Very nice; best rendering of a Goose for sim. I like the water effects in this one. My only comment is that I recall when Goose is in the water, it will lean on one float or the other. I cannot recall it so deep that both were in the water at the same time. On takeoff and landing in water, when wings level, both would be out of the water until slowed down and then one or the other would be in water producing it's own wake.
14:19 Am I seeing things or is the rain on the glass to the left moving forwards, against the wind? I'm not sure how that is implemented to be honest, but it looks like they did it in reverse.
@@BritishAvgeek For sure. I can not wait until i get a new graphics card so I can buy this new version of MSFS. Wont be for awhile since I am out of work at the moment.
On the compass on the instrument panel, the online manual says: "The wide needle shows the direction to the radio navigation station, if you have one dialled in." Any idea how you dial one in?
@@BritishAvgeek Yeah, guess so. So, the GPS wouldn't really be cheating then, just a different interface to the same navigation equipment that was installed on the aircraft originally? :) Plus, if I had one of these in real life then I'd probably have a secret GPS somewhere.
This thing brings me back to the FSX days when I did bush trips around Alaska in the blue and yellow livery.
Awesome! I'm sure in no time there will be those liveries painted by the community! 🙂
Thanks for checking out our Goose.
You're most welcome - nice work! 😁

Interesting to hear - I'll have to take a look at the wider effects with landing on water etc then. Either way, it's great fun and looks fab!
Good review, thank you. What a beautiful aircraft. Well done Big Radials.
Thanks 🙂

Wow, I think you're right there! Looks like the water is going forward indeed! Not sure why that could be 🤣
This was brought to our attention too (I'm one of the devs from Big Radials) and we're getting that fixed :D
I have loved this plane since I was 9 years old after seeing Tales of the Gold Monkey TV show.
Great to see it's been replicated in MSFS then!

Tales of the Golden Monkey comes to mind. Lets see who connects with those words!
There's a Cutter's Goose livery included 👍
Fantastic video! Thank you!
Oh, and this just came out for xbox this evening for all you xbox users...4-21-2022
Thankyou 😀
It does look like a lot of fun :)
Sure is! Haven't blown the engines yet thankfully 🤣

Use the GPS in the secret compartment to tune on the GPS I imagine

Nice video ! i do think the auto pilot does not work (bug ?), unless there is something i do not understand.
Thanks! It doesn't have an autopilot but instead has a gyropilot (like the DC6) and that's a bit more fiddly and tricky to use 🙂
Is it possible to start the engines without CTRL+E?
Yes just follow the checklist items to get it all started up 🙂
I hear a constant clicking noise anybody know how to get rid of it
Do you think it's pretty ?
First
😁
