Lima beans yummy. That was a staple at my uncle Pat's banquet hall back in the 60's . Prime rib , baked potato and Lima beans !

To your Savoy cabbage. Tell your Grammy to roast an onion in butter, little flour, precooked Savoy cabbage,broth and then puree. Nutmeg and a little cream. Awesome sidedish

The sound of breaking off many different Veggies is music to my ears.
Look at those fields and those vegetables. It seems like just yesterday you were planting seeds in the greenhouses. Your attention to detail and the care you take with your crops make for fortunate customers; it's obvious they are getting the best produce money can buy. And I never realized you grew so many berries and grapes on the farm. I learn something new every day. Gotta go now and eat a plate of vegetables.

Guys and gals try the cooling towel beneath the ball cap. Make sure it's long enough to cover the back of your neck. Stop the sun burnt red neck scene and be all weather . U can even soak it or freeze it during those 100 degree days will feel like nothing

I have to admit that I am spoiled. All summer long Mom and Grandma made sure that we always had a vegetable platter of sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce and broccoli etc!

try putting a bucket of water under a beetle trap and cut the end off the sock. the beetles fall into the water and cant swim out. every morning, free treats for the chickens. if it works well you can do it for all the traps.

Love all of your videos. Reminds me of when I was a child my grandparents had 600 acres they planted every year for their farm market. Also had over 100 acres of fruit trees and bushes, everyone of us grandkids worked those fields all day long during the summer and after school in the spring and fall. We had so much fun.

It is amazing how much that stuff grows every video... While bees will make honey, very few plants actually need bees. They only pollinate about 5% or less of what is farmed in the US.

Hi you guys are natural, and I'm smiling for the kohlrabi.
When my dad grew raspberries, he wired glass jars to T posts in raspberry bed. He'd fill halfway with a mixture of white vinegar water and sugar. Bugs are drawn by smell and climb down into the liquid and once they're wet are unable to climb up the glass to exit and drown. Strain juice through a strainer and pour juice back into jar do 2x a day at first til you get population knocked down. Make sure you dispose of dead bugs far away off your property or you'll draw more bugs to your area. You'll thank me later.

Those beetles traps use pheromones to attract the beetles. Move the traps far away from your raspberries. Move them away from anything you want to save. You’ll need to treat the ground to kill the larvae in order to control the Japanese beetle. Your local extension agent can be a good resource. Penn State is a good Ag school that probably has some resources.
