I would like an analysis on Ermes vs Devon, like wth happened there 😅 because usually Ermes really posts high, punching his hand straight to the sky and secures the hand, protecting the wrist with the rise. But against Devon he went straight to the side like an absolute madman and sacrificed his wrist in the process..
He didn't train enough rise, there's a good analysis in an italian livestream (analisi ermes vs devon)
He also tried to hold devon off straps for like 20 seconds in a complete fucked up position instead of sliping right in the beginning. After that he was completely gassed out. Devon himself said that they were really close and ermes just messed up in efficiency and technique.

That's not exactly a great representation for the Ermes match. For several reasons:
Denis got a coach and he probably will change up his game
Ermes doesn't have the same levarage advantage as Devon
Ermes doesn't have the same pronation as Devon.
His wrist is also weaker then Devon's which also makes him more vulnerable to a toproll
more of this kind of video format. I’m expecting the same analysis, only about Denis: what he needs to do to win (what if he fought for height, etc.).

Denis doesn't learn from his mistakes. He has relatively weak wrist, his main movement is only for biceps and he always grips low and gives up height to people. He never learns from his mistakes

Ermes pronation in comparison to devon is 10-15% less at the time they faced each other as ermes wrist was taken within 2 seconds and devon even at his best shape against denis took 21 surges to take his wrist and pin him. So logically if even ermes have gotten 10% more stronger in pronation then also he will not able to take denis wrist.

The reason why he didn't climb is that he wanted to control Denis' pronator to take away his main weapon. Had Devon climbed, he would've exposed his own hand to open up and allowed Denis to use his strongest move.

I’m think Denis will win
Denis strength is significantly reduced. You can see that in this match v Larrat he didnt do anything. He was just standing there like a statue, taking all those hits from Devon. If he had the strength to actually add some side preasure and attach Devons arm, he would probably gass Devon out much more, and it would have been a more interesting match. Its like Denis is restricted in some way. Credit to Devon for recognizing this, and being offensive with all that hits to gass Denis's hand, but in any case this was a very poor showing from Denis. I think he is done, i wish im wrong and we can see his prime shape once again, but it doesnt look like it. Ermes if given the same chance as Devon, to take full hand control, will destroy Denis even worse. We saw what Ermes did to Genadi, make that x10 what he will do to Denis if he gets into a good position. Ermes in control is a nightmare for anybody, hence the way Devon actually defeated Ermes, how he mentaly destroyed him and completelly cut off the access to his power, is mightly impressive. It just shows how good Devon was in that match. But styles make matches, so lets see. I think Ermes is stylistically much worse for Denis than Devon, and uf Devon destroyed Denis the way he did, im scarred what Ermes will do to him.
