One note I will add in on this very useful info is that if you have issues gauging head height on maps....look for cues. I've found Bungie puts some handy items in the game....lines on walls, lights at a certain height, etc. They all seem to tend to be head height. When he was explaining the aiming on the Mercury map, if you notice the light on the wall where he was aiming and stated "head or chest height" it is at about that light...or the wall to the right has a harsh line on it....at head height. There are a lot of things on maps that give away this handy level. Can't wait to see more of this series.
This is very true and I will pay attention to this more in the future, to be honest I rarely pay any attention to the physical attributes or looks to my surroundings alot of the time and I tend to tunnel vision and focus on my opponent instead of everything around me.
yes sir... thought i was the only one who noticed that but also failed to have the discipline to use said ques and shoot the shit out of peoples knee caps
LOl I learned never to rely on the team support. Can't tell you how many times I was let down by teammates who bailed on me while I was engaged in a gunfight
@@ogoe_joeoutdoors1088 I'm part of a clan in which the former leader (they took a hiatus for personal reasons) would complain that he would get left on his own to face down 2-3 people, but if we helped him he would complain about us kill stealing, nobody in a gun fight is going to be focused on who they will single out, you shoot who you can when you can And so the rest of us got sick of the complaining and did our own thing
Personally I just want to touch on the subject of “meta weapons”. Yes, meta weapons are meta for a reason. However that doesn’t mean that anything that isn’t SpareBenders is dog shit. A guy on my Trials team consistently maps shotgun apes with Bastion, or outguns Hardlights with pre-fired Tommy’s Matchbook. So if you find yourself wrecking face with an “off meta” loadout, don’t like the likes of this video stop you from using it. Guns in this game are tailored to the user. I’ve personally been wrecking Hard Light and Suros users with Vigilance Wing of all things the past 2 trials weekends. So yes, while meta weapons are meta for a reason, if you find yourself doing better with some random combo that you only ever find yourself using, don’t stop kicking ass with it just because it’s not meta. Meta doesn’t equal “these are the only viable weapons” and they don’t necessarily have an advantage over anything else. Spare Rations for example, is just a 150 hand cannon, so if you find yourself kicking ass with a different hand cannon, don’t feel compelled to switch off just because it isn’t Spare Rations.
I love any content geared toward less skilled or less experienced players! Thanks for helping the guys who need help the most. I'm happy to see Crucible school is back! Keep'em coming brother!
My tip is to play survival, the more you play the more you'll find which weapons your most compatible with, you'll learn how to take out 2 to 3 people on your own, you become more aware of your surroundings, and your reflexes will improve. It sucks at first but eventually you'll get it.
43% on his good loadout up from 11% on his example loadout is where he got the 4X from. However, this is Destiny 2, so I unironically wouldn't be surprised if the actual numbers were, as you put it, really, really funny.
MrDrProfessor Oak From a 1:15 cooldown to 0:41 is approximately an 83% increase...less than 2x greater. Funny numbers indeed (I believe they’re based on the percentage of cooldown decrease that can be acquired, not on the overall cooldown), but pretty easy to see all the same.
@@travousbieber3939 The 1:15 to 0:41 is for the rift cooldown and I was referring to health recovery delay, but yes, I agree that changing from 11% to 43% won't make you recover max health in a quarter of the time.

Great advice from one of the best and most entertaining players in the game!
What handcannon are you using and is it good?
That was Thorn, exotic handcannon with damage over time. It's a 150 rpm. It's very good.
I need this. Thanks and keep it up man!
When half of these tips don't matter because hardlight is BEAAAMMMING you around 3 corners for double damage 🤥
Jeremy Jones it’s in times like this when I wish I was a titan main, I’ve been playing titan in PvP recently and the barricade can stop those ricochet shots
@@Unvexed that what they save grenades for lol.
Tip 1: Use hand cannon
Tip 2: Use Beloved/Revoker/Shotgun
Tip 3: Slap Icarus grip on everything
Tip 4: Peek shot
This is what you see in *every* D2 wager tournament, sweaty 1v1s and most 1v3s and 2v3s.
Or auto rifles
@@snowyice3836 good hand cannon users can outplay auto users. That's why you still see UA-camrs and elite players using hand cannons in trial carries and 2v3s etc. Handcannons are still the actual meta for outplaying every primary.
Dude hell yeah im so pumped I this is a throwback

do you do coaching? I've tried everything but having someone personally teach me, and i never improve
Out of all the talented Destiny 2 players that I enjoy to watch. I get the most from your content. More more value in videos like this instead of some streamer/content creator pub stomping. Keep up the good work!
