Damn shame, Cairo winning her duel but the squadron simply could not keep up.
In other news, Shipbreaker remains undefeated by the Inners.
From the Ashes, To the Stars
In a system where Battleships so often falter and fail before the cruisers do, it's nice to see Apollyon's Fury out there representing serious heavy ship play. Its not just built different. That whole squad is doing something right.

PXC Fighting two factions at the same time??
Badass, i was so happy that i saw warspite back and the other cdf ships, brings back memories
It's good to know there are still remnant CDF ships kicking asses
Ah yes, the clash of the titans has finally arrived! At least both BBs survived to fight another day, which means we might see another BB duel soon. It would also be cool to see Auvergne fight Eternity, even though it will be at a massive disadvantage in everything except numbers, because 1st fleet can actually field an escort for Auvergne, whilst Eternity would be hard-pressed to keep even a light escort consistently without forming a joint squadron.
Eh a CCC or PXC squadron supporting E would give E the upper hand. E is also invisible mostly so E can just refuse to fight Auvergne
It does my heart good to see CAs still in service, especially the Warspite and Alysium, veterans that they are
Pink asteroid syndrome strikes again during the final battle.
god i love the design of the Harbinger.
a nice basic dreadnought like a WW2 ship but with the same weapons on the hull.
It's good to see ships from season 1 still kicking ass when they can
Glory to the Admiralty. Glory to Auvergne
I had no idea Alysium is even still around, and both her and my personal fave Warspite made it through this one in spite of getting routed, that's awesome. Some day, we'll have an Outlands museum station with a bunch of the ships from the show that managed to get onto the pages of this little bit of spaceship history. :)
Yeah, a bunch of the original CDF aventines and Viminals are also still alive.
I do hope the Alysium someday will return to her rightful owners.
@@qaterdargon4041 nah, dibs.

I love the use of C&C Generals music
Cairo gunners are something else tbh
TFD scuttled their own station with people still inside? Ruthless. Incredible how the First Fleet was able to beat back two PXC fleets, even if they took some damage at the same time. Do the players feel like they accomplished something if they damage a ship or do they feel like they wasted a good opportunity to do some real damage by destroying a ship? I have looked on the Discord but can't find anything relating to damage rules so I'm not sure how damage is dealt with exactly. Do you take a blueprint of the ship as is for use in the next battle or do you use the standard blueprint and remove any major components recorded as damaged if no repairs could be conducted? Since I am not really sure how a damaged ship can effect a faction, I am leaning a little towards damaging ships being a missed opportunity and a wasted effort compared with destroying a ship fully.
Thanks once again for another high quality Outlands video :)
My only concern with this is that 1st will be able to replace losses much faster and PXC will simply be forced into a war of attrition. If that happens, I doubt PXC will be able to keep up. I don't watch the streams and I don't really want to start now because I'll be too far behind, so at this point, I am just stuck hoping and waiting for PXC to finally force the 1st Fleet to get themselves off their pedestal of deceit.
I think the big E, will do what she does best… and cary
Its a war of survival for the outer reach, and with the eternity on their side they have a good shot at winning.
PXC getting yoused to fighting in a battleship
I love your continued use of the C&C Generals soundtracks
gotta love seeing harsh going point blank
I'm curious about some of these less standard ship classes. Like for example, what's a CVL (or many of those other variants for that matter), and how's a battlement differ from a battleship?
CVL is a one off it stands for Light Carrier. And for the battlements, it's just a really old class of battleship
1st fleet and TFD is just so expansive and enormous that it'd be an insult to call them anything but the Russian empire. PXC meanwhile is akin to Sweden, the great empire of the North.
Use battleships like a sniper uses a long rifle, especially when going against another battleship.
Wear them down from range, this helps avoid heavy damage. Battleships are slow, the farther away you are the more time you have to maneuver.
Only after you cripple that other battleship should you come in close, and bare all guns one the target for the killing blow.
I’ve seen a lot of over confidence in commanders operating battleships in this series.
Some of the commanders need to watch how Eternity fights, go back to season 1 episode 1 and start taking notes all the way up to the current season and episode 😂.
Have your gunners run drills and have them training on moving targets.
Loved the fight, watching battleships exchange hate mail is very entertaining 😂.
Ciro looked good btw
that dosent work anymore acually, hell even in season 1 it didnt work all too well. You can see in season 1, alot of the Es kills were when it just rushed someone down and slaughtered them, and even then, how are you gonna call back to season one when we are in season 4?
it isnt overconfidence from the commanders, after bastilles death just about everyone knew how killable battleships were, canadian(PXC commander) Knows how far he can push apollyon and cairo, and he never leaves them away from their escort.
On top of that, weve seen in trainings(Which we do basiclly daily) that battleships are 20X more effective in outlands combat when you press their massive firepower into a advantage, it tends to push enemy ships out of position, or outright cripple/kill them, meanwhile sitting at range you get very few hits and cant acually do much.
This is coming from a PXC guy, and our battleships continue to outperform all the others because we know how to use them.
@@Basti0n that’s the main point about fighting at range with BBs. The fact you can take evasive maneuvers.
Also you don’t stay at long range the entire time. You make passes or circle the target getting closer at a set pace.
But I feel like putting a little distance between your target would benefit especially where Ciros gunners are super accurate and that 1st fleet ship isn’t.
Ciro would still deliver more hits on target but would suffer way less damage
@@michaelschauf3542 let me try and oversimplify this since my last response what incoherent. Fighting at long range wastes your ships material firepower because your hit rates are horrendous. When you have a fleet battleship you need to maximize that material firepower. When you close ranks your guns start hitting stuff and your warship becomes far more devastating. Rushing down your enemy allows all of your guns to be accurate meaning you can absolutely shred your enemy. If you fight at range you wont hit anything therefore your firepower is wasted.
@michaelschauf3542 the problem with that was for most of that battle the reason Cairo was fighting Auvergne close up was because it was trying to bail out the rest of its squadron from the enemy BB. Therefore it had to push close with Auvergne to lay in the damage and push her away.
The real way to win this battle would've been to have Cairo rush Auvergnes escorts and wipe them out, but unfortunately we never did that.
@@Maysono you always got next turn, eh?

im studying your show to make my own in all honesty mainly the effects and story flow thank you for creating this i genuinely enjoy it outside of studies its awesome and i wish i could see some behind the scene stuff like how you achieve a lot of your effects and stuff and even how you created your own character suits with emblems like HOW DO YOU DO THIS WIZARDRY
PXC really picked a hard fight this time. Heres hoping they can pull it off.
But hell, no matter how it goes, looks like they will go in style.

VPC fight got cut ? Really ? But that was the best one :'(
(yes, I'm biaised XD)
With ya there, those comms were great!
the fight was extremely one sided sadly, and didn't make it that interesting.
@@GetBrocked Aye fair enough x)
Yeah. It was one sided, but thats why it was so fun to watch. Fatalis is on its killing streak.
So when will the Doctor turn up and Deus Ex Machina a memory wipe thing so the management of Phoenix and First come together to hash out peace? 😂
Tear’em apart first fleet!
All of these pvp ships have the same design. Just make it long and front facing. No originality is being encouraged, probably because of block limit so that people have to make every block count.

Second
Bo disrespect or anything but auvvys gunners sucked this fight. It was still cool to see her broadsiding snd exchanging salvos with cairo
IIRC 1st Fleet don't use Gunners, its AI gunnery.
@@korickarmstrong3468 wasnt a good choice then cuz they were missing alot of shots
@@korickarmstrong3468 Wait, legit? Like, as part of their faction doctrine? I suppose it does explain the abundance of fighters they manifest in every battle.
No, they were actual gunners, but here's the thing, Cairo was actual *fucked up*, it just seems less damaged than Auv, which it isn't (also they weren't always being given angle)
@@CT7575Sarge this is true but auvergne was 100% more dammage than Cairo. The gunners really struggled to hit their mark even on cairo but they did really good against the bc for some reason. Weird to me ig
