What is your favorite Minimalist food shopping tip?
I have been meal planning and shopping with a list for over 30 yrs. If something is on a good sale and I use it frequently I buy 2 extra. I have saved a lot of money over the years by shopping this way 👍🏼

Start and stockpile beans, lentils, rice, pasta, purchase meats on sale and buy seasonal produce. Keep a cupboard for all baking supplies. Grow some fresh herbs in a kitchen window. This will always keep your budget in check.

Your ALDIs must be different than mine. I was there this morning and left so frustrated. It was crowded and there is no guarantee they will have the same products from week to week. I only go to ALDIs if I’m In a great mood and I’m not shopping for our main groceries. But great tips not the less.

I shop at both Aldi and Woolies. I have my list on our Keep app, then when I get to Aldi, I look up the item on the Woolies app and compare prices - putting it in my trolley if cheaper at Aldi or waiting for Woolies if it's cheaper there. It certainly saves my husband and I a fair bit to do it this way. I never assume that things are cheaper at Aldi - though their advertising would like people to believe this.
I realise that not everyone is able to shop at 2 different stores, but for me, it works.
Agreed, it's always a great idea to compare prices 🥰 Things can vary so much depending on where you live too. It's always smart to never assume what is cheapest and always check to compare prices 😊Thanks for sharing 🥰

I didnt get the packing the groceries, because do people not lode their grocery cart and than pack somewhere else and not the same time as the cashier is scanning everything?, i didnt know people get through that much stress😂😂 have never done it
Aldi certainly is different haha 😆 Haha just yesterday I saw a couple have absolutely no idea what to do packing wise lol (they had a huge trolley full and when the cashier started scanning items at lighting speed they were wide-eyed and flailing around trying to pack everything). They cashier politely asked them to just pop everything back in the trolley and go to the re-packing area twice lol.
