, and because PvZ2 China has proved that Gatling Pea could’ve existed in PvZ2 as Gatling Pea. Explode-o-nut would’ve been a Tier 2 plant as well if he was unlocked/was purchasable in the shop, and had a function as a plant outside of Wall-nut Bowling

Really glad to be part of this wonderful journey back to PvZ2, and splitting up all the usable plants into tiers for these expansions was a pretty creative way of spicing things up. That being said, I can't wait to do this with only Tier 1 stuff. :3

Beating WW Day 35 in general is one thing. It being possible by only using PvZ1 Plants AND without Boosts is extra satisfying, at least for the case of this challenge where Conveyor Belt levels are stupid. Excellent job, man!

Popcap is so generous!!!!!!!! Also this video is really good, literally no idea how you beat Wild West day 35 without boosts or levels, AND without pvz2 plants. It took me boosting my entire zen garden and leveling up my plants… to die on phase 3 :)

Quick tip for wild west day 35 use spikeweed's plant food to stun zomboss so that gargs can damage him more also if a chicken bites a hypno shroom hypno shroom doesnt actually die instead it hypnotizes the chicken without dying
Tbh I couldn’t believe that it is possible to beat Wild West day 35 with only pvz 1 plants cuz it was stupidly difficult since he rocket spams and the horrible rocket rng is what caused most of my runs to lose he would just simply jump around, rocket anything I had, spawn zombies when he destroys all of my plants before I could do anything to get value out of the hypno shroom and he will repeatedly rocket all my plants and all I could do was watch myself die

ive beaten wild west day 31 many times and this is how i do it : 1. ALWAYS put celery at the back, you need space at the front for shadow shrooms and stalias 2. bonk choy at front 3. try to use the minimal amount of instas, if not any, except if your conveyor belt is full (same applies to pf) OR 4. poncho = shadow shroom 5. plant food shadow shroom on flag 1 6. and finally spam the hell outta ur instas at the final wave (also pf your shadow shrooms) also btw idk if this workss but for day 32 of ww you can try all potato mine bc all primal potato mine works

There should be extra dialogue for when zomboss calls out leveled plants being OP, if you only used level 1 plants like: "How the (insert demonetization duck here) did you beat this level without leveling your bloody plants?"

Ice Bloom still would work as a replacement to Ice Shroom, as Ice Shroom acts as a Moonflower for Ice Plants, way different than it's PVZ1 counterpart. Cactus still works because it's still shooting thorns at zombies, it's just been upgraded.

I just realized how OP scaredy shroom is in these challenges. Normally you just use peashooter and it works, or whatever better version you have, but with the added limitations, and no leveled plants, having a puff shroom that can do peashooter damage for 1/4 the cost is really broken. #scaredyshroomhasapurposewhoooo! I just wish that getting seedium plants wasn't that grindy, and that there aren't pay-to-get plants.
In pirate seas, day 29 is possible (I did it) Although day 29 is incredibly stupidly hard., and day 31 you may need tallnut so they can’t jump over the flowers (although this will limit your plants) . Hoped this helped👍

i have heard of YFM, and have seen some good videos revolving the topic. i only listened to a few of their tracks growing up, so i don’t have as much nostalgia for them than other people do, but i’ll keep this comment in mind :)

There should be extra dialogue for when zomboss calls out leveled plants being OP, if you only used level 1 plants like: "How the (insert demonetization duck here) did you beat this level without leveling your bloody plants?"

Ice Bloom still would work as a replacement to Ice Shroom, as Ice Shroom acts as a Moonflower for Ice Plants, way different than it's PVZ1 counterpart. Cactus still works because it's still shooting thorns at zombies, it's just been upgraded.

I just realized how OP scaredy shroom is in these challenges. Normally you just use peashooter and it works, or whatever better version you have, but with the added limitations, and no leveled plants, having a puff shroom that can do peashooter damage for 1/4 the cost is really broken. #scaredyshroomhasapurposewhoooo!
I just wish that getting seedium plants wasn't that grindy, and that there aren't pay-to-get plants.
Scaredy in this run completely powercreeps Peashooter. the only thing Peashooter has over Scaredy is not hiding when zombies get close
In pirate seas, day 29 is possible (I did it) Although day 29 is incredibly stupidly hard., and day 31 you may need tallnut so they can’t jump over the flowers (although this will limit your plants) . Hoped this helped👍
