Tolulope!!! you and PG are such a role model. I am much older than you and have been married for almost 20 years. what you have said is exactly what We did. I had to work much less than my qualification as my husband's job is extremely demanding and he makes a lot more income. However, I look after the home, our 3 wonderful kids and even manage the family finance. I give him his monthly allowance and sort out all the taxes and family Bills. This was created from love, ambition, transparency, trust and fear of God. It has helped us to build together more than we could have imagined. No marriage is perfect, but finance is a major issue if resolved makes life much easier. I hope a lot of young couple will learn.
I’m doing this now ma and you just proved to me that we’re doing the right thing.

I would love to appreciate Tolulope and her husband for coming up with this topic cause is a very sensitive one. Sensitive in the sense that it's capable of breaking a home and at the same time if handled properly it can also build the home. And before you can arrive at that, transparency, trust and communication like he said is very important. To crown it all, the couple must see themselves as one irrespective of their income.

😂😂 Tolulope is just me and more when it comes to managing finance in my home. And it frustrates hubby most times, especially my habit of saving secretly (for future projects) because I know once he's aware of that money it must be used 😩.
PG is way more understanding, cos he actually let you be the boss there. Most marriages are suffering because of trust issues based off of money. Once one person feels financially insecure, there'll be a lot of secrecy.
I've really learnt a lot from this video and being married for 11 years I can tell you it won't be so easy but can be achieved. Thank you 🙏🏻.

This is a very insightful video. God bless you both and your home. The importance of being on the same page financially is very often underestimated. I know a woman who is suffering in silence and I'm going to share this video with her. She has a very good saving habit but she's married to a man who does not save, sends money to people back home without discussing with her. Then when he's in a fix, he brings the problem to her and she gives him her savings. He has collected her saving every year for the past 3 years. Hopefully, she'll watch this video and summon the courage to have that conversation with her husband
