I got my second recovery period today, after I realised I'm not the unicorn that can still do 4x a week strength training and recover lol...I got my first one 48 days ago after a three week training break (and 3.5 years of no periods), and after these two weeks of not training and doing nothing, the second one came. I attribute my recovery fully to the wonderful resources you continue to put out and your tough love, thank you. I'm going to stop structured exercise altogether for the foreseeable future to get my body back to cycling regularly again!

Thank you Dani for sharing all of your tips for HA recovery online and making this information so accessible. My period has been missing for 2.5 years due to competitive swimmer and underfueling. After listening to your podcasts and videos, I stopped training and just did yoga and Pilates for the last 2 months. I’m so happy to say I got my first period today!!! I’m on vacation in Hawaii with my family and I’m crying joyful tears

I'm happy for you for getting your period back. I'm currently struggling with eating more and cut exercising. I found that I increase by food for couple of days but the i back to my old habit of eating less. I even want to change my exercise routine but i don't know how to do that

Hi Dani! I have a question also related to travel and timezones. I have moved overseas 3 years ago (a completely different timezone) and wonder if this could be why my periods are still missing. I have history with ED and restriction/over exercising, which I admit I have struggled with even after moving. The thing is though, I have recovered my periods twice - every time I traveled back to my home country and spent some weeks with my family. Before finding your videos I played the "how low can I go" so I understand why my periods were missing but simply don't understand why I got one or two cycles while visiting my family. If it's helpful I became fully committed 3 months ago; stopped exercising, eaten more and gained weight. I'm really wondering if living on a different timezone than where I grew up can throw things off this much or my body doesn't trust me when I'm alone??? Thanks if you reply and your videos are soso helpful ❤

@DaniSheriff yes pls answer this question. I shifted to a country with 12 hour time difference 2 months back. And since then my periods have been missing. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests- all negative. Pls note I shifted to another country after my marriage if marriage has to do anything. Stress - yes I know it's there. I have gained a little belly fat as well. My food habits did change. I don't feel that much hungry in this country. I used to have 3 proper home made meals back in my country. I am 34 years. My periods were regular (27-28 days cycle) for last 20 years in my home country. I might have missed or delayed 1 or 2 periods in these 20 years but the next period came early so I was never worried about it. Yesterday, some on and off spotting started but periods are not coming yet.

@@DaniSheriff Okay. I will check your video. My periods did come when I started eating more and resting more. But then I was bleeding for a month. I got myself checked and everything seems fine. Dr. Said it might have been messed up due to travel, stress etc and must come on time the next time. Fingers crossed 🤞

Hey can you PLEASE answer me I’m really struggling right now. I lost my period in 2020 due to overexercising/underfueling/stress and all the stuff, but got it back just once in december 2021, and the second one never came because I slipped back into my old habits. I gradually got better and at the end of 2023 I was mentally recovered but only in the last few month have gained about 10kg. I’m at a really healthy weight now but no period. I just recently cut down on exercise though. MY QUESTION IS: Would it potentially be harder to get my period back the second time if I already lost it once? Do i have to gain a lot more weight? I am already 5kg heavier than the first time I got my period back. PLEASE HELP!! ❤

How many days can temp rise be seen after ovulation? Had a big dip in BBT this friday after positive ovulation clearblue test on wednesday, lots of EWCM (now they are more white and not stretchy), much less apetite and nausa. But the BBT is back at like it was the days before the temp dip (using Oura and also tried a usual one the last 2 days and it was 36.7 today (don’t know my baseline) and now it’s Monday. Higher apetite and sleepy (eating and resting more ofc) Happy to get some answers! Obs had my first period last month after 20 (!!) years without (only had once) and a baby through IVF 1,5 years ago. Been working hard the last year to really recover
