Ok so I don’t even take the time to write reviews because I’m so busy. But this guy totally deserved one. Thank you so much for helping me fix my vacuum all by myself as a woman. You made it super easy in the video. I own a cleaning company. My vacuum broke on the job. Your video saved me. Thanks.❤❤
@jcsequipmentrepair6130 wow! I wish I would have known. I replaced the whole switchbox. Good tutorial regardless. I might buy the switch and have a backup box ready to go just in case
I replaced the switch assembly and vacuumed for 2 hours and now it doesn’t want to turn on. My power cord is getting power but when I turn the switch on, it doesn’t turn on.
It’s probably the thermal switch. Make sure it’s clear of debris and has a new bag in it. A lot of restrictions and heat will cause it to shut off until it’s cool.
It must be I spoke to a rep from pro team and what they told me was that the cord we were using was maybe being tugged or not set correctly which I think is BS. At this point I’m not sure what’s going on. I do know we have had many issues with these
Is the switch the main issue when a short happens? I plugged it into a wall outlet at a clients office and a huge spark flashed and my vacuum wouldn't turn on anymore.
Usually it’s the plug itself. It starts to ark pretty easy when it’s a little loose (what proteam told me) so make sure the extension have a tight fit with the plug

Thanks for your help
If the ground pin came off, would you recommend replacing the entire switchbox?
Just the cord side it’s a lot cheaper. I have another video on how to do it
Here is the video on just the cord

How do you know if the switch is really the problem?
I put the multimeter on either ohms reading or diode. I will have a video out soon that shows how I do it.
Please🙏🙏🙏
Our prongs keep burning up in the extension cord. Is this a manufacturing issue?
