OHV park near me has MX tracks, but it also has easy OHV trails and beginner areas where you can just practice riding. In fact this is where I plan on taking my first real bike (a dual sport) to learn riding first. And I hear you on high temps. I am in FL, and it gets so hot here too.
@@eliinthewolverinestate6729 I rode mountain bikes all my life, I'm in my 40s now. So I think the squid stuff is out of my system hopefully. I don't even plan on getting a street bike. No desire for going fast. Just want a bike for exploring, and I'm tired of pedaling all the time :)
The OHV area near me has so many different trails (you'll see!!) but I'm just restricted to when I can ride since my bike is a 2-stroke and doesn't meet California emissions.... 🙄
90⁰f is my limit in the city. 95⁰f in the country where I don't have to sit at lights. Stopped for gas about kills me though. An i wear high-viz an silver gear. Can't do black gear in the heat at my age.
I currently ride with a day hiking pack, over my Tumi due to water bag, and that's great for hiking but considering going for the Kriega r25. Anything on your back should be designed to keep weight equally distributed, so a little worried I am not getting much for something motorcycle specific other than reflective parts, which I can add aftermarket. Do you ride with a water bag? Does your backpack distribute weight nicely, and how many Liters does it carry(first aid kit, change of clothes, snacks, water, and tools)?
The RiderBag is 35L but doesn't feel huge. I don't ride with a waterbag on my Rebel but I do on my dirtbike. On the rebel I just carry a full thermoflask of water :)
Yup riding here in AZ above 105 gets unbearable after 30 minutes, basically only night riding for the last few months. Got a cold front this week with highs in the low 90s and it feels so nice.
I don't like riding at night, 9/10 motorcycle accidents in my area are at night... some the car's fault, some the MC's fault, some solo... but I'll pass LOL
Everyone here knows how UA-cam works. Adds. Sponsors and who cares what order you put videos together in. Upward and onward! 👍👍 I hope you achieve everything you want out of your channel
The latest trend over the past 6 months has been for youtubers to plug their sponsors directly during their vlogs....I for one will not be offended as this trend has become widespread.
I found your channel a day ago and loving your content! Keep up the great work.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, I appreciate it! 💛
Love these rides that you do.. enjoy your rebel

I learned on a dirt bike. But learned stupid squid stuff. Like sand and kick stand pivots. Different ways to lift a bike in nasty terrain.

@@itsmissy_xo gotcha. And cool, can't wait to see that 2stroke bike in action!
Great ride along and chat! Wishing you the very best with your channel and going forward with it....stay free...🤟😎
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)
Wearing all black in the summer isn't fun either. I bought an Eclipse 2 jacket from Rev'it in Silver. It made a huge difference.
Good to know! I don't have any room in my closet for more gear but maybe next year I'll upgrade!

I'll add more gear when my closet isn't full LOL for now, I live in black (both on and off the bike!)

I got in a bycicle today for the first time after a few years, i'll get some experience on it before getting a motorcycle.
