Great video! I just finished watching GG and I don't understand why Dan & Blair weren't endgame. I loved how in Season 1 he sat with her in the hallway when Eleanor chose Serena over her. Then they had the wit and banter down through the series, and Blair loved the conniving side of him when they teamed up to scheme. Then of course all their interests and the mutual ambition. You could see them getting closer through the series. He proved himself as a true gentleman and a true friend. Then suddenly right at the end of season 5 the writers did a 180. They should have continued the relationship. By the end of the series they should have shown now Dan & Blair had the banter, wit, interests, love, and passion as they had individually, but together - better. They were almost there too. Then they put Blair with emotionally and verbally abusive Chuck. And even if Dan wasn't with her, why did they have to put him with Serena again? She proved how terrible a person she was. It's so wrong!
When he said: "you had someone who loved you uncoditionally,.." My heart just broke. And have you seen the face at the end of the scene when Blair looked a little bit confused because she knew that everything what Dan said to her about her relationship to Chuck was true. I have to admit that I was always a Chair shipper.. well.. and the Dair happened.
ugh this relationship is what true love is. not scheming or games or plots. its about mutual honesty, understanding, and letting yourself be vulnerable...being your true self. These two are their true selves around each other.
Im still shattered about what they did to them on GG. I cant imagine a better story line then what happen before the season 5 finale. Two people that lived in two different places but had so much in common. In my eyes there are what true love/soulmates are. I cant even stand to think what will happen next season. I dont think I will even DAIR to watch season 6. This vid will always be one of my favorite DAIR VID. I MEAN ALL OF annelli0t DAIR VID WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE.
Love is about complete honest and making yourself vulnerable to the person you care about. Only Blair & Dan have been completely honest/open to each other.
5 years ago, this woman hated this man that no one even had no faintest idea that 5 years later, this perfect scene, where Blair comes to her realization that her heart belongs to Dan, where all those 5 years that Dan seeing Blair so unhappy that Blair’s happiness becomes his personal pursuit, will come. Dan and Blair made us believe love moves in mysterious ways. Thanks GG for that.
Why doesn't anyone appreciate that he took her with Chuck when he was sure he loved her? He was the best for her, we like toxicity and that's why we love chair, but Dair is as healthy and real as possible, they didn't fall in love for having Sex, they fell in love for who they were, for both the good and the bad
With every episode, Dair seems to be written for this song! I have no idea how a Dair endgame is inescapable at this point. They've seemed to be heading in this direction the entire time.

They were the perfect endgame couple and they blew it all to go back the original storyline, and made characters act out of character just to do it. I understand that things are mapped out ahead of time, but they should follow what the audience really wants at a certain point.
