When you play it, your ears ring lol
As a piccalo player it is a bit more octaves higher than a regular flute if that helps you
I find it a little shrill and unpleasant. Personal taste is all. Too high and sharp and it's not so soothing. Flute for me
@@dannyardon1710 yeah, my body gets tense with very high notes 😅 but that's the purpose of the piccolo flute

I play both flute and piccolo for band, but I'm better at flute for two reasons. 1: I've been playing flute for almost four years 2: I just learned how to play piccolo five days ago for marching band

pick your flute up for better sound and position notes when counting the notes and tap ur toe for the notes 1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4 soo on!!
