I have an FZ07 and I just ordered some. The front end is way too soft, so I get severe head shake at 3 digit speeds. I hope it'll make the bike more stable overall.
@@JustinFisher1Shit, too late. I scratched them already lol. They're the black ones and they're hidden so i don't really care. But the performance is phenomenal. The bike feels so much more planted in the corners, does not dive as much when braking or engine braking, and throttle control is easier at slower speed. Definitely would recommend these to anyone.
Thanks! I'll have a look at that, I like the position it is in. Was it difficult to wire up? I have limited (close to zero) electrical technical knowledge.
Thanks for the reply. Will be ordering one (41mm) for my daytona 675. I hope it fits and works with the kyb forks installed. The original cap was stuck and i will rebuild the whole suspension. Again thank you
Good video. I got here from the CBR forum. Did you have to take the weight off the front forks when installing? If so how did you do that? Also, the phone holder you have there, would you recommend it, where is it from (etc) and is that a usb port behind it for charging? Hillscbr
I didn't need to lift the front. the tension of the fork springs isn't bad. just be steady and push down hard. it's pretty simple. The phone holder is a generic version of the well known ram mount but it's just as good, and yes it does have a USB port for charging built in. I would definitely recommend it. I bought this because I didn't want to spend $80 on the name brand version. I got it for $15 on eBay. here's a link www.ebay.com/itm/182040568814
The real difference is price. You can use PVC pipe cut to your preferred length under the OEM caps to accomplish the same function and that will perform equally well. If you prefer to pay more, you can if you like. No judgement.
@@JustinFisher1 I wouldn't pay that much for the expense one's and I wouldn't take the chance with the cheap one.. Pvc is not strong enough to take the force from being compressed
@@neilhamill3441 PVC is strong enough to take the compression loads from the spring/fork internals. Cast alu vs billet alu use depends on product and this is fine. Are you scared to ride your bike because your rear sets aren't billet either? Stop talking out of your ass.
I appreciate that, but I would say consider the quality of the part. There's plenty of expensive garbage out there too. These are well made and I'm still very happy using them after all these years and 30,000 miles.
How can they strip out when they are tight up against a face they won’t strip when bouncing up 😂😂😂 I’ve had a few parts even a steering damper for £35 and has been on the bike a tuono v4 for years now and works perfect 👍
if you want to test the dive put a zip tie around your fork and slide ziptie up to fork seal and then go ride and see how low the ziptie goes down.
Great video. Simple and to the point. No fluff. Cheers
excellent and informative video thank you

Be sure to comment again after you install them to let us know
@@JustinFisher1 You got it.
So I got them installed on the bike now. What the hell do I use to turn the adjuster?
@@Brancovtn65 you just need a wrench. Mine are 10mm, IIRC. Put a handkerchief over it so that you don't scratch them.

how do they hold up over a long period of time? long term experience?
They've held up perfectly except for color fade. Better to get black or silver.

Did they hold up? Like...long enough to be worth the $26?
Still using them. Still doing great.
Thank you for the feedback!
long term review? did it last? advance thanks for your response
Yes, still working perfectly after nearly 30,000 miles. Couldn't be happier.

Did you make any adjustments to your rear shock as well??
chris peterson yes, the stock preload setting on the rear monoshock is 3. I tightened it to 7 and it's been great there.
Justin Fisher thank you. Makes sense. If you adjust one the other should be as well I suppose. ,
How easy are they to fit
Very simple. Unscrew the stock ones and replace with the new ones.
do good? do arm?
Any lowering?
Jesse Montez this doesn't change the height. you'd need to change the internals for that. not recommended.
Justin Fisher yo thanks for the reply my G. Im a noob to them 2wheels haha
They are definitely not the same thing.. The more expensive are billet aluminum and not cast aluminum like the cheap ones

They function, yes but wait till the cheap threads strip out under heavy load and they become a bullet. Don't buy cheap bike parts, just don't
