Remember, he is speaking quietly because he has a cold. You don’t necessarily know how much worse this sounded before it was processed. It may have been very difficult. There is probably a good reason there is a hard gate on his voice.

He is like a big child with genius level intelligence. He has the good intentions of the best of humanity and potentially innocent children, he has fun with the things he creates, but at the same time he takes the most responsibility and reasonable steps to keep all of humanity alive. And it is not something he considers work, it's something he personally wants. He considers humanity his team. And he would never blame anyone for not doing their part. He just looks around: oh, well nobody is doing this, but it is vital for my team to survive and for the future prosperity, so I will do it. He is my, and everyone's hero, even if we don't know it yet.

In a sense you're spot-on. Elon Musk lives in a not-yet realized future. So he's showing us our options and giving us the tools to a better future. Literally living in a better possible future is as close to "time traveler" as physics is going to allow. What he does is mainly what differentiates him from the rest of the herd. People ask him questions they hope will make him look foolish and ( so far as I've seen ) he's already given it the benefit of his considerable powers of thought and gives the answer he's found.

I was 8 1/2 years old when I watched the last Apollo mission. I hope I live to see you set a ship on Mars. I am a retired Commercial pilot with several thousand hours defying gravity for a living. To see a ship even get back to the moon in my lifetime would be amazing. Please know you have tons of support Sir. PS I hear you on AI and it needs to be regulated before its gets out of control.

There's just something about him. He has this aura that creates a cult of personality around him. It's insane how many ears he has pointing his way whenever he utters a single word... THAT'S powerful. I think it's because he's so smart and has such great goals for humanity, and is able to break it down for the average human to understand, while also occasionally throwing in jokes and memes which increases relatability, while also being one of the top 5 richest people in the world. Name another billionaire like that.

80 years ago as a little girl, lying on the lawn at night watching the stars and unlimited space, I thought to myself, if only someone could build a space ship to go up there, I would not care at all if I would die and never come back, but I would go if I could only see what is out there. I would think and believe that there are many young souls today that feel and think as I did, and will want to be one of the first to take on that flight of hope.

I'm not 80 but certainly getting closer. If I was younger I would go. It's a great dream.
